Le 1955 in Chamoson

While passing through Chamoson I discovered the olive bread (medal winner... and we understand why!!) and the Linz pie. 1 hour drive from home... Maybe I'll settle in Chamoson after all!!

I love stopping occasionally when I pass by there early in the morning!!!! I love it 😍 The price is still high...

One of my favorite bakeries!!! Especially their Sant'Abbondio apricot breads and their panettone 😋 The only downside is the Nespresso “coffee” machine... 😓

This bakery won a gold medal for the limoncello panettone and a silver for the apricot panettone. There are also good bottles of Valais wines which are sold out by the top winegrowers.

Little discovery thanks to a local friend. I’ve only just tried the panetone (chocolate for the kids, limoncello for the parents) and the coffee… can’t wait to go back for the bread!!!

This bakery is truly pure joy, it is the pinnacle of local products and the staff is very friendly. Now there are rectangular panettones which are easier to cut 👌😍

Nice place to have a coffee with a delicious cupcake. Above all, don't forget the top bread and the Panettone.

What can I say... One of the best bakeries in Valais. The savory dishes are incredible (big up to the canapes which are the best I've eaten!). The sweet dishes are just as fabulous. Obviously, the entire assortment is at a certain price... which is certainly not for all budgets, but it is worth 1000x the detour.

The panettones are super good, we tasted the Berlin ball, it has nothing to do with an industrial one and the bread let's not even talk about it. It's so difficult to find good bread but here you can go with your eyes closed. Very friendly salespeople and very well maintained store!

Their pancakes and their hazelnut croissants are killer (the inside is much better than the cream of Kinder Buenos. Killer!!!) 😍 I love it!! Everything is very good. The staff is friendly, as is the manager. I really like their grocery store.

We came here last year and again this year. We were impressed to see so many good quality food, wine in the shop especially the freshly baked panettone, sweets (rare in Valais). What annoyed us was the burned focaccia when served (photos attached). Last year we were served burned focaccia and this year again the same, should we go for the third time burned focaccia ?! This time I even told the lady at the counter the focaccia behind her in the mini oven is going to "brûlée " but she ignored me and served other customers...aaahhhhh... In addition, the music was so loud, the employees were happy listening to it but not us eating burned focaccia with so loud music. We initially wanted to buy the panettone and other sweets but we left, sorry, won't be back.

A bakery like few others. The smell of warm bread when you enter the store tickles your nostrils because the bread is made on site. The pastries and other desserts are a marvel The salespeople are always smiling, friendly and happy to provide information on the composition. Very nice bakery. Bread at the top with natural sourdough stop by and take a look there is the choice between the bakery and the grocery store 👍👍👍🤎 just too much cinnamon in the pastries it's quite a shame especially for those who don't like this ingredient

Bakery, tea room and grocery store selling local products. The choice is super satisfying. Super artisan baker. His bread is excellent, especially his pannetoni. Mr. Gobbi not only brings good bread, but also a place to live in St Pierre de Clage. Even though I'm not directly from the region, I happily make a detour to taste its black bread. I recommend.
