Great experience, friendly welcome I recommend, too bad we couldn't enjoy the terrace it was cold, we plan to return in summer. You have to book, it was crowded on a Friday lunchtime

The place deserves a refresh in the decor, in winter it is a little gloomy in summer, wonderful terrace with a view of Lake Geneva and the Alps. Excellent cuisine! Service a little outdated with the crowds especially in summer.

When you see the front door you can't imagine entering a little corner of paradise! We were even able to eat on the terrace last October 9. 2nd time we have come and very happy with the slate menu (we bought a voucher for 2 people). Very nice home!

The staff, like the boss, is really great. Family atmosphere.

We stopped by as a couple to dine in front of this popular view. We were surprised by the coldness of the waiter (who seemed to be the boss in the end) but so be it, we moved on although annoyed. We had a salad as a starter (the sauce ++) but! We were totally cut off from our momentum by other waiters bringing the slates and fries. Our plates (starters) were moved and the slates placed in front of us. Totally shocked, nothing came out of our mouths. The fries were very good as well as the vegetables (zucchini). The meat was cut in several pieces and not in slabs, which could have been mentioned in the menu. Quality of the meat, nothing to say, a real delight. The waiters came to ask us if a second round of hot slates was necessary, yes, then they left. They never came back. We had time to finish our meats by going to the other's slate which was hotter. And magically, as soon as the last piece of meat made its way into our stomach, the slates came accompanied by the waiters who were offended that we had finished our meals. In itself, the setting is superb and the quality of the food does not doubt the popularity of this establishment. Unfortunately, the service simply did not live up to our expectations and left us with one last bitter taste.

Very warm welcome, magnificent setting, shaded terrace with life on the lake. Nice varied menu, nice wine list. Discovery of the boss's menu with a Realdeals voucher: beef carpaccio - beef on slate - ice cream, bottle of wine, water, coffee and limoncello. Everything is excellent, well served, tasty. A treat, a moment out of time. THANKS !

Beautiful view of the lake. I was able to taste the daily menu in a cool and cozy restaurant. It was very busy even on a weekday lunch. Uncomfortable level of response. (People who want something very nice can often complain, but my group and I were very satisfied) I will go back next time!

1 star this time for the service because the young woman forgot the dietary instructions (illness of one of the guests), brought us the starter too early (we hadn't even dipped our lips in our glasses of aperitif), then simply ignored us for the rest of the evening (no offer of dessert, no coffee, etc.). The servers as well as the food were top notch, however the owner is more than unpleasant and neglects his customers.

Dishes far too greasy, oil absolutely everywhere and in quantity... Moderately friendly staff, even very unpleasant at times. Too bad because the terrace is nice with a beautiful view of the lake.

We were served with an hour and a half wait (for a tartare, perch and a slate). Customers (regulars) who arrived much later than us, were almost at dessert before we started our main course.. Too bad.

The view is magnificent, but unfortunately the service and the cleanliness of the terrace are deplorable! Too bad, because the quality of the food is good. Address to avoid!

Very nice restaurant with an unbeatable quality/price ratio like their 3-course menu with drinks for CHF 50.- all included. We were tempted by a beef carpaccio as a starter, a beef steak on slate and dessert. The staff is super welcoming and very responsive. Definitely a very good address!

Friendly and responsive staff, quality food, the meat is cooked to perfection! For my part I take the blue horse steak. And I was not disappointed. I recommend this place, especially in summer where there is a magnificent terrace with breathtaking views of the lake.

Always a busy place, the Skipper is one of the best food options in the area. We had a Steak ardoise menu, which came with 2 very good pieces of meat. Staff is very friendly. Ensure to reserve!

I got some “pizzas” to go. I don't recommend it anyway. Industrial pizza dough and very poor quality ingredients (canned mushrooms even though it is so easy to cut a mushroom, Migros pizza dough, etc.) and very small size. You really have to have low taste expectations to be happy to have paid for it…

Beautiful place, beautiful terrace, welcoming setting. On the other hand, this restaurant does not deserve the name of pizzeria because they are of mediocre quality with a touch that seems to me to be industrial as well as very low quality toppings. In short, I asked for a pizza from the “skipper” house which was not very appetizing and had no taste unless you added pepper and spicy oil. I won't go back there despite the nice menu. Small restaurant with an imposing bar where the regulars happily lean on their elbows to stare at you when you arrive. Once welcomed, you will discover a nice little room before arriving on a large terrace overlooking the lake, just magnificent.

The meals are quite good, however I give 1 star 🌟 because you have to bring a sleeping bag between each service because it's so slow!

We had a wonderful evening, everything was perfect! Our dishes were divine, the perch fillets (from the lake!), the horse steak cooked perfectly...We had a great time.👍😃 We had a lovely table at the bottom of the garden with a magnificent view overlooking the lake. The menu is well stocked with lots of choice. I really recommend this restaurant, excellent value for money.

Pretty terrace with a beautiful view but the interior and the front are so so...well the main thing was that it was good...the best accras I've eaten in a long time...perch fillets in small or big version ( alas not from the lake but who still serves it today except in gastronomy?) well made and slate with vegetables to grill that's a change it was good too and tartare in the rules of the art...(i.e. without ketchup ... phew we are saved because I personally find that it is heresy) in short, go ahead and enjoy the app!

What to say..... This restaurant was sold to me as a must-see in the region.... Reception quite cold to start but it's still okay. When choosing, already 15 minutes of waiting to drink an aperitif, the waiter leaves for 15 minutes... and takes us for granted when we tell him that the menu displayed on the internet is not the same as in front of us. Very long service, almost 2h30 for the entire meal. I ask for pasta with the meat and they bring me fries and when I kindly ask for a change the waiter complains. The pierrade had become cold and was no longer cooking, we asked for one more, once again we felt like we were disturbing and the waiter even told us that he had already come to change them when that was absolutely not true. To finish, almost 30 minutes of waiting before we were offered a dessert, fortunately the waitress was very friendly compared to 80% of her unfriendly colleagues. And the cherry cake and raw ham went from 17.- to 23.-! It went up as quickly as gasoline. At 10:08 p.m. they brought us the bill, we felt like we were being chased away. In short, apart from the setting and the fact that we didn't eat that badly... really not great and disappointed with the welcome.

Huge scandal, filthy sauces, unable to follow the “no salt” instructions on the fries. Cold grilling stones 2x. Unfriendly waiter, unpleasant as hell. I was on the verge of leaving without paying. A star is still very well paid. Very slow service, an hour and a quarter to be served. Expensive and inedible and sick after my friend's octopus.

Do not be fooled by the entrance to the restaurant which could suggest a place of interest. The terrace is pleasant with a superb view of the lake and the Alps, and even if the field of vision is not very wide, it is worth the detour. As for the cuisine, everyone was satisfied with their meal, from the perch fillets to the beef on slate, including the pizzas.

Very well eaten, 4 people delighted with the quality of the food, but lack of organization. We had to call the sommelier at least 10 times to come and take our orders and always the same answer (I'm coming).. ... it is absolutely necessary to review the service. I recommend this restaurant for good food. the somelier is not nice. 4 people disappointed.
