Lilienthal in Opfikon

The Lilienthal restaurant offers authentic Italian cuisine with fresh ingredients and delicious recipes. I particularly enjoyed the homemade pasta and the delicious pizza. The service was very friendly and attentive, our waiter helped us choose the food and wine. The cozy ambience with candlelight invites you to linger. The prices are mid-range and absolutely reasonable for the quality offered. Only the portions could be a little larger, but otherwise this restaurant is a clear recommendation for all lovers of Italian cuisine.

Great ambience. Very nice owner and friendly staff. Pizzas are super tasty, like the rest. Prices are absolutely super fair. In summer you can sit comfortably outside on the terrace and enjoy a glass of wine.

The pizza was fantastic, with a really chewy crust that was of the right thickness. Loved the artichokes and mushrooms, and the red pepper went really well with it! Enjoyed the porcini risotto which looked surprisingly plain, but was lovely, with really fresh mushrooms as well! We loved it too. Will head back again! Looking forward!

Good atmosphere, good service. On the other hand, I'm not interested in cooking! We ordered a salad of lamb's lettuce (rampon) with bacon which never came!!! Hence the general rating.

Busy place as it is an option for lunch break for the companies in the area. However service, quality and prices are below average. Clients are not treated equally: women’s portions are smaller than men’s without asking in advance, our starter salads were tiny while the neighbour table was offered much bigger starter salads with more variety of ingredients and bigger portions as well. A portion of lasagna was at CHF 21, tasted extremely salty, was too small and included no beef at all - just a mix of tomato sauce, onion, carrot and super salty cheese. Disappointing for the price.

OMG❗️❗️❗️ABSOLUTELY the best. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. First, the fact that the owner came to our table and welcomed us and chatted for a bit was very nice. When the owner takes the time to speak with you, that means he takes pride in his business, and I truly appreciate it. Now for the food. What else can I say other than it was incredible. The presentation, the quality of the food, and the freshness was outstanding. As for the service, both gentlemen who took care of us were extremely polite and were very professional. I would highly recommend this place. I'd like to say thank you again to the owner and the servers. And also a thank you to the chef. Well done.

Quite nice restaurant in a quiet street where only one bus runs from time to time. However, there is quite a lot of noise from the planes taking off from the airport. It doesn't change the fact that the food is quite good, the atmosphere is good and relaxed. Everything was nice and clean.

It was very late in the night and we were not hungry and just wanted a very light pizza meal. So glad we came across this pizzeria, the service was very friendly, especially the Polish server, she was so welcoming and friendly. The food to my surprise was fantastic, it was so good that we ate two pizzas when we were hardly hungry to eat one slice, leave alone the whole pizza. Has to be the best pizza in that area.

Food is normal, nothing special. Only pizza available at late evening when we visited.

The location just a few minutes from the office is very tempting to eat here again and again. But of course it's not just the location: the food was very good (pizza was great, but the tuna steak was world class today 👌) and the service was friendly and quick... what more could you want 👍

There used to be a lot of hype about this pizzeria. In fact we had to reserve a table and by 12pm the terrace was full. The food came very quickly and the price/performance was good. I found the pizza to be average at best. Unfortunately, one of the waiters was sick, so the service was completely overwhelmed and we had to wait an extremely long time for the bill.

We still enjoyed live music. A beautiful atmosphere with very fine food.

We always enjoy coming back. The food is fantastic! The service is always very friendly and attentive. Regardless of whether it's outside or inside in the summer, the ambience is really nice, we've been there several times with our family or friends and can highly recommend this restaurant. Everyone was always very enthusiastic!

Good Italian restaurant. The menu offers a good selection of Italian dishes. The quality of the food is good. The leaf salad was awesome, the homemade desserts all look pretty good. I was disappointed that the egg in my calzone was hard, not runny like I had hoped. We would have expected a lot more vegetables with my wife's Gamberini - there were only a few cherry tomatoes. The service was good. The waiting time for the main course was a bit long. The prices are reasonable and correspond to the quality.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner here. The Calabrese pizza and Fettuccine All Arrabbiatta e Rucola were perfect. Great service too!

Good Italian cuisine, always friendly service, attractive price-performance ratio. The red house wine is highly recommended, and a red organic wine from France is usually also available by the bottle. Seasonal specialties are often offered. In summer with a large terrace. Homemade lasagna is highly recommended on Thursdays.

Super Restaurant! Haben eine Feier im Nebenraum des Restaurants gehabt. Wir sind von A-Z rundum zufrieden. Die Organisation mit dem Chef war unkompliziert. Er kommt einem sehr entgegen! Super. Konnten sogar einen Abend vorher den Raum dekorieren. Die Vorspeiseplatten waren köstlich! Das Essen hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Die Gäste waren begeistert. Der Service war top! Die Kellner sind jedes Mal äußerst liebenswürdig und sehr zuvorkommend. Das macht mir und meinen Mann bei jedem Besuch rundweg viel Wohlgefallen.Alle Tische wurden anständig gesäubert und die Sitzgelegenheiten waren zutiefst bequem.Die Auswahl der Getränke empfanden mein Mann und ich spitze!Mein Mann und ich finden die Preise auch völlig ok.

Das Lokal ist immer nett und wir hatten da einen schönen Abend.Die Auswahl finde ich dicht gefächert und nach wie vor hat alles rundweg fantastisch geschmeckt, was ich für meinen Teil vor mir serviert erhalten habe.Das Local ist prima einfach zu erreichen! Die gute Verkehrsanbindung macht einen Essenstrip schnell machbar.Die Bedienungen sind jedes Mal sehr nett und sehr verbindlich. Das macht mir bei jedem Besuch richtig viel Freude.

Auf das Gericht und unsere Getränke mussten unsereiner nicht die Bohne lange warten. Das war spitze, da wir an diesem Abend einen riesigen Fressanfall hatten.Durchaus nicht nur das nette Lokal Personal war bei meinem Besuch der absolute Renner, sondern ebenfalls das einzigartige Ambiente.Das Lokal ist tatsächlich sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Keine cheap Deko, stattdessen es war farblich sehr vieles ungemein hübsch auf einander angepasst.Ich finde die Preise auch voll Fair.
