Many years ago it was a very good bakery. After the takeover and the name change, things only went downhill. Many of the products are no longer manufactured in-house and therefore the quality is worse than fair. Luckily there are still bakeries nearby that value quality.

We received a brunch from Limmatbeck from Bruchkuier on September 8th, 2019. The Birchermüesli was already slightly gray. The salmon had hardly any gemstones, just like the rest of the cold cuts. My wife and I were very disappointed. It confirmed why I've been avoiding this bakery for years.

I'm sorry, but unfortunately I'm not one bit happy with this bakery. It's nothing unique, otherwise I wouldn't rate it with one star "just like that." The croissants, bread and sometimes the cakes don't often seem to be fresh, and the price-performance ratio also seems to be simply too excessive for the goods on offer. What motivated me to write this review was my last visit when, in addition to bread, I urgently needed fresh eggs (otherwise I can get the eggs from the Buurelädeli below). I asked twice whether the eggs were really fresh, and the saleswoman gave the short answer “yes” twice. So I bought it with complete confidence and brought it home for immediate preparation of sauces and creams with raw eggs. After preparation, we were taken aback when we reflected on how shriveled and slightly musty the egg yolk was. The expiration date on the egg box was sometime in the first few days of early June. The eggs were purchased last Sunday in July. Well, it could just be old packaging. That was the case, but when we checked the eggs (shells), we found that the laying date was OVER a month ago (between 33 and 35 days). We couldn't complain anymore because it was already 12 noon. So we had to dispose of everything and quickly make our way to Mövenpick before our guests arrived. Time, money and patience wasted for nothing. Very, very annoying. How I miss old Muntwyler...

Very friendly staff.also sell eggs butter etc. They make the best banana torte that you have ever had. One of their specialty. If you dont do anything else you need to get a banana torte piece when close to this town.

12:00, Spreitenbach Dä Beck wouldn't have an ice cream sandwich... and that was the day before yesterday... I didn't try the salad at all, but for the 16.90 we had ice tea? I don't need any stress if it ever happens, but what kind of Beck wouldn't have a sandwich at 12:00?

Quite good as a village bakery. But it always surprises me when the quality of the croissants or bread varies greatly. This is usually compensated for with additional croissants, but am I really surprised why this happens so often here?

Very nice employees, who soon know you personally, always sell fresh, good bread. A selection of to-go snacks, such as sandwiches, is also offered.
