Excellent. Good value for money (considering the prices in Geneva). The place is beautiful and is in a very picturesque area. Good place to eat a fondue but also lighter and quality dishes.

I found the steak I ate amazing. But the service could be nicer and happier so we clients can feel more welcome.

The decoration is superb! Each room in the restaurant has a different theme (chalet, Middle Ages, etc.). Given that it is placed in the old medieval village, it puts us in a certain warm atmosphere. He knew how to keep this authentic spirit by immersing us in the knights! The half and half cheese fondue is excellent. I recommend ! Tip: book at least 2 days in advance.

Best restaurant in my opinion in Geneva... It is no coincidence that it is frequented by VIPs. I've shot several...but this one comes first! Excellent quality food, fondue etc. You have to book... though

This typical restaurant in Geneva downtown is a must to enjoy the high quality cuisine as well as the cosy atmosphere. Raclette was really delicate. Highly recommend!

They got the order a bit wrong but then fixed it. Food was good We had to sit outside and there were no heaters but there are blankets

It is very crowded especially in the evenings, I recommend you not to go without a reservation. cramped tables next to each other but very good for traditional local food. A good choice for potato rösti, traditional sausage, fish and fondue. The prices are a little higher, but for the service and taste you get, it is a restaurant you can visit in Geneva conditions.

Has a cozy chalet vibe and central location. The service was prompt and friendly, and while the traditional Swiss dishes weren’t out of the ordinary, they were delicious and well-prepared. A great spot for a taste of Switzerland in the city’s heart.

Very good address, I recommend. We had the blue cheese fondue and the charcuterie, it was incredible. The wine is good and the service is great!

Very good service and attention from Thai, very professional. The atmosphere is pleasant and charming. The food was very good, the 2 cheese fondue was spectacular. It is not expensive compared to the rest of the restaurants.

Book a table in advance. Or, show up on a whim and cross your fingers. I was lucky and got a seat at the bar even though they were fully booked. The fondue is amazing… I can’t imagine any better fondue! Get the half and half. Excellent wine. And, friendly staff too! 💕

Very bad service. We ordered bread three times, no one brought it, and when we raised to the waiter, he laughed. We also had to order the drinks twice too, after 40min when they brought the food but no drinks. Very small portions for the price. No recommended at all

Magnificent setting and atmosphere, with *5 ⭐️ star* service, in addition to being warm and friendly. The meal was excellent and served quickly. We really liked it and we will come back. Prices a little higher, but still OK. This restaurant is worth a visit and I highly recommend it.

I found this restaurant to be a must-visit in Geneva. It was one of the best fondues I've ever had in my life! The decor of the room is beautiful and cozy. It is located in an old part of the city, very charming. The service really isn't very attentive. But don't take that into consideration. Get more attached to the food combined with the wine and the experience in general!

It's not easy to find a restaurant open on Sunday lunch in Geneva. So we came across this one by chance and we didn't regret it. Top fondue, excellent welcome and warm atmosphere.

4.8 I've now been to Restaurant Les Armures 3 times and each time I've discovered something different and delightful. I enjoy the cozy, buzzy, warm atmosphere. The waiters in convivial chats with each other or long time customers. Yes, it is a tourist spot yet it is welcoming to all and it clearly has a loyal following. The food is so well done, beautifully presented and simply Swiss. From the fondue, to the pork fillet to the amazing lamb shank, each meal has been great. It is on the pricey side, and I think it's worth it. Enjoy if you get a chance.

The best Cheese fondue 🫕 I’ve ever tasted; I also strongly recommend the chicken pasta (penne with white cream, and the Swiss onion soup, and do not forget to end the journey with the delicious Creme brulee. Overall, this Blace is the best Swiss cousin in Geneva👌🏻

We've been wanting to try fondue for a long time. It was the best decision to come here. It is better to book a table in advance, especially if you are coming for lunch. There were three of us, we were advised to take three types of fondue. Potatoes were unnecessary for us; we didn’t eat them. Be careful, a bottle of graded water costs 15 francs. Desserts are good

Nice restaurant in the center of the Geneva old town. Space is cozy, food is great and typical Swiss. The fondue is amazing with either mushroom or blue cheese added. Desert is ok but not really a highlight though.

We came today at noon. Jérôme who served us was beyond incredible. I was going to notify the manager but I preferred to take his name and put him in the spotlight in this comment. It has become rare to come across people who care about making you feel comfortable and caring. I watched him take care of these tables and each person there, including us, with particular joy, speed, respect, and attention. Dear Jérôme, the armor fondue is always delicious but you made the time we spent in your restaurant absolutely perfect! Customers always say when things aren't going well, I wanted to do the same if it wasn't. A thousand thanks ! 20/10!

They’re most famous for their fondue but I visited this place with friends in September, so we opted for other dishes. I tried their filet de truite, which was cooked perfectly and the lemon sauce served on the side was quite delicious. Overall we had a great experience. It’s a very nice restaurant to take your friends/family visiting Geneva

We reserved a table for a family dinner and despite being half an hour late the staff were cooperative and held our reservation. On site the service was fast and the servers were smiling and warm, as was the interior and exterior decoration of the restaurant. The menu was varied and the prices reasonable. We opted for the half-and-half fondue, composed of Vacherin and Gruyère. It was a treat! For dessert, the apple pie was very good. This first experience at Les Armures restaurant was excellent and I highly recommend it.

Reservation is required. The rosti and bread are very delicious. Fondue is just so-so to my taste... haha

Loved this restaurant. Great selection of Swiss and French dishes. Baby potatoes dipped in cheese fondue with mushrooms were delicious but beware, it fills you up very quickly leaving no room for dessert!

Very cozy and authentic restaurant in the heart of old Town. The atmosphere is great, warm and friendly. A definite place to go with your family and friends. The food is excellent and so is the warmth around it. The service is good too. The restaurant has a restroom also. Tip would be to book a table in advance, otherwise you might have to wait.

Warm chalet and good service. Quality fondue but too little in quantity, we are left hungry, after a fondue... Same for dessert, a very mini chocolate mousse, a single meringue.. Good for quality but expensive for quantity..

Definitely a place to visit for good traditional Swiss food. We had the cheese fondue with mushroom and bacon, the assorted meat platter, and an apple tart for dessert! Not a cheap place but worth it.

Super classical Swiss environment. Food was excellent. Very Swiss menu. Enjoyed the lamb leg and beef steak. Onion soup was very cheesy and rich. Very nice ambiance. Would recommend for a cute couples dinner or birthday celebration.

Nothing more. Dishes not up to par with the place. Sanitized cuisine, neither bad nor good, without real taste. No pleasure but no frustration....mediocre indeed. Homemade desserts but identical to the dishes. The cold meats are not of good quality. Price does not correlate with what is on the plate. The good marks are given by tourists (seventy percent of the clientele to use the words of the waiter, who, you will have understood, does not adapt to Switzerland) who do not know what a good Swiss dish! Profitability requires, you eat at 7 on a table of 4. Correct service by French people who still have to learn how to say certain numbers in Switzerland. Well decorated. To avoid!

Cosy and well -decorated restaurant . Kind and professional staff . I appreciated la Fondue and the Rösti . The dessert was just yummy : Crème Brûlée and Mousse au Chocolat . Highly recommend ! NB: Gluten-free option available

One time I liked the cheese fondue and soup I sat in the outdoor sessions because the internal sessions are very quiet.

US travelers BEWARE! this was the worst dining experience I've ever had traveling internationally. From the time I sat down with my beautiful date we were harassed by the table 1 ft away from us. The guest was screaming hysterically in French the entire dinner and noticed my date was very sad. Finally when I asked what was wrong she told me he had been calling her B word in french out loud to the entire restaurant. Surely the staff could hear and did nothing. I turned away my final glass of wine and instead chose to leave. We were excited to try the fondue and went out of our way to get a reservation and have never been so humiliated in our lives. They continued to harass us outside when we left while waiting for a taxi. Very unsafe and dangerous environment for US travelers - stay away is my recommendation.

This restaurant has earned its high ratings for good reason. They serve delicious local dishes made with quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. If you're a beer lover, they also offer an excellent selection of draught options. It's a solid choice for your first Swiss dining experience.

Fantastic introduction to traditional Swiss cuisine. Situated in the very heart of old Geneva town, this may be the best restaurant to have a Swiss fare and actually enjoy it. The restaurant, part of a hotel, is super cozy and has a great atmosphère…. Though I have to note the whole place REEKS of liquified cheese. The seasonal chef specials were outstanding. Best chestnut soup I have ever had. Fresh deer carpaccio very good. Absolutely delicious wild boar fillet (wine sauce, steamed Brussels sprouts, chestnuts). Swiss and some international wine selection available. Service was exceptional. Efficient, friendly, helpful and spot on with wine suggestions. A very rare thing In the city. Prices are steep, but you the experience is worth it. Highly recommended!

What a great experience! The wild boar and venison were excellent and the dessert was the best meringue I have ever had. It's best to book in advance, as there are already many people at noon on weekdays.

This place, this Restaurant is and will remain La Classe. From reception, to service and departure, professional behavior. High-end politeness and attention. A rich and varied menu. Good soundproofing. And of course a truly local setting, but also a touch of refinement.

Everything was great. While we waited outside for the queue, the hostess greeted us with a small glass of hot wine with oranges. The dish was excellent and the waiters are very experienced. We ordered one portion of swiss onion soup and one portion of fondue and the waited splitted and explained by himself. Highly recommend this restaurant. 10/10 stars

Absolute must! Very cozy and “fancy”, not expensive for the quality of service. You definitely need a reservation. The fondue is fine, local red wine and desserts are fantastic. I didn’t like how the local perch fish was cooked - it looked frozen and then thawed.

Located in the top centre of the old city of Geneva, the restaurant offers a typical swiss meals like Raclette, Rosti and Fondue and other interesting dishes. Tried the Raclette, the Fondue and a deer meet, a local wine and I was delighted by all of them. Keep in mind that you will need a reservation if you want to visit the place at the weekend.

Even though I went alone without a reservation, they informed me of available times and showed me a seat right away. It was easy to make eye contact with the staff and requests were received quickly. From the drinks to the menu, it didn't take long and was prepared quickly, and a staff member who was passing by to serve another table noticed that the fire in my fondue bowl had gone out and even lit it. Since it was my first time eating fondue, they kindly explained to me how big I should cut the bread into pieces and to slice or mash the potatoes and mix them with the cheese and eat them with a ladle. The other menus looked very delicious, but I had to eat quickly and go to Montreux, so I was disappointed that I didn't have enough time to enjoy many of the menu items.

Very good restaurant, I was not disappointed with the Fondue for an affordable price in Geneva (cheaper than in some places in France) I will come back to taste other dishes

Went with my wife to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Arrived 30 mins early but not a problem we're very much looked after and seated immediately. Staff were fabulous and happily spoke English rather than let us struggle with our rusty French. Food was fantastic, one of the finest we've had in years. Would love to visit again and can 100% recommend.

The best fondue in Geneva and the surrounding area!! We tried the boletus fondue, a treat. Very professional and friendly staff. Traditional and warm decoration. We will come back with pleasure.

This is the worst and most overpriced restaurant we have ever gone to. Skip this place unless you want to grossly over pay for potatoes and a piece of dried meat and on top of that be overlooked. McDonald’s would have been better. The server (mustache man) was extremely rude and had attitude. He blatantly ignored us several times and just didn’t bring us what we asked for. He would serve everyone else just fine but gave us an attitude unsure if it’s because we were tourists or if it was because he was a racist and we are not white. His tone and attitude was extremely applauding and we left with a bad taste in our mouths from the meal and service. So stay away!

I loved the place! But yes or yes you have to have a reservation. It gets very crowded and if you arrive without one, you won't be able to find a place. We ordered the 100% recommended Moitié Moitié Fondue with a charcuterie plate. For dessert, tarte tatin. Only the service was not the best, they are a bit hostile.
