We went to 1424 to celebrate a birthday (around 10 people). Although we were there on a Saturday at lunchtime, the restaurant offers, as on weekdays, 3 lunch menus to choose from (starter, main course, dessert). All the dishes were plentiful. For those who are hungry, I think that the starter and the main course respectively the main course and the dessert are more than enough. You can easily order in advance so you can be served all at once when the time comes (which we did). The service was fast and the staff very friendly. We were even treated to a surprise for the person celebrating their birthday (candles and small gifts from La Fabrique).

Une très bonne note finale pour une belle découverte. Nous reviendrons, mais cette fois, c’est sur deux chaises que nous nous poserons, se reposer le dos de temps en temps n’étant pas superflus. En ce sens, nous suggérons aux propriétaires, le remplacement de ces banquettes même jolies, par des chaises plus confortables. Les banquettes quant à elles, peuvent trouver tout leur intérêt dans un coin accueil/apéro, voire thé/café pour un court passage en journée ou avant de se mettre à table. Et si cette idée ne trouve pas d’échos favorable, achetez des gros coussins pour mettre dans le dos de vos clients, ce sera déjà beaucoup mieux.
