Unfortunately the food was not authentic. One dish was too salty and the second dish was absolutely inedible. (Old fish) The bruschetta are soft like down pillows, the bread wasn't toasted. (Lack of authenticity) The tomato garlic mixture was great for that! The ambience and layout of the restaurant is very nice and some of the waiters are very friendly. Unfortunately ours wasn't very friendly. Despite calmly communicating our dissatisfaction, she did not suggest a solution; instead, she responded defensively and blamed us for the food.

Minestrone was good, seems freshly made. Unfortunately, tomato mozzarella was soaked in bad ready-made sauce. Pizza was good. Service was friendly. Ambience quite loud when it's full.

The Mamma Mia restaurant is in a great location. Has parking in front of the restaurant but also nearby and a 1 minute walk from the Opfikon train station. The food is simply great, the service is great, friendly, well-positioned and tries very hard to make you feel comfortable. It's definitely not a bad idea to do a little facelift within 😉 times, a little more modern but retaining the Italian flair. Kind regards, regular guest

We often visit as a family with two children aged 5/7, usually for lunch. The service is very attentive, friendly and extremely child-friendly. The food is of excellent quality and fairly priced. In addition to the very fine pizza, the food is also highly recommended.

Good Italian cuisine with friendly service

I think the price/performance ratio is absolutely not right. For chicken with pasta for lunch, ask for 32 chf and then another 6 francs for a bit of spinach. Then you won't even be offered a coffee. There are restaurants right next to it that make much better pizzas and cost less. Ambiance is getting old. Play star restaurant but don't deliver. I don't go there anymore.

Very tight seating on the terrace, which is located on the busy street. The pizzas were very tasty, unfortunately the difference in size between the small pizza and the normal pizza is minimal, so the price difference is not justified. Service time was still ok despite the restaurant being full. The Medatirane salad at the Nschbar table also looked super tasty and tasty. A few less tables on the terrace would be perfect. Although the restaurant is located near the train station and the main street, it is nice and quiet. Children are also very welcome. There is a swing outside and the children are given art supplies inside. Our favorite menus are the saffron risotto with veal liver and the pizzas.

A very authentic Italian meal, asparagus soup 3.8 points, tomato soup 3.5 points, white asparagus ham 4 points, beef baked rice uses beef filling instead of veal cubes, taste 3.8 points, lobster noodles 4.2 points, beef tartare 4 4 points. There were many people that day and the service was prompt and attentive. 4 points for the creamy pasta and 5 points for the tiramisu.

A big compliment to the house! I visited this restaurant when I was younger. When I visited Mamma Mia for the first time, the three of us ate the spaghetti a la discretion. The experience was indescribable back then... I recently visited Mamma Mia for a pleasant evening for three. Had the same experience again, phenomenal! The last time I was there was around 45 years ago, when we still lived on Gibeleichstrasse. The Toscana pizza was wonderful.

Delicious food, the pizzas were well topped and the dough was fluffy. Friendly service. Old-fashioned 80s atmosphere. You can sit outside in summer, with a view of the parking lot and street. Anyone sitting near the smoking area might feel disturbed by the constantly opening door to it - the smell of nicotine definitely comes in.

Calzone pizza was really good. We came here for lunch and the place was almost full. Parking spaces were also all occupied but you cand find a nearby parking at Opfikon Bahnhof. Good service and reasonable prices.

A very lovely place where we go frequently for our team and business lunch. It has always a very warm welcome and great Italian food. Only downer is that if it's totally crowded during lunch time it can get very loud.

For the second time, diarrhea for three days after a pizza at Mamma Mia Glattbrugg.

Nothing special. Pizza is OK. Don't have to come here a second time. Was here again, noodles are bland and dry. Sauce tastes like ready-made sauce or warmed up in the microwave. The furnishings are old and the seating is very uncomfortable. Unfortunately no recommendation. Pizza is fine.
