This was the stopover for the ride out at the major Appenzell biker event in June 23. The view was wide, quiet, beautiful. I wasn't in the restaurant itself - the sponsors of the event provided free drinks and free beavers outside to fortify us.

The location and view are undisputedly top! Unfortunately we were not satisfied with the service. We were there for a celebration with friends. Although we were assured by phone, we were told that no Rösti would be served on Sunday. We ordered cheese croissants for the children, but unlike the adults, they received a very small portion. Our hunger was not satisfied and we wanted to order more, but were told they had run out of croissants. For us, it was a celebration with an unfortunately bitter aftertaste. Nobody really seemed to be interested in the hygiene measures in times of Covid either. Very unfortunate.
