A very pleasant and beautiful Moroccan restaurant in the Neustadt in Lucerne. The food is good and the service is friendly. There is still room for improvement when it comes to wines. But we would be happy to come back and would be happy to recommend the restaurant.

Very friendly staff, lots of food choices (many vegetarian and vegan options!), food was delicious, and cozy atmosphere - we will be back! :)

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this Moroccan restaurant. The food was absolutely top! Every dish was a feast for the senses. The ambience also spoke to me directly - cozy, inviting and furnished with love. The service was warm and very friendly, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant. However, there were small reductions in the attention of the staff. After eating we waited a long time (>20 minutes) and ultimately had to get up ourselves and ask someone if we could pay. This little faux pas marred the otherwise impeccable impression a little.

So far, Majorelle and its after-work beer have been a regular stop for us. But after recent experiences? Never again. Apart from the fact that the price-performance ratio is completely wrong and you now pay horrendous prices for mediocre beer, we also had to experience the arrogance of the manager. After a legitimate criticism, we weren't greeted kindly or even treated apologetically - no, we were beaten up like schoolboys. Such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior is not only an absolute no-go, it also shows how little appreciation this establishment has for its guests. Some good advice: save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

Wonderful Moroccan inspired dishes cooked with love. The service is lovely and fast, the location central and the price beyond reasonable. The perfect place for a healthy meal that will leave you satisfied and with a smile on your face.

I recommend the Mezze - you don't have to limit yourself and you can try everything! Cozy, modern furnishings. Also recommended as a location for celebrations or larger meetings. It wasn't the first time we ate there and we assumed that the food would be the same as always. We specially ordered the salade marocaine because of the delicious coriander. Unfortunately there was no more coriander in the salad. It was said that too many people didn't like it. Why don't you just ask the people who want to eat the salad with coriander? It's not rocket science to cut the coriander and then mix it in. Otherwise please correct the menu card. Broccoli/cauliflower could have been a little more, but it was very tasty. Service was very nice.

We decided on 4 x "Un petit peu de ceci, un petit peu de cela", a colorful mix consisting of almost all the dishes offered on the menu. The food was delicious, the atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Food doesn't taste amazing but certainly good still. If you go between breakfast and dinner, no full meal options are available but plenty of "mezzes". Expensive but service is very nice. Meat is not halal. Enough vegetarian options available.

So first of all: for us, a successful visit to a restaurant does not only consist of delicious food, but also of good service, a pleasant atmosphere and rooms. First of all, about the rooms: although we had reserved a table weeks ago, we were assigned a table directly at the entrance. It was drafty there and the door was constantly being opened. Luckily, when we asked for the starter, we were allowed to move to a table further back in the restaurant. The service was great, but you were hardly ever served there. Overall, the service seemed quite inattentive to us. Even after hand signals and shouts, no one came or saw us. When we wanted to pay we finally had to go to the counter because no one came for ages. It would also have been necessary for the service to take a look into the toilet. It wasn't clean there and in our opinion this is part of visiting a restaurant. In general, the layout of the toilet took a lot of getting used to. The food was very tasty, but the mezze portions were too small and we were brought a different mezze than we ordered. The beer was brought to us in small instead of large. The aperitif had too much ice. The main courses from the evening menu were very tasty and the portions were sufficient. The atmosphere was okay, but rather modern with a hint of Morocco. We would have liked more decoration and perhaps appropriate music. The pictures on the wall with everyday situations from Morocco were great. Overall, delicious food but there is still room for improvement when it comes to service, space and atmosphere. We therefore give it 3.5 points.

This place was recommended to me, for having a wide selection of tasty mezzes. Unfortunately, we were served Migros shop-bought falafels and the food had no salt, zest or anything resembling flavours of Lebanese food. The same beetroot, spinach and classic falafels we found at Migros afterwards. But at Majorelles you pay 7.- for a portion of those falafels. For the same price at Migros, you can get a full package. Also the service is slow and they seem to do everything but putting the clients first. The humus was pureed and some olive oil over it, that was it. No salt or any form of spice, not even western ones. Absolutely incredible that this place is open and running well, with the food quality. We both felt very sick, had indigestion and nausea after the meal and had to leave some. Cannot recommend this place at all. Needless to say, I will never go again.

Lovely location, tasty food! Relaxed atmosphere… They even have a book corner with books for kids BUT a not so practical baby/ toddler seat. Would be great to see more that Restaurants also help to accommodate the needs of families and children.

Had a reservation, seated quickly but the server just disappeared for the next 30min. When they finally came to the table, we ordered and waited another hour for a small plate of food to show up. We had to reorder wine as it was forgotten during the original order. They over charged the bill and thought it was okay to just leave it that way. You will probably want to look elsewhere for Mediterranean food.

Unfortunately there is only breakfast on weekends, only Saturday and Sunday without Friday, so we had to resort to small pastries and mint tea. But these were fine and tasty, we will come back for dinner.

we ordered vine leafs and hummus as a starter and tajjine for the main course. There were only 3 leaves and a table spoon of hummus. The leaves where from the tin and the hummus had no taste. The main course was als very disapointing. Tiny portions, more like a kids portion, dry meat and very little and dry couscous...And all of that really expensive...sorry, but the nice decoration can not cover the expensive food and the small portions...
