We mainly go there for the great atmosphere and the cocktails, a place with a great decor.

Several of us went there, we chose an aperitif dinner, nothing exceptional. Apart from the diction which was quite expensive 119 francs per person. With the music playing quite loudly, it was difficult to hear us. For me it was a first time. But also one last.

Manu sends us away because they close, but 30 seconds later they let other people in. Racism ? Classism? I don't know but what is certain is that I will never come and spend my money there again

The restaurant is aptly named given the server we had. He ruined our evening. Disrespect, I've never been spoken to like that. Very rude, a dirty attitude while on top of that he blames us for professional misconduct. Never seen!

I regularly passed by and this place intrigued me… Great discovery! The employees are just great and the food is delicious! There’s even a “pee lady”! So always perfect toilets! The only small problem but it’s very personal… the atmosphere is sick but it makes it hard to chat with your neighbors 😛

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. We came here super excited and our vibe was completely killed after receiving our food and the service associated with it. We ordered a margarita pizza which was okay and also chicken ceasar salad WHICH we asked for no anchovies (because my friend has a fish allergy) in the dressing which our server said he could do. We then got a salad with no dressing and just balsamic/vinegar in the side which literally was disgusting. We tried talking to the manager and our server who seemed like he was going to resolve it and they literally just walked away and never came back to our table. Not to mention how disrespectful it was to see our server bringing bottle service to the table next to us in an Indian headdress/outfit making animal noises. Absolutely disgusting to watch this happen.

Very disappointing.. Our reservation had already not been noted, but with luck we were able to get a table. The aperitif served at the same time as our main course.. as usual the pizza oven was broken..salad at 27 chf very small..to round it all off, the waiter ran after us all the way outside to tell us that '13 chf is missing, he himself hadn't calculated how much we had to pay..in short I won't go anymore, the place has changed a lot...

I have rarely in my entire life been so poorly served and welcomed. The lady at the reception, Madame "seventy".. has nothing to do in this place. She is haughty and disrespectful. A landmark for Instagrammers. For the real side, go your way.

The setting is very beautiful, but some of the dishes arrived cold and it is very expensive for a quality that unfortunately does not match...

Very disappointed with this establishment, the prices are overpriced compared to a certainly good burger but at 34 francs we hope that it is bigger and especially for the "hungry" version a bit more expensive but not much bigger it is excessive !! The beers present are not all there accordingly and neither are the desserts, I think that in the future reviewing the quantities would be a good thing. The small (tiny) glass of Diplomatico at 25 francs each is borderline dishonest. The other prices of the dishes are totally disproportionate (the pizzas for example, it's overrated and not necessarily better compared to the other restaurants I've frequented. 15 francs per spritz at your place, in Venice the spritzes in certain neighborhoods are a lot cheaper. At some point you have to stop taking customers for bulls and respect them at the same time.

The food was amazing!!! We had the smoked pizza, red tuna and grilled octopus. There was such a vibe. Manu was the best waiter on site. Made sure we were taken care of. Food came out fairly quick. At 10 pm the vibe changes from dinner to going out. The lights get low the music and smoke machine start on. What an Amazing night in Geneva!!! Thank you so much Manu! For what an amazing night

We celebrated a friend's birthday last night at Sales Gosses. Although we found the service efficient, we found the quality-quantity-price ratio to be quite poor. The quantities are small and the prices substantial - more expensive than those offered by Brasserie LIPP (bistronomic restaurant!) for certain dishes. The dishes are not exceptional in terms of taste either and some of the accompaniments seem to be frozen. As for the ambiance, it's difficult to hear yourself talking because of the restaurant's background music. From 11 p.m., the sound gets louder and we have the feeling of being in a nightclub and not in a restaurant or bar, which is quite unusual and not very pleasant.

I recently had the opportunity to make my first outing to Salles Gosses as part of a birthday celebration. I had so many expectations given the reputation of the establishment so my disappointment is great. The rather small menu is not a problem but the unavailability of dishes is. The service was slightly neglected, probably due to understaffing and unfriendly servers, probably due to stress. The music shouldn't be this loud until the end of the service, we can barely hear each other before we've even been served dessert. The burger was good but not incredible, however I recommend the scallop carpaccio.

Long waits to eat in a smoky atmosphere, squeezed together at a table on a covered and closed terrace (with smokers), dishes arrived cold and of average quality (no side dish, bagged salad), forgetting to order, no possibility of going out without getting customers up...and expensive for the service. In short, the second experience is similar to the first. Nice setting though.

Coming from Alsace, we discovered this magnificent place thanks to his friends. There you will find quality service and a magnificent place where the atmosphere is fiery! The DJs provide trendy and rhythmic music and the clientele is of all ages and classes. The boss showed us the terrace, wow, everything is perfect!!! Now we have or will come to spend beautiful evenings when we are in the sector 😉

A very happening place in the evening. Food is okish.

I find it very regrettable that management is now imposing on customers; even accustomed to giving “a bank loan” in order to make a reservation. We are asked to pay 700 francs to make a reservation. Children's theaters are unfortunately victims of their success; already that the prices are blithely excessive and the service quite average; here is a new subterfuge that the owners have found to raise as much money as possible (with a smile). I recommend to Genevans who do not wish to be robbed; to choose an alternative to this restaurant which has become a money factory (at Piaf for example)

Came and ... distributed running. What a pity ! I was delighted to discover this place. Nice setting. Very professional service... but: Everything is very, and therefore too, expensive. The music is not the work of a DJ but a soundtrack with 1 singer, who sorry, but doesn't really sing well. And 1 saxophonist. The restaurant was full. It's great. But the concept didn't suit me at all.

Very big disappointment! I have had the pleasure of frequenting many restaurants around the world and what a great sadness to see that this one, in the heart of the city where I was born, has so many bad points... after reading the others opinion, I note that the owner responds firmly that he nevertheless places the emphasis [I quote] on quality and warm service... These notions have not, however, flared up today; I went to this establishment for a meal between two training sessions with a colleague. We were offered a daily menu which we thought was tasty. We simply asked if it was possible to replace the fries with vegetables, to which we were told in the affirmative. Then, we gave our wishes for cooking the meat... In the meantime we receive our drinks, a Coke and a mint tea in a half-filled teapot... Our two dishes then arrive accompanied by fries and WITHOUT vegetables, both with different cooking methods than what we had requested. My colleague gives up and decides to accept her plate, leaving aside the fries and counting on a new addition of vegetables. For my part, I do not accept my overcooked meat by asking the waiter to please serve me what I asked for. It took over 20 minutes for me to get a plate STILL without vegetables, but with a NEW portion of fries! 🤣 There I ask the waiter if it's a joke, to which he replies that I can keep my fries (unwanted from the start, I emphasize) and that he will bring me some vegetables... In short, race results: I did not eat in the company of my colleague, but at a different time. I thought it was a hidden camera because the organization of the three servers is so difficult to see. We paid for half a deciliter of hot water and three mint leaves for 5 CHF accompanied by a Coke for 7 CHF!!!!!!!😱 (A nightclub price... at noon on the daily special , it's original !) And finally, we received no polite gestures or a "sorry ladies for ruining your meal". What is the name of the restaurant? The dirty kids? We couldn't say it better!...

The meal was good but run away if you want to go out in a good atmosphere afterwards! The customers are unbearable, we were insulted, pushed around on purpose and no one did anything! Security guards absent! Run away!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Les Sales Gosses restaurant in Geneva, and it was more than just a culinary experience, it was a real celebration! Very nice place, the food was excellent, the servers very friendly. The only negative point is the high price of alcohol.

Good food. Compared to the promise of the site, which described a restaurant with atmosphere and DJ, we were very disappointed. No music, the general atmosphere was sad.

Much too expensive for what it is! I wouldn't judge the atmosphere because we were on the terrace. 32 and 36 CHF for burgers without any originality with ordinary products and a tasteless sauce... 45 CHF for a board with supermarket products that look like they came straight from the freezer (mini burgers, rostis, yakitoris and shrimp fritters)... 15 minutes to wait for the bill... For this price there are much better options in Geneva.

“Party place” apparently not in summer, I expected to have music and atmosphere but they don't play music in summer. Too bad not to specify it on the site. Otherwise the waiters are friendly and professional, the food is ok but the menu does not change from 2/3 of the other restaurants in Geneva. Concerning the cocktails: I do not recommend them because they are not worth their price, they have a low alcohol content (19.- to have the impression of drinking fruit juice). I might come back in winter for the atmosphere promised on their Instagram.

Great time spent with a group of friends, the food is excellent, great atmosphere and setting. The only downside is the price of the dishes...a little expensive. But experience to relive! I recommend this place from September to June to enjoy the DJ! Dish: The octopus is incredible!

We didn't enjoy the burgers at all & unfortunately don't recommend them! A really high price for little taste, refinement, generosity, interest! It was disappointing! Stuffy, not juicy, not generous as said above.. The fries are thin as we usually love but were cold and soggy once served. A poorly washed (soiled) and oxidized (“brown”) mini salad A scoop of ice cream for 8chf? No thanks!

Amazing Atmosphere!! A truly festive vibe with great personnel always happy to help. It was a surprise for us to see them go above and beyond to entertain their customers. The food was great, especially the carpaccio and the slow-cooked cote de boeuf. A wide selection of wines, not too large, making it easy to select. Two points of improvement, and the reason for not giving 5 stars. Music can be improved in terms of variety and mixing quality. Cocktails could have had a bit more alcohol. Overall a great place to go, have fun and dance until late hours. Will definitely visit again!

The food and drinks were good. I got a pizza which was satisfactory and my friend got the truffle risotto which was very nice, quite salty. The people working there are lovely, always trying to be helpful. I appreciated them. And it has a nice decor, cool lamps, dark.

Very nice restaurant/bar with an indoor room and an outdoor tent. I advise you to book to guarantee yourself a place; it’s often very full! Good food and planchettes, very good cocktails. The atmosphere is inside; if you wanted to be more relaxed, I recommend the tent / terrace. I recommend!

Nice and trendy address. One downside though: the terrace is partitioned off in winter but remains a "smoking" area with ashtrays on all the tables. Maybe we should have been told that when we were placed on this terrace when booking the table over the phone :)

Too much noise, too many people, too much drunkenness all around. Not for me. I hate that. Great setting, and nice cuisine, on the other hand.

We went there on the evening of December 29, 2022. Despite the workload and the crowds there were, the waiter on the covered terrace (a tall, thin guy) was super friendly and very attentive. 1,500.- for a New Year's Eve meal for 5 people and he refused to serve us a beer under the pretext that it was a New Year's Eve evening. The welcome was not very friendly, however our waitress remained professional and friendly.

Rejected on December 31st because it was not in the theme despite the outfit it seems quite correct to me and a reservation made for 4 people at 140.-. * 2 people arriving afterwards with identical outfits but probably knowing the boss entered without problem. Person responsible for security totally disconnected from reality by offering us to stay on the terrace but not being able to eat something that I had never heard of. Establishment to avoid MELON took over.
