Price is ridiculous, no tap water, no fries or sides included with the burger. The self service before this place was much better

Food was okay but service wasn't.

The place is not good at serving customers. I had to wait an hour for a simple order (burger + cola). People around me are a bit pissed off because they don't tell me what the waiting time is. The burger I received was uncooked and raw. I do not recommend.

It took very long before we could order, even though it was far from crowded when we came. Several of the things we ordered we didn’t get. The burger was red all the way through.

Very nice service. The food is excellent, despite the location - in the heart of the mountains, far from any city - the dishes are delicious and prepared like in the best burger restaurants. The service is efficient, but as it is the only restaurant in the area in the middle of one of the best ski resorts in Switzerland, during the peak season you have to take into account queues and extended waiting times. I highly recommend.

Very disappointing experience. The atmosphere inside boded well, however. 1 hour wait for 2 burgers, frankly, nothing justified such a wait. Considering the other reviews this is not an isolated case but rather a generality. Plus the waiters didn't even remember our order because they had lost the ticket, pitiful... The burgers are good but nothing crazy either (a little expensive for what it is) on the other hand the sweet potato fries are really good. I really don't recommend this establishment, once they have no more people maybe they will take the trouble. Following our complaint, they still offered us a drink.

We waited for over 20 minutes and no-one helped us or even asked for drinks or food. When we told a server that it took too long and that we were leaving he just said “okay bye”. Bad service would not recommend the restaurant.

I don't get bad reviews of this place - we were seated immediately, the food was served pretty fast, plus it was good! Burger was all about the meat - simple and tasty. Chicken tenders were also good and really tender ;) And that's definitely the best beer on Verbier slopes. The place is not cheap, but none of the places around here are.

SATURDAY January 13, 2:30 p.m., blue sky, perfect temperature... the waitress turns us away, telling us it's closed...?!?!? What a good advertisement for our tourists... Restaurant on the slopes closed at the beginning of the afternoon??? Incomprehensible...

My experience at this burger restaurant was disappointing. Not only was the service extremely slow, taking over an hour to wait after ordering to prepare three simple burgers, but the staff were also rude. The quality of the food in no way justified the wait and the unpleasant treatment received. I don't recommend this place.

You queue for 15min and then they tell you kitchen is closed when you’re at the cashier. No warning whatsoever and then they pretend they did. Never again!

Zero organization, the staff is overwhelmed and don’t know what they’re doing. Food is mid. Waste of time and money.

We waited 15 minutes until we were assigned a seat. There were people waiting at the entrance and the staff conscientiously ignored them. Several times someone from the staff came to the desk at the entrance, but simply took something out of the cupboard and left without speaking to those waiting. And then the food didn't taste good either. Not recommended, the young guys who serve there have no decency!

First of all, the service was very long and mediocre with a wait of 30 minutes for tenders which were also cold. The burger was passable but served without fries for 25.- unacceptable. If someone told me that it was a Verbier restaurant, I would have called it a lie. The servers are also not very present and slow in service. However, I had a good stay until I set my right foot in this restaurant. The atmosphere was spoiled by the annoyance I felt for these incompetent employees. And the prices are totally disproportionate compared to the quantity served. 15.- for 4 tenders the size of my thumb, it’s once again an outright scam. The restaurant is getting louder. Do not set a single foot in this place to flee. In addition, the server still hasn't cleared me as I write this text, it's been 20 minutes since we finished. The lack of competence is shocking. Big waste of time and energy.

Disorganised level million… you have to order at the reception but they wouldn’t let us order food right away, we had to order drinks, wait for them, didn’t get exactly what we wanted but whatever… then when we asked were we can order food they told us at the reception… why couldn’t we do it all at once? Immediate regret coming here…

Deplorable service, the waiters are nice but not at all attentive to the customer and totally ineffective. the food is more than average, the burger is good but the tenders and fries arrived cold, this is unacceptable for a restaurant of this size. The price is totally excessive compared to the quantity and quantity of food on the plate 15chf for 3 poor cold tenders, I pass my turn. In addition, we waited more than 30 minutes for the order to finally receive the cold dishes. I will never set foot in this restaurant again, the organization needs to be completely overhauled, it's a shame because there is real potential but the Je Menfoutisme takes precedence over the rest.

As a ski school owner in the 4 Valleys it was extremely disappointing and embarrassing to bring clients to this establishment and end up waiting 1hr and 40 mins for 4 x Caesar salads and 1 x burger. Apparently there was a technical issue with making the salads, however, burgers with salads on the sides was apparently not an issue. Very disappointing!!!

Nice atmosphere, but the meat in the burgers were very undercooked and basically raw, despite everyone at the table asking for the meat to be well done.

I had good memories of last year but this year I strongly advise you to avoid this place! I went there twice in a week, 3 quarters of the menu are not available, the servers are nice but very slow.. It's not my habit to post negative reviews but here... we waited 45 minutes to be served even though the restaurant was half empty.

Sadly this the worst service we have ever had in . Wait for table, wait to order, waited 45 mins for food to arrive. No way will they cope at New Year. Avoid it if you like skiing, wasting a lot of time.

There are easy and modern solutions to your issues! Clearly the service staff cannot catch up on orders and clearing: Use QR codes for orders and payments directly at the table. As you're using plastic bottles, you might as well let people seat themselves. No reason for people to stand in line forever while half the tables are empty. Let the guests coordinate space issues themselves. Please become more flexible. People don't need to learn your concept, you should adapt to the nature of your customer.

So disorganised. It was past the peak first lunch sitting but a massive line at the door and when you get inside, you see half the tables are unoccupied but the person seating people isn't particularly bothered and for the whole time we were there, a long line remained at the door but many tables empty. Waiting staff seemed also quite poor and the whole place seemed to lack the professionalism of the past as it has been very good in previous years. There was a big mix up with our order, salad not available and a lot of confusion then from the waitress on what we could switch the order to. Son's chicken tenders never materialised with the rest of the food and we had to ask 2-3 times before they eventually came. Burgers were quite good but have been better in previous years. NYC burger says with red onion - no red onion in burger. Chicken tenders were not as good as previous years. French fries were bland and looked almost soggy. More confusion when the bill arrived as she had not changed the order on the bill. Eventually I decided not to bother to try to sort it and just paid as we had already been there too long. Perhaps they are struggling to get staff but it used to be so excellent and if it were my business, I'd sort out the queue by seating them at all the empty tables and get decent waiting staff, then everyone is happy, including the owner and the guests. Maybe it is early season getting everything running properly but it wasn't great and not up to standard.

Good food overall. On the other hand, very disappointed with the service. Poorly competent staff. They brought us a burger during the meal that we had not ordered and which we therefore refused; They billed us for it at the end. We have been trying to call them without success since to get a refund…

The burgers are pretty good, imho. Have been here more than once so far. The staff has always been very friendly. Once we didn't get what we ordered but it was replaced without hesitation.

System in line with demand. Even for the snack you have to queue while half the tables are empty. And then you have to wait for someone to come and take the order. For a snack it's average. The old restaurant was much more efficient.

Very good address on the slopes, an alternative to the usual Dahu. The dishes are very, very generous and the prices are extremely attractive for a resort such as Verbier. I recommend for the Quality / Price / Quantity ratio. I recommend a burger with sweet potato fries, with truffle aioli sauce, killer!

We had a good time here, nice setting, excellent food, good music, the staff is smiling and very well organized. One comment however, we were with family, apart from the fries we did not find any dishes very suitable for children

We had a family lunch at Black Tap, we had a great time, a superb atmosphere in this establishment, with a special mention for Carmen and Paulo, who were our servers, they are just brilliant, speed, smile all associated with a good meal ... I really recommend this place.

If there is one restaurant on Earth, where I would want to try every single dish, from appetizers to deserts, Black Tap would be the top choice. Fantastic food, very flexible waiters, cool atmosphere, accessible toilets (on the same level). Surprisingly affordable. You won't regret it, even if you wait 30 minutes in line, on a perfect sunny day.

Great restaurant! All the servers are super friendly, they take their time in spite of everyone. The food, nothing to say, just incredible, especially for their milskak!

Racist service. Our friends did not get served because they did not speak any local language. We got told that "they did not serve them on purpose", can you imagine? When we tried to order for our friends, they then were busy... the service lady even said to us, that being friendly is not part of her job. Don't support this, don't go there. There are so many really fantastic restaurants just around with so much more "Swisseness" friendlyness..

The waitress on the terrace was very rude and she literally said that “being nice is not part of her job”. She accused my almost 70 year old mom to sneak in under the fence to the terrace just because she did not have the menu at her hand and she refused to serve my mom (my mom entered through the restaurant and somehow managed to reach the terrace unnoticed by a waiter. Some time later I came by on skis outside and wanted to order food for her because my mom doesn’t speak the local language). The waitress was dismissive and talked in an aggressive way, finalizing by saying that “being nice is not part of her job”. If as the owner of this restaurant I invested a lot in a place like this, I would never hire a waitress who thinks being nice is not part of this job. I won’t ever leave a penny in a place like this. There are other restaurants in this region with an outstanding view, sunny terrace and FRIENDLY service.

Hamburgers for 17 bucks (fries and drink apart) that are easy to eat but are still a hamburger. They also have eccentric shakes.

It used to be a cozy ski restaurant with a brilliant sun terrace to enjoy, great interior and simple, good food. Unfortunately, since a change there is nothing left of it and everything is just chic and fancy. Not even the cozy sun terrace remained! Thank goodness there are other normal restaurants in the area...

Beautiful dome restaurant, where you have to queue to get inside. Excellent burgers and chicken wings and a special Brooklyn IPA.

By systematically targeting the “fancy” clientele you are neglecting some of Verbier’s skiers.

I could hardly imagine a worse service, despite the ok place

Not the most veggie friendly place, but it's a burger bar so that's to be expected. The only desserts are milk shakes and there are no non dairy milk options for coffee. No real point stopping here just for a quick break and bite.

Total disorganization, completely overwhelmed, promised 10 minutes of waiting 20 in reality but to tell us that they were no longer making food. Manager offered a drink and a smoothie to apologize, a gesture appreciated but a little stingy! Unworthy of a resort like Verbier.

Went there twice, the first time there were no more milkshakes and the second time the kitchen closed right in front of us at 2:20 p.m. Both times the reception from the staff was unfriendly and probably overwhelmed. Disappointing, definitely not recommended.

Belligerent and rude manager. Refused to let us order food even though we arrived 10 minutes before they stopped serving. They also seem to lock the entrance door a good 1hr before closing.

Great scran, call it the rise of scranit xhaka. Making me act up, doing the Haka. Paul is tekky, call him bukayo saka, Truly a goat, the swiss Kaka Special mention to our waiter Paul, who, as he is a God, had summoned our food to appear on our table as soon as we sat down. All my problems instantly disappeared after my encounter with him, he is a surreal. Truly a great experience for any culinary scientist. I have written a short poem about him. Paul you are powerful like the authorities, But still did you treat me like your priority. The food is great, I definitely rate.

We accidentally walked into the wrong door and quickly took a table but were quite ruthlessly told to use the main door which was fair enough as we didn’t see the line coming from the other door. Ignoring the confusing start a gastronomic experience unlike no other followed. We were served by a waiter Paul who was so nice I would invite him to my wedding after todays interaction. We ordered two portions of wings, chips and four burgers and we are still sitting in the restaurant in a food coma. Finally I would to conclude with special mention to Paul. If one was to tell me that Paul was a direct descendent of Hermes the messenger god I would not think twice. The guy must have bionic oven-built-in hands and winged feet because the food came so warm and so fast. This is a truthful and honest review

Excellent. No Reservations. They take orders for food shortly befor 12 o'clock. If you want a table for sure be there at 11.40 so you don't have to wait 40 mins.

First off the food was banging. Then we get to Paul, probably one of the best servers ive ever had. I would not be surprised if he was telepathic. If i was to describe the greatest waiter of all time, Paul would be the spitting image.

This restaurant famously closes at 15:30 in order to coordinate with the slopes closing. Nevertheless they use such excuse to hide behind their incredible disorganization. The manager was rude from the beginning, threatening us that we would have to wait at least 1hr... The result being it was a 30 minutes experience... But let's get there : 1. We were in time but asked to leave 2. After some convincing, we finally got a table 3. It was extremely painful to get the order 4. The food was raw & burned, a great combination to manage 3 stomach illness 5. We explicitly got asked to tip I love Verbier and what it represents: an umbelievable place where People share experiences in some of the most incredibile scenarios. This place clearly does not represent that :) Next time you want a burger just go down to Ruinettes and head to the Ice Cube you will never have such a surprise

One of the worst experiences on the slopes of my life. This restaurant is disrespectful and doesn’t have a big sense of humanity, for example being at 3000m altitude and not letting you inside for a little break from the cold with little kids, “because the service has started and you can only seat outside if you get stuff from the bar”… I mean this is a bit too pretentious and some very bad organisation

The burgers are unbelievably good. The service was swift and for the fact that the restaurant is located at the top of a mountain the prices are quite reasonable. They offer vegeterian and vegan options.

Nice restaurant, comfortably furnished. Reception staff unfriendly. The burger was a disappointment. Most of the meat was completely raw and the patties were soggy. Plus unseasoned. A disaster for a burger restaurant. I would have expected more, especially at these prices.

I went to this place with my family last winter. The food was great, although quite pricey and we had to wait quite a long time to receive our food. Staff were friendly. The main reason I'm giving it a 3 star is because of the music playing. It was loud and 100% EXPLICIT - definitely not for little ones' ears. One of our group asked a staff member to change the music but was told that it was a playlist supplied by the company and could not be changed. Do not recommend this place for people with young kids.

An incredible place at almost 3000m altitude, a stone's throw from the glacier, just below Mont Fort. Copious plates, really good burgers and fries, wide choice of draft beers, including a local one. Very nice waitresses. I went up in the cable cars, then I came back down on foot in about 3 hours, it's not easy if you go all the way back down to Verbier, but you can pick up the cable cars at two different places if you have tired children for example, or simply tired legs.

The food was superb, one of the best I had while skiing in verbier. The all charm was destroyed by one of the staff who stopped me at the door and rudely almost aggressively told me I cannot go inside when I ordered outside even my food was waiting for me inside. I was so confused and he seemed crossed at me. This event completely destroyed the experience for me.

Execrable welcome, unbearable music and untested food: the place having been closed for unknown reasons during opening hours. Gone are the days when we found ourselves in Gentiane in a family, quiet and welcoming place. So not recommended!
