Best Italian restaurant in town! Pizzas are great and people are kind and fast service (exceptional in Switzerland) This place is every time busy in the evening which is a good sign. We go there often, it’s my favourite spot for reasonable price.

Pizza is usually very good, sometimes not. But only about 1 out of 7 times not so good.

A Prosciutto e Funghi pizza and a stick costs an impressive 30 francs in this pizzeria. The pizza had a normal diameter with its rounded-up 2mm thick base and the taste was okay, but the extremely thinly laid out ingredients simply didn't give me a real feeling of satiety. To be fair, I didn't take a photo of the pizza from the side, otherwise the edge of the plate would have completely covered the pizza.

The lasagna had too much cheese and not enough tomato sauce and meat for my taste. It was quite crowded and a bit stuffy but still nice. Clean toilets and well maintained. The pizza has a thin dough, which I personally love, it was top.

Considering it's on a French motorway I think it's one of the few places where you can eat something decent

We found the food very delicious and the service excellent. Plator's service in particular was extremely friendly and accommodating. Even though the restaurant was very full, he chose a quiet table for us so that we could enjoy a pleasant meal. He independently recognized the wobbling table legs and immediately stabilized them. His recommendation, a homemade type of pasta, was extremely delicious. The fresh ingredients were a real treat for the palate. We haven't enjoyed such attentive service and such excellent quality of food for a long time. Absolutely recommended, we will definitely come back 😊

All in all the food was ok. The pizza could still be worked on, the colorful salad plate with feta was drowned in sauce and a bit poor for the price. Pleasant atmosphere and great staff!

We came in and were shown to the table with the whole group. We ordered our drinks. Starters and main courses were ordered promptly and served quickly. My risotto Milanese was well prepared with beef and saffron. After eating we had to wait an inexplicably long time for the employee. Afterwards we ordered the desserts and said goodbye. Finely eaten. Great pizza, gnocchi and salads were highly praised by our group. It was great that you had the option to order a small portion of each dish, great!! Very hard-working service that was under a lot of pressure (exiting recruits) and yet nimble and attentive. Bravo!!

We were here on a Thursady in the afternoon and they served only pizza. We had to wait about 1 hour for 2 pizza. To much time. The food was good.

One of the few restaurants open over the weekend. So we were there twice in one weekend. Both times had the salmon with vegetables, and it was absolutely divine! Language (English) is a bit of a barrier for most waiters, but their did they best - lovely service. Would highly recommend it!

We had dinner here on a Thursday evening. Most of the pizzas were very tasty, especially the thin, crispy base was very good. Unfortunately, with the vegetarian pizza, the pizza is a bit very liquefied. Hence the deductions for food. Nevertheless, I would recommend this restaurant.

We were welcomed very friendly. Our daughter suffers from celiac disease and we felt very well looked after. The gluten-free pizza was baked in an extra aluminum tray. The waiter had already checked the ingredients for everything and was able to tell us where there was gluten and where there wasn't. If the waiter wasn't sure, he asked us whether this was possible or not (e.g. the syrup with the strawberries). Our waiter Nuri was simply great. Very attentive, courteous, well informed about allergens and always friendly. We'd love to come back!

The L'Ulivo restaurant is an absolute favorite restaurant for me! I'm a regular guest there and have never been disappointed. What sets this restaurant apart is the fresh preparation of all dishes. Every dish is a real treat and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, making the visit a completely pleasant experience. I always feel warmly welcome. L'Ulivo has become a second home for me. If you are looking for real Italian cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. You'll be amazed!

Friendly and accommodating even during busy times

We went to the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon to have something to eat. There was “fresh” pizza - which is what we wanted. What we got after 40 minutes had something like frozen pizza. Dry, therefore “crispy”, one pizza was cold (the most expensive on the menu), the other was at least warm. The service was friendly, tried hard, but unsorted. One wishes that innkeepers would place more emphasis on quality and perhaps also a little dedication to their products. Unfortunately bad and unloving, maybe it was just - and this is well-intentioned - the wrong time.

The restaurant is 100% recommended. The pizzas are ready quickly. The employees are always friendly and attentive. We often order takeaway pizza for home and pick it up. Unfortunately they don't have a delivery service otherwise it would be 6+ stars.

The food was good, but being thrown out isn't great... yes, they have to set up for the evening, but Fasnacht only happens once a year and it doesn't come as a surprise. We also ate something. I think you can leave it alone sometimes.

Food has always been unbeatable! Best pizzas in the region! We regularly order take away, today we were guests in the restaurant for the first time, including a small child. The entire team looked after our son, even though there was a lot going on. Top service!

Very good restaurant, in particular I recommend the meat on hot stone. The atmosphere is really noce even if sometime it is too noise due to the fact that people speak too laud.

Absolutely fresh ingredients, very good fillets on a hot stone and extremely courteous and friendly staff. The only deduction is for the number of tables. It's rather cramped and noisy when the restaurant is full.

We stopped by for lunch on the way. There was one waiter and it was just us in the restaurant. We were only offered pizzas. The salami pizza was okay, and the wine was great. The service was fast but there was a language barrier, the waiter had to use Google translate to serve.

Had to wait a long time for the food. Guests who arrived after us had already eaten and paid before we received our food. Many guests were bothered by the greasy smell of a "hot stone" (window open). This menu simply does not belong on the menu in a closed restaurant.
