Great time with the family, very well received, top cuisine and great chef, thank you!

Great place for an aperitif in the center of the old town of Aigle. Close to the castle.

Nice place and very pretty setting for a table of 7 people. However, two points particularly bothered me. 1. The wine service remains to be desired. The latter was not served professionally. In fact, only the people who were still eating the fondue were served despite the fact that I tried to catch her eye when she was trying to finish the bottle (I had already had to ask once at the start of the meal). A wine can be enjoyed even with an empty plate! 2. Gourmet café at CHF 14.- for pastries served while still completely frozen. When I pointed this out, I was told quite calmly that I had to wait a few minutes to taste them! 10 minutes later, they were no longer frozen but still very cold. Peculiar, disappointing and expensive for industrial stuff straight out of a box from the freezer... Other than that, the meat was very good.

Food was decent, but nothing outstanding to justify its rating as number one restaurant in Aigle. Poor service, no music so just an average place.

The sauces are also excellent (tartar sauce, satay sauce, etc.). Concerning the origins of the meat, everything is Swiss except for the duck which comes from France. The Thai fondue was very varied and was a pleasant surprise, shrimp, fish balls, beef, bacon, mushrooms, noodles... All cooked in broth. Excellent dish to share with 2 or more. The price may seem expensive to some but given the quality of the ingredients and the beautiful presentation of the dishes I find that the price remains fair for a restaurant. This changes from current restaurants where we are only looking to eat in quantity and not quality. only point where they can make an improvement, they could just put a little more work with the slates. Having already been there several times, I highly recommend, very good and varied culinary experience. Good value for money.

After a service that was poor at the level of French and very very slow, we received the drinks and the charcuterie and cheese platter with 1 toast shared in 4. When we asked for a little more bread, the waitress declared that they had more. Seeing that at the next table people were receiving unlimited bread, I asked the owner why they wouldn't give us any. I think this type of service is unacceptable in Switzerland and scandalous and I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.
