Lonza in Wiler (Lötschen)

Anyone who is thinking about grabbing something to eat at the Lauchernalpbahn valley station will probably look for a place opposite. But be careful, it's worth walking a few minutes towards the village because the Lonza restaurant is on the left. Every plate that comes to the table has a WOW effect. It looks exciting and fantastic. They are creations. And the taste: oh la la, hmmmm, delicious!! Would you like to try mine too? Finally, the service is friendly and always makes an effort to decorate the restaurant according to the season. In summary: only praise!

The spicy chili chocolate stew with Lötschental Galloway beef was a taste revelation!

You can eat wonderful dishes here using local products. From the fine Brosis fillet pan to seasonal delicacies such as wild boar entrecôte. There is something for every taste. The service team is very friendly and attentive.

Friendly, great cuisine, chef knows his craft

Great restaurant! For the meal, we had white wine soups (a delicious specialty to absolutely discover if you don't know it!), tartars, as well as an herb fondue, everything was very good! The service and kindness of Bernarda, the setting, everything was great! I highly recommend :)

Actually, I don't like giving insider tips because I'm afraid I won't get a seat, but this restaurant is a blast 🧨. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Beef sentrecot from Simmental beef 🥩 with homemade herb butter and croquettes 🪴. I love it when the herb butter melts and I can also toss the croquettes in the butter. Mhhh, here's to the chef who knows his craft. Keep it up! By the way, we saw each other twice during our sports week because I wanted to try this entrecot twice. Served in a cast iron skillet 🍳. small village restaurant without a view, but bright, very well decorated. pleasant atmosphere with regulars of the valley, families or couples. excellent cuisine with organic, garden and Swiss products. attractive cuisine that follows the seasons, particularly hunting at the moment which is the best I know. excellent welcome and service. speaks Swiss Valais, German, English, a little French.

Go there. A maestro is at the stove who understands his work. The best entrecote has been served for a long time, by charming ladies who attentively and very friendly fulfill your culinary wishes. Thank you, I'd love to come back.

The game menu was very good, service could be a little quicker, cozy atmosphere and the restaurant has an excellent salad dressing. In general, there is still some room for improvement when it comes to game meat and service.

Excellent repas, belle présentation des plats et service chaleureux

Leider können wir die vorherigen Berichte nicht ganz bestätigen. Wir waren schon vor ein paar Jahren hier zu Gast und waren damals mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden. Das die Räumlichkeiten nicht eine Augenweide sind wussten wir ja. Bei unserem Besuch war es innen auch relativ frisch und die Luft war etwas „muffig“, dies war sicher dem langen Stillstand zu Schulden. Um so mehr freuten wir uns auf das essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir bestellen den Wilderer Salat mit Brosi Brot, Wienerschnitzel (vom Schwein) Rösti mit Spiegelei und Käse, Rahmgeschnezeltes und ein Teller Alpenkräuter Nudeln. Der Salat war sehr schon angerichtet wobei wir die Salatsauce, wahlweise franz. oder ital., selber über den Salat giessen mussten. Der der Salat grob geschnitten war, war es sehr umständlich genügend Sauce auf den Salat zu bekommen. Das Früchtebrot war sehr gut, das zusätzliche Brot erschien mir als nicht ganz frisch. Die Nudeln und das Rahmgeschnezelte waren gut. Die Rösti, in der heissen Pfanne serviert, war leider fettig und das Schnitzel zu dick geschnitten und die Panade hatte sich vom Fleisch gelöst. Die ausgestellten Lötschentaler -Produkte welche ebenfalls gekauft werden können hätten mich interessiert, empfand aber die Preise (Kräuternudeln) als doch etwas zu hoch. Im wissen das meine Erfahrung eine Momentaufnahme ist, hoffe ich das die nächsten Gäste wieder erfreuliche Erfahrungen erleben dürfen. R.R.

Das Essen im Lonza war ein Erlebnis. Angefangen mit dem liebevoll angerichteten Salat gefolgt vom perfekt gebratenen Entercote bis zum Toblerone-Mousse waren die Portionen mehr als ausreichend um meinen Hunger zu stillen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Essen Top ein Genuss. Einfach ein kulinarisches Erlebniss. Sehr zu empfehlen ein Glas Tschäggätu Bluät . Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal . Reservation ist von Vorteil. Klein fein tolles Ambiente. Danke Berni und Brosi

Von aussen denkt man, soll ich oder nicht...?Wir hatten 2x Entercote vom Simmentaler Rind.Wir haben, bei all unseren diversen Restaurant besuchen, noch nie so hervorragend zubereitetes Fleisch geniessen dürfen.Die Terrasse ist sehr einfach ausgestattet. Das Essen, ein wahrer Hochgenuss!Freundliche Bedienung. Super Glace, mit speziellen Aromen, vom Bauernhof.Sehr empfehlenswert!

En promenade dans cette vallée, nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant. L'accueil est chaleureux et attentionné. La chasse était excellente avec une cuisson des viandes parfaite. Les accompagnements étaient très copieux. Nous avons très bien mangé. A conseiller.

Wir waren in der Fasnacht da, das Essen war super! Karottensuppe und Tandoori Huhn. Das Dessert, Tobleronemousse, war spitze! Leider mussten wir eine Stunde warten, bis der erste Gang serviert wurde, trotz Reservation. In der Fasnacht kann das ja passieren aber wir mussten fast pressieren damit wir anschliessend dem Umzug nicht verpassen. Das war schade. Das Personal war nicht so aufmerksam wie gewünscht, daher nur vier statt fünf Sterne. Vom Essen her hätte es aber locker fünf Sterne verdient.

Auch wirklich gut zubereitete Salate für den Tisch mit Wurstwaren aus dem Tal. Das Cordon Blue hat auch allen, die es bestellt haben, den Daumen hoch. Werfen Sie den üblichen Besuch vom Besitzer / Chef zu jedem Tisch in der Einrichtung sowie die ausgezeichnete Auswahl an Schnäpsen im Angebot und es ist eine ausgezeichnete Nummer 10. Wenn Sie im L Tschental sind, ist dies der Ort zum essen gehen.

wir haben ausgezeichnetes Fleisch aus der Region gegessen. Normalerweise essen wir eher kein Schweinefleisch und schon gar nicht auswärts. Das Fleisch war saftig und hatte einen angenehmen Geschmack und ein guter Biss. Sehr gute Zubereitung. Sowohl das Filet an Calvadossauce mit Apfelstückchen im Pfännchen serviert, sowie das Holzfällersteak ebenfalls im Pfännchen mit Champignons. Beilagen nach Wahl. Die Portionen sind gross und auch die hungrigsten Mäulen werden garantiert satt.Gute Auswahl an regionalen Weinen von diversen Winzern.
