Excellent place for lunch or dinner. Visited for a business lunch and it was a clear 5 star experience for food (tried the beef steak with wasabi pure) service (very professional , timely and helpful) as well as ambience. Definitely recommended and you can also sit outside when the weather is good!

Absolutely stellar experience throughout. The food is definitely the star of the show, with specialties including the Pluma de Pata negra totally out of thus world. It's equally supported by a thoughtful selection of delicious wines and a very professional and welcoming team who are there to guide you with their (excellent) recommendations. The fact that it is also affordable and attracts a nice crowd makes it a real gem -- do not hesitate !! I'll make it a must-stop every time I'm in town.

The cuisine is seasonal and the setting is really nice. I really liked the slightly chic bistro type place with a little view of the kitchens. The waiters who, with their touch of humor, bring a little originality. I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of Le Bologne close to Geneva main train station. I had the 3-course business lunch for CHF 40. Considering the very good quality of the food, this is a bargain. The service is attentive & friendly and the chef easily offered some good vegan alternatives to my guest. The terrace is in a quiet side street but gets booked early apparently.

Best restaurant in Geneva. Service is very friendly. Best pata Negra anywhere. Only downside is they are only open M-F. Run, don’t walk here.

This place was a delight, excellent professional and friendly service, nice decor and atmosphere, the food was absolutely delicious, beautifully plated and well thoughtout flavours, not that they care about my opinion but the sour cream on the lamb overpowered it and for me would be better on the side. HOWEVER it was one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had. Small portions... but then you get to then dessert trolly where you can have a taster of basically all 8+ desserts if you wanted. Lemon pie was aaaaaaamazing. So for a special occasion or a cute date, this is the place to go.

The waiters a really nice, well mannered and quick. The food was great all the way from the starter to the dessert. Wines were good, too, with a decent selection. Ambience is ok, simple, classic, nothing outstanding.

Deplorable customer service....perhaps it is in an an attempt to create an aura of exclusivity, but the effect is that this restaurant will never have my business nor that of anyone in my network. I called a week in advance to make a reservation for a birthday dinner for two. I was told that I would be placed on a waiting list and would be notified if there was an opening. I followed up a few days later and was told that I was still on the waiting list, but that I would receive notification if something were to change. I received a missed call on the day that I had requested the reservation, along with a voice message informing me that there had been a cancellation and my reservation had been confirmed. I did not receive any further instructions. Nevertheless, I called to confirm my reservation an hour and a half later. No one picked up. When I called again later in the afternoon someone finally picked up but informed me that I no longer had a reservation. The person I spoke with made zero efforts to accommodate me, even after I explained that I had called the week before, that it was for a special occasion and that I had called earlier in the day to reconfirm with no success. I don't care how good the food is here, or about your Michelin status, if the people skills of your employees are as deficient as demonstrated by my recent experience attempting to make a reservation, your business is not worthy of welcoming paying customers.

Surprising that it took me more than ten times before posting a review, it must be said that it is easy to forget after such meals! From the room to the kitchen it's a competition of perfection, you will notice that I will say "we" throughout because I know that my opinion is unanimous among my friends. Every time you accommodate us, whether we booked for 5 and we arrive at 10 or the opposite, you always find a solution! I should have made a list of everything I tasted at your place but that would have forced me to write a book... So I will just highlight the celery risotto with truffle and foie gras as well as the cicada tails – both of these dishes were truly standout experiences, especially knowing that I don’t even like basic celery! To return to the cicada tails, it's simple, I had rarely seen anything so precisely cooked - pearly was no longer enough to describe the flesh of the cicadas as they could have rivaled Cleopatra's pearls! Thank you and well done! PS: It's also a super accessible and fast restaurant at lunchtime for a business lunch, not just for feasts with friends on Thursdays :)

I really liked this restaurant but experienced a serious hiccup yesterday. We arrive between 12:15 and 12:30 with friends. We are served for the main course at 1:35 p.m. and we leave in a hurry at 1:50 p.m., without having time to have dessert, in order to be able to make our afternoon appointments. No excuses or even reductions on the menu price. It was my 40th birthday and I wanted to introduce people to the place. A failure that is difficult to digest.

Its on a small quiet street and it has a little outside terrace as well. Prices are comparable to other similar places in Geneva.
