Les Fils Maye SA in Riddes

So the place I don't know but we just opened 2 bottles of Heldenblut red (Dôle) and it ended up in the sink. Bouuuu Almost undrinkable wine (at least for us) (acidic acre… hello stomach) Wine way too expensive for that. And yet one person with us is in good catering... Dsl but I in any case do not recommend this wine and this bottle

The Fils Maye wine library is a popular stopover between Sion and Martigny. I have a weakness for their 'Clos de Balavaud' range, particularly their Syrah or Pinot Noir. Grangousieur goes perfectly with fondue or raclette. The wine library offers themed evenings like here for Valentine's Day with wine/chocolate blends!

Great welcome on arrival. Very nice wine list. Small problem, while we were installed on the covered terrace, my friend sat at the entrance to smoke a cigarette. The person doing the service got angry at him because not only was smoking prohibited on the covered terrace and he also set off the bell which informed that a customer had entered, which disrupted the service even though we were the only ones consumers

Pleasant place, very well received, we were able to enjoy 2 well-filled dishes. Thanks to the people who work there. Your smiles and your sympathy make us want to come back to you. I didn't give it a 5 because the tables and chairs are high, which may not pose a problem for young and flexible people, but quite serious difficulties for people with disabilities or joint difficulties.

Too bad, beautiful cellar, however since the change of management, there is no longer a need for customers, promises not kept, etc. This is called “restructuring”!
