When in Geneva I am staying in Carouge. One of the main reasons is Pesca Rouge fish shop and a small restaurant. I have to admit my deep love to Bretagne region in France. And it brings Bretagne to Switzerland. Here I can get fresh seafood, fish, salted Bretagne style butter, relaxing atmosphere, friendly but not butt-licking service and great wine. They don't have much space here, there are a few tables. Outside seating possible in summer. Prices are ok, because you are in expensive city Geneva and sea food is never cheap when fresh. Highly recommended.

I went to taste black pearl oysters and fish soup a week ago. The staff was polite. However, I suffered food poisoning and was taken to the emergency room for intravenous administration of anti-emetics and hydration. I called the business at the first symptoms to warn them that there was probably a problem. The owner felt sorry for me but doubted my words. He said I ate too much... I'm a nurse and I know the difference between food poisoning and being bloated. Thanks to him !

Real fishmonger with extraordinary choice. Perfectly fresh fish - the cod is magnificent, but so are the salmon steaks, sole fillets, perch fillets. Cod rillettes, daily specials, smoked salmon, pike dumplings... everything is perfect. Very friendly welcome. Convenient hours. In short, it's simply great to have this store in our beautiful city! Brilliant fishmonger which offers a wide choice of fresh, quality products in the town of Carouge. The owners are great! I highly recommend this small local business which reminds me of my Breton origins!!

I don't often cook fish because I don't know how to do it. I even went to test the new fish shop and asked for a fish to cook in the oven that didn't have too many bones hihihi. The boss (adorable) prepared a magnificent bar for me and explained to me how to prepare it. The whole family enjoyed it. Now we are going to try the oysters ;-)

Perfect. Super fresh fish, good service. We have bought 10 times since opening, never disappointed. It's a little more expensive than the competition (new store next to Migros) but it's worth it because it's all fresh, wild (with fishing zone declaration) and often always with head (freshness indicator ). Former chef in a 3-star restaurant.

Excellent crustacean fish, oysters and shellfish, served by a young and very friendly team...A treat every time we had their Black Pearl oysters...A little corner of Brittany in Carouge...Can't wait for the opening of the Oyster bar.

Excellent takeaway meals, amazing oysters even though I'm not an amateur, quality products... is there anything on Monday?! Normally we don't fish on Sunday = the best proof for me of respect for the customer, nothing but quality freshness.

This is the fifth time we have gone there for oysters and fish and everything was delicious. . After tasting the oysters and fish several times, I can tell you that I have never eaten such fresh and delicious seafood in Geneva. The quality of the products is exceptional and the prices are very fair. In addition, the staff are absolutely adorable and very caring. Go there with your eyes closed!

The freshness was impeccable and I am obliged to follow the other opinions which seem wanting to harm this new address... It smacks of defamation and I advise you to try it for yourself...!

The arrival of Pescarouge in Geneva is a real joy, I missed so much being able to taste oysters, seafood and fish of such quality and freshness. Oysters can be opened upon request and presented in a pretty little boat. You just have to close your eyes to find yourself in Brittany. The fishmonger is pretty and the staff adorable. A new fishmonger in a bright and welcoming arcade. The fish and shellfish are excellent: I found the best fresh perch fillets from Lake Geneva, very meaty and delicious crabs and lobsters as well as extremely fresh fish. And to top it all off, the staff are lovely, prepare the fish in front of you according to your wishes and give you advice and recipes. I highly recommend this brand!
