The Eatery - Gives A Fork in Genève

Went to the eatery with high expectations given some of the reviews I read. Myself and my partner ordered pancakes off the brunch menu. My partners pancakes were at best ok. They had the potential to taste great but inside the pancake was undercooked. I ordered the chocolate pancakes. I think the chef accidentally used salt instead of sugar. Mines were practically inedible… so much salt I could not even taste the chocolate. Quite expensive brunch spot for 3 tiny pancakes.

Delicious, fresh food, fun atmosphere, and caring service

I organised brunch here for a largeish group of friends and couldn't recommend it more! The staff were super friendly and helpful in their suggestions to meet our group's dietary requirements, including modifying a couple of options from veggie to vegan. A really fun atmosphere and awesome DJ, will definitely be going back !

SCANDALOUS. Despite a confirmed reservation in which my email and telephone number are stipulated, I am told - once there only - that the chef is absent and that we cannot therefore eat. In addition, the situation seems to make the staff laugh. Result : - parking paid for nothing - an obligation to have to go elsewhere at the last minute - a ruined birthday reservation ABE

Came to the eatery for lunch with my partner, we were pleasantly surprised. The food is fresh and reminded us of home. I was really happy to have such a scrumptious vegan meal. My partner and I had the Chaka baked, the tacos, and a quesadilla. Can highly recommend all three. We also had fresh juice, soooo yummy!

Being a big fan of Gives a fork I wanted to try it at Eatery but it was a big disappointment. The dishes were very uninteresting, with no taste, nothing you couldn't make at home. This is not at all like the experience I had at Gives a fork. Added to that, unless you want to eat brunch you might as well go to a Mexican restaurant because that's all that's on offer. Concerning the atmosphere it was quite strange, the restaurant was empty except for the owners who were present and who did not even deign to greet us. Furthermore, I don't think that a service room while customers are eating is the ideal place to develop professional projects, answer the phone or even bother customers to plug in their computer, coming from the owners that's very blah. The service was okay, however when a plate is returned almost full, the least you can do is ask what was wrong.

My partner and I had brunch here and we loved the food. Staff were also very kind.

I had a great brunch in this restaurant, with magnificent colorful dishes that I like. The place is very bright with a decoration that is different from the ordinary, which I like. The chef's creative dishes are a real delight. I recommend without moderation.
