The Brasserie des Cerniers is a magnificent place, tastefully renovated. On the other hand, the kitchen is by far not up to the standard. We were a group of 7 at lunchtime, and we were looking forward to eating simple but tasty dishes after a walk. The forest crusts are a disaster, thick and dry bread, sprinkled with cheese and a few mushrooms, dry, no sauce. A few grams of cheese and mushrooms, and a salad served directly on the serving platter, that's very little for a lot of money. The fondue was served, with pieces of cheese not melted: we had to return it to the kitchen to finish its preparation, without any apology. We chose WhitePod's restaurant (Les Cerniers) for our third wedding anniversary, hoping for a memorable experience. Unfortunately the dinner did not live up to our expectations, although the breakfast was outstanding. For our dinner we had requested a non-alcoholic fondue due to my health restrictions. However, the dish served was of poor quality. After several attempts to correct it, the fondue remained inedible. What was particularly disappointing was the staff's response to our situation, simply offering a 20% discount on fondue and a small dessert. I would like to clarify that payment was never an issue. I would have happily paid more for a satisfying meal. We were just looking to enjoy a nice dinner and a nice evening. Luckily the breakfast buffet the next morning was a great experience. The variety and quality of food served was excellent, and the service was impeccable. As a regular customer of many restaurants, I am accustomed to a certain quality, and unfortunately the dinner set a new standard of disappointment. However, breakfast was a bright spot in our overall experience. I hope our feedback will help improve the experience for future customers.

Magnificent setting and very warm restaurant. After a welcome with a welcome drink (included in the room), we ordered 2 Valais planchettes (24.- each) with very ungenerous quantities. We had to call on the waiters to take our order as they were busy with a table of 12 people… 3 Burgers (32.-) and a poultry supreme (39.-) which arrive completely cold (mushrooms, bread, ground steak whether rare or medium..., chicken thigh, polenta, even the plate. ) The salad had no sauce... We are not used to returning plates but this was not acceptable. The waiters seemed not to be surprised by this situation. They come back just a few minutes later with microwaved plates and fewer garnishes… The waiter barely apologizes and clears our dishes, asking if it was the starter… Finally, we refuse to have dessert and ask for the bill. They bring us digestives and joke: 'this time it's normal for it to be cold...' The Whitepod staff offered us the meal during check-out and we thank them for their gesture.

We went up for a BBQ lunch as advertised to see a very poor choice of 5 basic salads, NO Side dishes😤 My husband doesn’t eat any salads or sauces It was not even possible to order potatoes or pasta 🤔 ( I didn’t understand why as it wasn’t even busy!?) Very greasy fish Skewers & sausages🫤 reconstructed meat for porc brochettes 🙄 Everything was cooked prior and only reheated on the plancha 😐 Thank god they had an apricot tart for dessert as they had made chocolate mousse and made 2 different desserts with this tasteless mass 😑 The waiter was very kind and apologetic about the whole situation It’s seriously not worth going there.

Lovely location with great views not be missed. Food was prepared with a lot of attention to aesthetics, but sadly the taste of different plates was a bit hit and miss. Local wine we tried to accompany dinner was very acidic / vinegary. Perhaps it was just bad luck although the bottle had just been opened. To avoid ! Everything we ate was bland. We were only served soft dishes, without substance. The dessert, a sort of tasteless white mousse, cost 23CHF! The wine was extremely expensive for what it was. The worst was when we were served a grilled pigeon leg (with the claws). Two of us had to put our napkins on the plate to keep from throwing up. Clearly this place is absolutely not worth visiting. The next day we went down to eat at McDonald's and it was much better than this place. There were four of us and we all had the same opinion.

AMAZING SERVICE & FOOD! I came here along my sister and mom for my mom’s birthday dinner. Askar welcomed us and put on the cheminé where we started with a glass of champagne. He was very welcoming & gave us a great breakdown of the menu before he sat us down on our wonderful table situated by the window. Also Dimitri and Laura were so amazing, and the 3 of them even came with an amazing chocolate cake with candle and sang “Joyeux Anniversaire” for my mom. It was an amazing experience and the snowy mountain views were breathtaking. I can definitely recommend this restaurant & we will be back soon again. Merci meeci merci!!

Extraordinary, in ten years in living in Switzerland, this is the best restaurant by far. The first thing you notice is that the staff is genuinely super respectful and helpful in every way. The food is superb, very tasty, balanced and original. The prices are very reasonable and they always offer more and do not charge anything additional. All of this is all the more amazing considering it is in a remote resort that could have gotten away with doing a mediocre job in any of all of the things above.
