Good taste, good value for money... worthy of recommendation

The view is fantastic. An old building with a beautiful interior. The apero sausage is a dream. Unfortunately the kitchen made a mistake with the meat. The service dealt with the error very professionally and courteously. I didn't want to put 400 grams of meat in the bin because the quality was very good. But it could have been done easily. We really enjoyed the evening and will definitely come back.

As a participant in a group of hundreds of older people who arrived by bus with high expectations of the upcoming dinner, I can only say: everything was absolutely top and all in all highly recommended! The extremely ambitious time frame of one hour could probably not have been adhered to more effectively. There were no deductions in terms of the high quality of the food served or the friendliness and courteousness of the staff. As far as can be seen, there were hardly any leftovers of the rich, formidable meal on any plate and the mood of the participants remained excellent throughout! Thank you for the excellent service! Gladly again!

Dear Winzerhaus team, A sunny hello from the beautiful Limmattal! Thanks to an enthusiastic friend, I dared to visit you again. Your online reservation system? Top class! Clear as a children's book and as effective as my morning routine. We were there promptly at 12:00 p.m., I arrived a little early and was greeted promptly, although perhaps a little touch of cosiness wouldn't hurt. The menus? Well, a little more care couldn't hurt. There definitely shouldn't be any traces of past meals on it. To eat: The meat? A real culinary delight! But just providing him with ready-made sauces from wholesalers is like mixing champagne with lemonade. There is definitely room for improvement. Cook, be creative, swap ready-made products for homemade delicacies and conjure up sauces that do justice to the meat! The salad also seemed to jump straight from the package into the bowl and the sauce seemed like it came from a foil strip. (A little tip here too: homemade sauces could catapult your chef into the league of celebrity chefs!). And your team? Similar to our national team last week: present, but not necessarily in full throttle mode. A small side comment: Who in your service team really needs the smartphone for service? Just asking. Finally, for all that, including the enchanting view and great terrace, the price of 140.00 CHF was perhaps a bit ambitious, for two people. The Location is the biggest plus with the breathtaking view above zürich. The food is good indeed with great local sourced meat but its quite expensive. The service staff is kind and quick.

The best place to eat well with advance reservation!

In warm weather, the large terrace is an absolute highlight with a good view. A walk through the vines and a flat dirt path is also suitable for elderly people; the outside staircase is the only possible obstacle. The food was good.

Fantastic location above the Limmattal. It's usually very well attended. Menu selection: very meat-heavy (but of the best quality), available in all sizes. Side dishes always have to be paid for separately, including fries. The kitchen makes it too easy. Prices clearly too high. The service is warm.

EVERYTHING is really right, whether service, price or performance. Just pay close attention to who ordered which cooking level. But the advice, the knowledge, the hygiene and the relaxedness are simply top notch. We're really excited, think it's a shame that we didn't discover this place sooner, and we'd love to come back.

The food was generally delicious and the meat was cooked to perfection and simply heavenly. The beautiful atmosphere and the view over the vineyard made the evening perfect. The service staff were extremely friendly, attentive and competent throughout - we will definitely be back!

The meal was excellent. I also liked the concept with the separate side dishes and the option to choose the weight of the meat/fish. The wine selection is also recommended. It's a shame that the winery sets its prices so high. But good quality and professional, motivated staff also have their price. Not recommended for small wallets.

Beautiful garden terrace with a sensational view in good weather ☀️ On the terrace you can look over the shoulders of the chef at the grill, which increases your anticipation 😋 The menu is a great cinema. In addition to various meat and fish dishes, various side dishes are also available. The meat quality is top notch 🤩 Not exactly cheap but very good value for money 👍🏼 I'm looking forward to my next visit 😉

I had a beef filet and my husband had a beef ribeye. They were both seasoned and cooked perfectly! The restaurant is beautiful and the service was very good.I hope I get to come back in warmer weather and enjoy the patio, which has vines and an amazing view. I heard the salmon is really good, I will try that next time!

Was at the Winzerhaus as part of a team event. The restaurant has a varied menu with a variety of starters, main courses and desserts. The wine list also appealed to me personally, with a selection for every budget. Every meal ordered was grilled to perfection. Service was very nice, competent and yet very appropriate for the table.

Very nice staff. The food is out of this world. I have almost never eaten something so good and inexpensive. Lovely again.

The food is simply fantastic! Entrecôte on point. Very tasty sauces and side dishes. Unfortunately I didn't take photos of everything. The staff is attentive, very friendly and professional. Price performance is top and there is something for everyone. It's a shame that we don't live nearby, otherwise we would be at the Winzerhaus much more often. We look forward to our next visit :-)

We were a guest yesterday and it is a beautiful location with a great view, excellent food and very friendly staff! You could taste the meat crust that it came straight from the grill and it was super delicious. The tartare is also highly recommended and the wines. We'll be back soon! Thanks!

Wonderful location especially on sunny days. Outdoor terrace with pergola covered with grapes providing a pleasant shade. Food was excellent except the Coupe Denmark not served with hot chocolate as usua. Prices are reasonable. For many plates different sizes are on the menue, like steaks 200, 300, 400 or 500 g. I would warmly recommend the place.

We had to return 7 of 7 steaks because none of the steaks were cooked the way we wanted. When we mentioned this, the boss was suddenly very unfriendly and asked what the problem was and everything. I think for the price you pay you should be able to expect a certain level of performance. I only give the 2 star because the service lady tried extremely hard.

A beautiful restaurant in the middle of the vines where fresh food lovers come to the fore. As a steakhouse, it offers everyone something they like. The other menus also taste good. The cool drinks are particularly refreshing. I can recommend a "Hugo" which cools and is pleasant. All in all a successful restaurant that offers good menus from midday to late evening in the green and slightly elevated vineyards of Weiningen ZH.

The Winzerhaus is a beautiful restaurant with an excellent view over the Limmattal. The guest garden is especially wonderful on hot days. The service staff was friendly but it took an incredibly long time for our order to arrive. The starters are not complete but the forgotten starter as the main course. The waiting time between courses was a full 75 minutes even though the restaurant was not full. Only after I asked did anything move forward, but my steak was medium and not medium rare and almost cold and the side dishes didn't come at the same time!!!!! It's a shame, I expect more from a restaurant that specializes in steaks!!!! The quality of the meat was very good, but unfortunately, as I said, it was almost cold. The desserts were nicely presented and tasted ok. All in all it was ok, but unfortunately nothing more. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right either. It's a shame, we used to love going to the winery...

At first we thought the salmon skewer was just a bit oversalted, unfortunately later that night it turned out that the fish was spoiled. My son was too polite to let the food go back immediately. He regretted that all night. This behavior of the kitchen does not suit the restaurant. Very big rebuke. My advice: stay away from the fish!
