Le Catalpa Bar in Carouge (GE)

It's very heavy to have to wait 10 minutes for your beer...the waiters are really in relaxation mode 😅 Too bad the cute waitress wasn't there because she works! Nico, you know what you have to do...

The team is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the atmosphere even better. They organize some great activities that really add to the experience of this unique bar. I highly recommend this place to have a good time.

This theme bar could easily be in London, Athens, Rome or any other big European capital, yet it is well hidden in one of Geneva’s streets close to Carouge. Great cocktails, amazing atmosphere with attention to every detail and friendly service make this place a real must for Geneva’s bar scene!! Very nice atmosphere and decor. It’s a shame that after a certain time we can no longer hear each other talking because the music is too loud. A bar is not a nightclub.

A superb place similar to the great trip trap hotel with a very relaxed atmosphere and good music. The drinks are also very good and the service is superb with a bartender who keeps things hot and makes us have a good time. I really recommend this bar

Great bar with incredible decor. Original cocktails with nice ingredients (e.g. lavender, hibiscus, etc.), there is something for everyone. The terrace is nice too, and there are even projections sometimes in summer. :) very nice ! In addition, the waiters and waitresses are friendly!

Surprising bar hidden inside the Trip Trap hotel in Carouge. The design of the room make you dream and travel with pieces of decoration inspired by the TT escape game world such a 19th century airship! Worth to be noticed : I had my best cocktail with Chartreuse & Tequila in town (named "Scandale")!

Unique place of its kind. Extraordinary decoration with, excuse me, an indoor tree! Listen to Radio Vladivostok in the toilets on the right and poems in the toilets on the left. Observe every detail of the decoration carefully.

Really cute little bar with a nice outdoor terrace. Great cocktails, beers and bagel snacks and a very chill vibe. It's hidden away behind the Trip Trap Hotel (fantastic escape rooms!) Keep looking and you'll find it! I'm trying to update all my reviews to answer the important question "would I go back?" This place gets an enthusiastic "already have; many times".

Bar with particularly friendly staff! You are immediately welcomed into a special atmosphere and decor that gives the place its character. Attached to the TripTrap Escape Games, the establishment allows you to have a drink before and/or after your game. The location of the Catalpa is ideal because it is possible to park easily, thanks to the 2 car parks nearby, while the Bar remains set back, around the corner of a building, hidden at the end of an alley. Nothing better to relax and enjoy your cocktail!

Rude manager, they don’t know the rules regarding covid and did not accept EU valid covid certificate app. Threw customers out of the bar and slammed the door behind them..

Stumbled upon it by chance after an escape game at the Grand Trip Trap Hotel... Very nice surprise, the decoration is original and the atmosphere is great. Ideal for a late evening on the terrace.

I had a great evening here. The place is really nice and quiet enough, the staff is great, the drinks and the small sandwiches were very good, the decor is magnificent, the toilets are worth the detour! I recommend :)

A little pearl hidden at the end of a silent alley. The decor is great, the cocktails are good and the staff is friendly. Between the bar and its cozy terrace and the secret and industrial setting, everything is there to make any hipster in the world green with envy, because to find it, you have to know. The entire bar could be a speakeasy.
