The 5 stars go for the Flammenkuchen. You have to try it if you come, it is delicious. Affordable prices for being in the city center and pleasant service.

In Bern I always come to the Lirum lunch with a flamenkuche and a glass of primitiv. Home, simple cuisine, perfect!

Unfriendly and impersonal. One of the restaurants that doesn't need to be hospitable as there is enough walk-in customers.

The staff is very rude. Not a smile, derogatory remarks and they made a mistake in my order, making me pay more than I wanted, even though I had very clearly indicated with my finger on the card what I wanted, saying the price aloud. Also, don't make an effort to communicate if you don't speak German. I strongly advise against it.

It is unbelievable that still today, after the pandemic and all, you can’t pay by card or TWINT in a cafe in the center of the city. Definitely do not recommend going there until they’ve changed their payment policy

Jürg and the Lirum Larum team always make you feel very comfortable and welcome. A small oasis in the old town of Bern. It's almost a must when we're out and about in the city. Absolutely worth a visit.

Well-positioned and courteous employees. The beer selection alone is worth a visit.

Only had drinks, rude bartender, nothing personal because he was rude to all guests (he spilled coffee over old lady and blamed her) except when his friends arrived then he was able to smile and had time to sit down and chitchat.

Very nice place, but ruined by the incredibly rude staff. A gray-haired gentleman with very strange behavior. We recommend going there only if you want to be treated badly.

Very unfriendly service, aggressive waiter. Cafe fredo is inedible and watery, cappuchino looked terrible. Carelessly slammed onto the table in front of you. Very disappointing. You can only pay in cash, and this is also communicated to you in a very unfriendly manner.

Cool location but service is a bit grumpy sometimes and who searches for a nice plant based cappuccino or only has cash better skip it it that case. Hope this will change, because the place could try harder!

Very bad, rude and unfriendly service. I was spoken to in an unfriendly, high-pitched tone (an older gentleman with long gray hair - the waiter) when I accidentally and unintentionally placed the plastic bottle with water on the table upon arrival. The gentleman continued to be aggressive even while walking.

A nice bar/café that invites you to linger. It is very nice to look at from the outside and very nicely decorated inside. What bothered me was the quick and impersonal way in which the order was taken. Later we didn't ask if everything was OK or if we wanted to order anything else. It's a shame that the star was deducted.

Today I was at Lirum Larum with my companion and I had never experienced what happened to me today. When the waitress came to us, she was already in a bad mood. We ordered two cappuccinos and she was still very unfriendly, even rude. When she brought us the cappuccinos, she was just about to collect (on the grounds that the restaurant would be closing in 40 minutes), which wasn't particularly unusual. However, I only had a card with me, but this wasn't possible because it didn't have a card reader. She shouted at us stupidly and said the ATM was opposite, I then said that I would like to finish my cappuccino, she didn't accept this and said she wanted the money now. Then I went over and took out cash. When I came back, she was eagerly waiting for me. She didn't get a cent tip and what I regret most is that I didn't just get up and look for something far away. I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone, stay away from the place if you want to enjoy your Sunday.

Einen liebevoll gestalteten Cappucino wurde uns Serviert,sehr nettes Personal.Ich komme sehr bald wieder zu euch.

Für ein Getränk und zum schnellen Mittagessen war es sehr angenehm. Man sitzt sehr schön draussen und wird auch freundlich betreut. Das Essen ist in Ordnung. Keine grosse Küche aber es erfüllt seinen Zweck.

Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich.

Sehr gemütliche Bar, welche zum verweilen einlädt. Das Personal ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Einziger negativ Punkt: nebem dem lokalen Bier aus dem Tramdepot wird leider auch Eichhof ausgeschenkt.

Ich bin von Beruf Kundenmauer und besuche ganze Stadt Bern regelmässig überall fast..vor kurze Zeit war ich für 4tage beruflich eben in Kramgasse und ging regelmässig bei lirumlarum..der Mitarbeiter sah mich & mein Kollege immer schräg an und kann immer zu spät Bestellung nehmen und wider sehr spät kaffe gebracht...sehr schlechte Behandlung...Merkt euch 1 auch der Bauarbeiter kann bezahlen und benehmen..also zeigt Respekt danke

Um simples e bom restaurante e lanchonete na rua principal de Berna.O menu é simples mas atende bem as necessidades de uma refeição ligeira, principalmente se você não quer perder muito tempo.O atendimento é muito bom - com os atendentes, que nos pareceu ser os donos do próprio restaurante, - muito simpáticos.Preço barato - mas a comida é muito boa.

Ein absoluter no go!!!! Der Kellner (gedchäftsfürer) hat uns betrogen 3 Martins aber verdünnt die Kellnerin hatte gesagt das sie nur nur für 1 hatte das der typ hat uns für dumm verkauft hat 3 verkauft mit eis bis zum geht nicht mehr entweder hatt er es mit bianco gemischt oder mit Wasser obwohl reklamiert gleich einkassiert!!! Und frech ..... so ein betrug nie wieder

La camarera es muy antipática y impertinente. Al pedir por el servicio nos dijo en alemán el código y al no entenderle nos contestó en italiano pero con un tono repelente.

Sehr zentral in der Berner Altstadt. Das sehr gute Tramdepot Bier gibt es hier auch!

Sander ist der absolute Boss des Ladens. Keiner macht so einen guten Moscow Mule wie Sander. Absolut zu empfehlen ist auch die hausgemachte Lasagne. Selten mal in einer Bar so gut gegessen.

Lirum Larum ist immer eine gute Idee und einen Besuch wert.

Tja Wochenende in Bern ist katastrofal, trotz in solchen super netten Lokale wie der Lirum Larum darf man nicht verweilen. Um 0:30h ist schluss mit Lustig.

The lady charged me 10 francs for a coffee. Watch out for the blonde hair lady. She does not speak English and does not know math. Very impolite towards me. I will never go back. To elaborate, it could have easily been resolved but she outright ignored my many attempts to resolve the issue calmly and rationally. I really have not seen this level of customer service before.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und auch mit Hund ist man stets willkommen. Auch im Winter kann man draussen unter den Lauben sitzen, die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kann diese Bar nur empfehlen! Preis-Leistung stimmt absolut.

Naja, laut, eng und das Personal ist so gut wie unsichtbar. Ausserdem könnte man im Jahr 2019 erwarten, dass mit Karte gezahlt werden kann. Das ist meiner Meinung nach der Minimalstandard...sogar in jeder Dönnerbude kann mit Karte gezahlt werden.

Das LiLa ist eine fesche Bar mit 1 nicer Servierjunge. Das Angebot ist gut, jedoch ein bisschen teuer. Sander schmeisst den Laden!

Eine coole Bar mit klassischer Musik im Herzen der Altstadt. Ein schönes Ambiente Die Chefin ist etwas grummelig, aber das gleicht der Chef mit seiner ruhigen Art locker aus ;-) Ach ja, hier musst du bar bezahlen.

Too expensive for really small dishes!!!! Cash only is also a disadvantage, especially for so much expensive "meals". 9.50CHF for a croque-monsieur, which was a small toast with a thin slice oh ham and really thin slice of cheese... We ordered offen coca cola but we got a bottle, more expensive but we couldn't say anything cause it was already open... The place is nice still.

Ich war dort mit meinem Freund und uns wurde gesagt, dass sie an diesem Ort nur Bargeld akzeptieren, was meiner Meinung nach im Jahr 2018 unaussprechlich ist. Uns wurde gesagt, dass "wir Geld haben müssen, wenn wir zahlen wollen"

Auf der Haupteinkaufsstraße in Bern ist dieses kleine Wasserloch ein großartiger Ort, um etwas zu trinken und die Batterien aufzuladen. Der Service ist rustikal, aber das Ambiente mit Einheimischen ist sehr schön. Terrasse im Sommer.
