Wir waren.heute auf der Terrasse zum Abendessen. Als Ärtztin konnte ich es nicht lassen, und habe mich beim Servicepersonal nach ihren Covid Hygienerichtlinien erkundigt. Der junge Kellner hat uns alles bestens erklärt..Eine Dame kam ohne Maske , hat sich ihre Hände beim Eintritt nicht desinfiziert und begann laut ins Hotelrestaurant hinein zu rufen. Der Restaurantbesitzer hat sie diskret und freundlich darauf aufmerksam gemacht, sich bitte an die Hygienerichtlinien zu halten. Wir hatten im Cheval blanc ein paar Mal unser Abendessen telefonisch bestellt und abgeholt. Was auch immer tip top war. Jedoch genossen wir es heute Abend ausgiebig aufmerksam bedient zu werden. Das Essen war wie immer sehr gut und das Servicepersonal super freundlich.

Fischknusperli habe ich schon viele gegessen. Was ich aber hier serviert bekommen habe, hat mich fast umgehauen. Die waren so etwas von lecker, ich glaub es kaum. Und als dann die Sauce weg war wünschte ich mir noch einen Zusatz - und der kam in einer doch relativ grosszügigen Saucière und mein Glück war perfekt.Und ja - ich kann es nicht ändern. Ich habe von den verschiedenen Gerichte ein Foto gemacht. Aber zu meiner Schande keins von den Zander Chnusperli. Ausgerechnet - grrr.Das Monats Dessert für Fr. 11.50 war auch der Hammer. Ein Dessert für zwei, gerade passend für uns.Summa summarum bleibt ein überaus positiver Eindruck. Wir haben einfache klingende Gericht in herausragender Qualität genossen.Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und wollen wider kommen. Wir hatten Mitte Dez. einen Termin in Zofingen und sind zufallig im Rest. Le Cheval blanc zum Mittagessen gelandet. Schon das Betreten des Restaurants hat uns beeindruckt - die Corona Regeln wurden mit Stil bestens umgesetzt. Das Essen ab der Tagesmenue Karte war hervorragend und die Preise sind sehr moderat. Der Service ist kompetent und sehr freundlich. Als Weinliebhaber hat mir besonders gefallen, dass hervorragende Weine auch glasweise aus der Magnumflasche angeboten werden. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen aber leider ist es wegen den bekannten Einschränkungen im Moment nicht möglich. Wir wünschen dem gesamten Team alles Gute und hoffen, dass bald wieder Normalbetrieb möglich ist.

Habe das grösste schnitzel in town bestellt. Also vom teller hat man nicht mehr viel gesehn weil es so gross war aber so will man es ja auch haben. Fleisch war super und das personal war auch nett.

Rotkraut, Rosenkohl und Maronni bestellt man separat (je 4 Franken: die Portion Rotkraut hätte ich gut teilen können, habe ich aber nicht, so fein...).
