Mango in Saanen

Being an Indian we thought Indian food in gstaad would be passe. But oh my gosh such amazing food. Superb superb superb. Recommended for everyone Indian or otherwise.

Reservation is a must as it's busy most of the time. Amazing authentic food with great hospitality.

We had butter chicken, take away. it was very good and a big portion!

An excellent restaurant which combines quality, tradition and value for money...

The sign outside says: 3 Course Gourmet Menu, CHF 48.-. So we tried that. Quality is fine, but the portions are a really bad joke! Lamb skewers as a starter: One and a half "rolls" of less than three inches length and one inch thickness in a small pan. Main dish: a handful of rice and maybe 80g of meat/vegetables in a sauce, and the dessert was served in tiny copper vessels, diameter rougly two inches. Oh, and a single, small Naan cost us CHF 7.-. One. Single. Small. Summary: We went out hungry and very disappointed. If this is meant to be a trial menu, please declare it as that. And if this is the regular size of your dishes.... Well, I'm not surprised there were only four guests that night.
