Linde in Weiningen (ZH)

I was able to eat there on my birthday, in short it was simply very tasty. Will come again and not just because of the birthday present I got there. Thanks again, very much.

So.... Impeccable restaurant. Everything is perfect. Welcome, service, kindness, menu and choice, cleanliness, toilets... Well done everywhere. The atmosphere is authentic and that's what I was looking for. I'm from Paris and nothing looks like this anymore. The dishes are excellent. And frankly, the service..... Worthy of a 4 star in Paris and again..... You can teach them lessons. The only little thing if something absolutely has to be said.... It's the floor coverings. This carpet should be changed for parquet in my opinion. And the covering of the chairs too... A point of detail. Bravo and stay like that above all.

Was really positively impressed by the venison pepper...a variety of flavors that was surprising, simply phenomenal 🥰. Come here every year to eat saddle of venison. Very friendly service and extremely accommodating. We always feel warmly welcome.

Very unsuitable place for groups: Unfortunately, we didn't really enjoy our military graduation evening at Linde Weiningen. Back then we were a simple and uncomplicated, larger company from which the restaurant could benefit. Unfortunately, we were constantly asked to be quiet. The staff were constantly worried that the evening would get out of hand, even though we were all in good control of each other. The food was very well prepared, but unfortunately the portions were far too small for members of the army. When asked for some follow-up service for French fries, CHF 8 per person was added. Something incomprehensible to all of us given such high prices for an entire society. The later criticism was not acknowledged and our request to speak to the landlady personally was not considered possible. I would possibly recommend the restaurant for private individuals, but under no circumstances for groups. Sascha Liechti

My son hated the venison medallions with egg sponges with brown jus, Brussels sprouts, decorated with brunoise vegetables and a touch of nutmeg with spaetzle. I had the pepper with the side dishes. Everything was very tasty, the deer medallions were a taste bud explosion. The service was great. Thanks to the whole team for the excellent performance. See you soon. Best regards.

Became aware of the restaurant through motorhome dinners! We received a very friendly welcome and were able to sample the incredibly fine cuisine! There's something on the menu for everyone! Our dog was also warmly welcomed and immediately given a bowl of water and Guetzini 🙃! After the delicious food and wine, we were able to spend the night in our motorhome in the parking lot 😴! PS: Be sure to eat the LINDE Spätzli, they are super delicious 😋

Very nice service, the food was absolutely amazing, green and white asparagus with potatoes and a wild garlic sauce with the right meat.

After giving the Linde a chance for the third time, today was the last evening in this restaurant. The waitress was extinguished and brought us the wrong side dishes, but at the same time assured us that the correct side dish would come straight away. We both ordered spaetzle as a side dish. After a while, however, only one side dish arrived. If we hadn't told the waitress, who had previously assured us that the right side dishes would be coming soon, to please bring the second side dish as well, we would still be waiting today. The waitress was also not aware that a bottle cooler is actually provided for a bottle of white wine; we also ordered this ourselves. It is noticeable that mistakes are already expected on the part of the staff, because every time you get the same pre-produced "äxgüsi" gift. Sorry, but we can't take that seriously anymore. We live in Weiningen and this was definitely our last visit, which we really regret.

My wife and I went to Restaurant Linde on Valentine's Day. Although the restaurant was busy, we didn't notice much of the service stress. We felt very comfortable and the Valentine's Day menu was excellent. Thanks to the service team and the kitchen for a very nice evening with you.

Because of the fantastic food, the diverse menu and the beautiful ambience, we always enjoy coming to Linde Weiningen. The friendly interaction within the team is evidence of a good employee culture. We went there for lunch for my mother's birthday. Gabi, the nice service lady, is extremely friendly, attentive and personable. Her cheerful personality was contagious and my mother was very happy about the restaurant. The food is excellent as always. Great kitchen!

Very nice evening for four. Vegetarian cuisine is excellent. We had game. Small portions are a hit - finally a restaurant that consistently applies the concept. Wine list is exquisite and not overpriced. Only the heating could be turned off. Please turn down the heating!

Great country inn in the agglomeration. Easily accessible from Schlieren by public transport or on foot. The food is traditional and delicious. The service is top. You feel comfortable here.

Pleasant and rustic place, beautiful food menu, good cuisine presented in an enticing manner. Decent service, however these service ladies should avoid laughing endlessly in front of the customers. This doesn't give a very serious picture.

A great restaurant with high standards. You immediately feel at home in this restaurant. The employees are always friendly and well positioned. Very dog-friendly, they immediately get water to drink and Gudis to eat. The food is bombastic. It's worth a visit.

Wild time - Linde time The best roe pepper is found in the linden tree. (Do not tell anyone) Together with the legendary Lindespätzli - a dream! We ate with the family (2 adults and 3 children) in the Linde. Kitchen was great. Veal liver with butter rosti, as well as the veal cordon bleu was a dream. I can only recommend.

Excellent Cordon Bleu and it should also be mentioned that every wine is served "open"!

After a friendly welcome, it's a pleasure to look at the varied menu. The selection is considerable. After ordering, the food follows quite quickly. Everything was excellent and the service was attentive. The price-performance ratio is right. It's really fun to be pampered in the linden tree.

Located in the old village center. Very nice terrace to relax🍻. Banquet hall with chandelier and wooden ceiling.

Have eaten there 4 times so far. Three times we were more than thrilled by the good service and the fine cuisine. The first time we had food from the linden tree from the take away, which didn't convince us as much. We are still very happy that we gave it a second, third, fourth and hopefully many more chances in the future.

Top!! Everything is super fresh and super delicious! Service very friendly. The terrace is also great. We will be back.
