Nice place with very good food which unfortunately I would say was slightly overpriced but the quality was great and rich. Servers were nice, just sort of slow and we were almost forgotten for almost an hour but nonetheless, ambience was very nice and food was good too even though it was on quite a pricey side.

Hello, I ate at noon. at mama zita for the dish of the day and pizza with my friends and for the 5 star service and food ++ the fast service and the well-composed plates with the Mediterranean touch. Last Thursday when I went with two friends for after-work drinks and ordered two dishes to share among us at around 7pm, our server kept saying "but you are three". Didn't know it was mandatory to order one dish for each while there were other tables where people were just drinking, not eating. Other than him, usually all good.

While the restaurant's ambiance initially won me over, my enthusiasm waned as I observed poorly maintained dishes and glasses, showing signs of inadequate cleaning and wear. Unfortunately, my dining experience took a turn for the worse when I witnessed a pizza chef engaging in unsavory hygiene practices, notably picking their nose during the pizza-making process. Despite the commendable service from the respectful servers, this hygiene lapse left me with a lasting sense of discomfort and overshadowed the positive aspects of the visit.

The best in town! Good food, happy staffs, nice place!! Nothing else to add! I go to Mama et Zita whenever I have a lunch or dinner meetings with colleagues, I feel very welcomed here. It’s a good place for gathering and to have a good time. Perfect for an year end gatherings!!

Excellent restaurant that I highly recommend

Unfortunately the food was not up to par. The risotto was inedible, way too much salt, and we could not eat it. The pizza was "OK", but not anything special. They did remove the risotto from the bill without being asked which was nice. Not to be completely negative, the wine was good!

A friendly place where we love to come regularly! Neapolitan pizzas are simply incredible! The rest of the menu is also very good for a reasonable price. I 100% recommend this restaurant and a big thank you to the owner and the whole team for the welcome!

I was recently at Mama & Zita for lunch & thought of trying the Vegeterian moussaka. I am no expert in moussaka, but even then I could tell that it was nothing like I had expected it to be. It really was not nice at all. I would not recommend it anyone. A total waste of money. I have friends who are regulars at this restaurant & I can’t understand why. The service is generally good.

The food is good and the staff pleasant, but the service is much too long during lunch service - I have been there several times and the service is slow, which is a shame because then we eat our meal in stress and that does not create a good experience.

The pizza is really, really below average. In 2023 you should be able to eat decent pizza in italian restaurants abroad, if this is not happening, maybe change ingredients or pizzaiolo. The mozzarella is not good and the tomato sauce is very insipid, only the pizza pastry is decent, even though mine was burnt. The location is nice, the waiters are nice too but tend to be slow. Positive comments about the pizza are clearly from not italians who don’t know anything about pizza. However, I didn’t try the other food and dessert, so I will give another try just for that.

We arrived at 17.30 to have some drinks before planning ot have dinner. The waitress showed us the table without any kind intention. We ordered one drink at the start, after that we waited for one and a half hour before we could order something new. Not because the waitresses looked at our table, but only when i walked to the bar and asked if i could get the check. Strangely enough she still wondered why i did nit leave a tip. Food looked good tho, to bad i did not get it...

The service was very slow and relied much on the customers to help with the dish.

It is a nice cozy place with efficient service and a nice atmosphere. Located among the International Organizations at the right bank of Geneva it is very nicely located place. You can easily find a parking place outside. Food is Lebanese and Italian. It is a nice place for lunch with a girlfriends though…

A very friendly restaurant close to the United Nations and other International organisations. Excellent food and a very relaxed and positive atmosphere. The service was really excellent throughout our visit. The prices aren’t cheap but the quality of the food and the level of service justify them. We had a really good time.

We were there for the first time and generally quite happy, however the grilled octopus was a bit too grilled but OK, well received, no waiting for the dishes, but the big downside is the price. 14 FR. for a mixed salad smaller than normal, 5.90 for a pint of beer, 7.50 for a glass of red, etc. These are prices for going to eat in the old town and more.

Was here for a large gathering, no table service just standing and small buffet. Food was good, just not much, came out in waives.

We ordered spaghetti with seafood. Salty, with too much butter and the linguine very fat. They can improve, but they do a lot of business from the adjacent buildings, so I find it difficult for them to make improvements if clients continue to create business. The waitresses are very friendly. The atmosphere is very nice.

Pizza was meh, too much cheese. But the spritz was nice.

Everything is very good: the excellent pizzas and desserts, the presentation of the dishes, the shaded and rather quiet terrace, the efficient and pleasant service, really nothing to complain about. An excellent address.

I had the opportunity to try this restaurant during the week at lunchtime and I have a good experience. The dishes are very well presented and tasty. Really good products and very well served. However, a small downside if you want to have a discussion with your table companion it would be better to sit on the Terrace perhaps,...in the dining room it would be impossible to hear each other speak. I would happily try it again for their good food and good service.

Very poor service. We had to wait 1 hour (!!!!) for a pizza. Each dish came separately to the point where we practically ate separately (a table of 2 adults and 1 child).

Mama & Zita is a pure gem of a restaurant. A rare kind in Geneva, especially in the Nations neighbourhood. First and foremost, the food is absolutely delicious. The chef offers a wonderfully refreshing approach to mediterranean cuisine: the menu (which evolves regularly) provides customers with set of options ranging from traditional to gastronomic dishes. The sourdough pizza is without question one of the best in town and the grilled kofta is so well-seasoned thay you will want to order it every time. The chefs not only master their classics (don’t miss their traditional Mezzi Rigatoni alla carbonara), but their creativity will also surprise you: have you ever tried Sea bream fillet with Prosecco sauce? Or Pistachio crusted scorpion-fish fillet? Or vegetarian Greek moussaka? If not, you should!). If you have some space left, the desserts are also more than worth trying (the tiramisu and the revisited « Mille-feuille » are personal favourites). Importantly, it is obvious that a real effort is made to use high-quality, fresh and seasonal products, which is appreciated. Last but not least, the friendly team at Mama&Zita creates an atmosphere that makes you want to come back and bring your friends, family and colleagues. Make sure to try it, you won’t be disappointed!

A meal with friends that ends in an unforgettable evening. The pizzas are excellent (big plus for the di parma). The service was also impeccable, with a waitress always attentive and smiling. And to finish in style, one of the best chocolate fondant I have ever tasted. I really recommend coming to eat there with friends and family!!!

Fabulous evening at Mama&Zita! I went to Mama&Zita on Thursday evening with my whole family and we left more than delighted as usual. In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the servers take great care and convey the joy of living. We had an assortment of mezze as a starter which took us all the way to the Mediterranean. My son loved his Neapolitan pizza which according to him is the best in Geneva! My husband and I opted for the chicken skewers and koftas which were excellent. In short, this restaurant is definitely worth the detour and we will be back very soon!

It's a shame because when the boss is there everything is fine but this evening the boss wasn't there and it was a disaster: almost an hour to be served a boletus risotto which in the end was not al dente but simply poorly cooked and boletes = poorly prepared dried boletes, all dry and powdery. A very haughty waitress who doesn't see the problem and another adorable one who apologized 3 times and who explains to us that it's because of a large table who all ordered different things... In short, an evening to forget

Different dishes, creative, very good and at reasonable prices. The setting is friendly, maybe a little too much waiting unfortunately for the service when we come to eat during our break.

Update : I went back a few times and I must say they improve quite significantly since last time ! Much better services and good pizza ! Such a disappointment … I went to this restaurant for a lunch with a few colleagues to try their pizzas and let me tell you it was quite surprising … and I don't mean it in a good way! After a bit of waiting, we ordered six pizzas. The last three pizzas came 15-20 minutes after the first three were served so we didn't eat all together. The last pizza the waiter brought was not the one we ordered, so my colleague had to wait another 5 minutes for an almost uncooked/rushed pizza. Worst, no apologies, no commercial gesture, like it was normal! Pizzas are okayish (when cooked… ) but overpriced, I've had better for similar price or less. I can tolerate a lack of organisation for a new restaurant, but this was simply not acceptable.

But what an experience!!! An incredible discovery that I highly recommend. Let's start with arrival: a very friendly welcome from... the boss himself, but all the staff were smiling and welcoming. After adjusting his eyesight to read the reservation register (we laughed - he will remember), he offers me the choice between 2 tables in the room with its simple but magnificent and warm decor. As soon as I had chosen the table, he suggested that I wait for my friends while drinking something on the terrace, which I did not hesitate to accept! After the aperitif with my friends arrived, here we are at our table (45 minutes after the scheduled time - which is important when you know the difficulty of managing services in restaurants). We discover the food menu, and what a pleasure!!! If they're as good as they look, we're in for a treat. Well here's the problem: not only were they extraordinary to the eye with a magnificent presentation, but when we started eating, then the journey to culinary land was sumptuous! I won't talk about the wine recommended by the boss himself which perfectly accompanied our trip. So there you have it, a somewhat hidden but seemingly well-known restaurant that I have just discovered and one thing is certain: I will return there!!! The meal is good, the setting pretty and the waiter friendly. On the other hand, the portions are too small for the price and the wait is really long (arrival at 7:30 p.m., service at 9:30 p.m.). In addition, some dishes were forgotten which meant that we ate out of time. Damage.

We come to this restaurant regularly: good atmosphere, good service and rather tasty dishes👍🏼. The terrace is pleasant. However the cocktails are not great...I was disappointed by the spritz and the mojito. I hope you improve.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Geneva! The decor is a stunning mix of elegance, cozy and warm atmosphere. I have been here multiple times, and every time it's an amazing experience all around. This last time we celebrated our wedding anniversary, and it was a perfect choice. The food is always fresh, both delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is super friendly, happy to help and polite. Definitely a lifetime customer!

Excellent Neapolitan pizza, the dough is very nice and tasty, a pizza like an Italian would like to eat it. It is the restaurant that comes closest to that made in Italy and Italian authenticity. In my opinion one of the best in Geneva. Decoration more than refined and which makes the place even more pleasant.
