Manora(음식점) in Vevey

The food was delicious but the lady at the pizza stand left a lot to be desired. First she handed us bowls for the extra ingredient on the pizza without saying a single word, then she and a coworker made fun of us because we didn't know what to do with the extra ingredient put in the bowl. I have lived in Switzerland for 7 years and I have never felt so ignored and mistreated by the staff. If you don't want and don't like working with people, find another job.

Too bad to change a supplier who makes good croissants for another supplier who is not worth a damn!

I have known Manora for some time now and I find that the food is no longer what it was. Order a savory crepe and pay 10.90 for it and it is not cooked, it is a bit scandalous.. I find that for Teach it is still serious not to succeed in serving good food. I'm so disappointed..

Yet another bad experience in this Manora restaurant. Cuisine without taste, without flavors. Fish way too salty, vegetables cooked in water, potato gratin without cheese... in short, a big disappointment. And it's not the first time. For what ? The same restaurants in Monthey and Sierre are so much better!

Too sad... I used to come there often... with my children. The children's corner has been catastrophic for a long time, which in itself is not serious. we came for the convenience and the food was good. But for some time now the children's menus have really become mediocre... catastrophic, everything is cold, I am told to reheat in the microwave, the pasta is full of fat and stuck to the bottom of the dish. There's almost no choice and the drink now is just strawberry syrup... in short it's a shame, this place was nice. Ah yes is in pl us, the tables are super dirty, the floor is full of food stuff and paper waste, things that have leaked, the positive point is the staff, I always felt welcome and despite the crowds the staff is always friendly . Thanks to them.

Today I came to eat a crepe with my sister-in-law at 4:50 p.m. and the gentleman who served us for the crepes was very unfriendly, not at all pleasant and the worst and he served my crepe on a plate that was so high one thing and that's when there's no risk of coming back! If you want quality service with pleasant employees, go to monthey as soon as possible!

The pizzas need to be reviewed. Too much tomato sauce in the pizza and ashes to remove from the oven because the bottom of the pizza comes out too dirty. Mandatory cleaning of the pizza oven after each batch. Passage on 23.10.23.

Best of the Manor restaurants I know in the city center of Vevey, in front of the station. Excellent cuisine and very pleasant setting. Parking, terrace and shops. The only problem is constant noise from the service room... Perhaps one day, an automatic door will reduce the noise from dishes and washing. Otherwise, one of my favorite restaurants in Vevey. There are Lebanese specialists who are offered.

Very disappointed with my visit, this restaurant is not suitable for families. I came alone with 2 young children (1 and 3 years old) and a stroller. Arrived around 11:50 a.m. on a Saturday, no more carts available to transport the trays. The children's buffet was already cold and as I was about to take a second sausage from a plate, the cook very unpleasantly pointed out to me that it was 1 piece per child (no problem being told that). point out if I'm wrong but not in this way). Arriving at the table, it was impossible to find a child's chair, I had to ask a colleague who actually took a few minutes before returning. Finally, when it's time to change the junior, surprise...the only changing table is for the women! These ladies will definitely appreciate... Oh and by the way, I witnessed a big argument between a customer and a cook other than the one who had spoken unpleasantly to me, so clearly it wasn't just me who was unlucky.

Very wet place with lots of holes in the ceiling. Very average vegetables, bitter and not cooked enough. I don't post photos because I deleted them. Frankly, the Manoras have gone down a lot. Few places to clear plates, trolleys extremely full. Lack of staff. We quickly left. Not at all warm. Should see for.

I like to go there for a quick yet diverse lunch in Vevey. Buffet but also grilled meats and fish. The medditerraen wrap with falafel for 13chf is one of the best value for money in Vevey.

Since covid, it's getting worse and worse. I eat there every Saturday because it's very close to where I live and the products are of good quality, but the cooks are all incompetent and poorly polite. They give you black breaded chicken and when you complain they look at you funny and tell you that's how chicken is cooked. Other days the quinoa spends three hours in the fire, today the cod is completely raw...

The cooks don't know how to cook and on top of that they have the nerve to tell you that "it's like that." Sometimes it is raw and other times it is burnt. I have also seen poor hygiene on the part of employees many times.

Restaurant to avoid Overpriced, for more than low-end food, I don't recommend it to anyone. I wanted to have a burger, the minced steak is 9.6 CHF, you have to add almost 6 francs to get the bread, salad and onions, it's shameful. The pasta is lukewarm. The falafels are industrial and sold for 2 francs each. NEVER EAT HERE. I think that a kebab for €6 in Sarcelles has better value for money than this restaurant. I would like to modify my opinion by adding that it has only been 2 hours since I finished eating and I already have an excruciating stomach ache. Even after eating in street food stalls in South Mumbai where hygiene standards are non-existent, I did not have such a stomach ache.

We had the Asian fried rice, jasmine rice and the tempura prawns apart from some coffee. The food was ok n the coffee decent. Guamlai at the Asian counter (I hope I got the name right 😅) was warm and Mohammed at the coffee counter was very helpful.

The service is always impeccable, we look forward to returning and tasting.

Always nice to come and have a little snack, eat a good self-service meal or drink a juice at the Manora restaurant. The products are fresh, quality and truly delicious. The space is divided into different zones, whether you want to be on the terrace, have an effect close to the terrace but indoors or be in a small, more discreet corner. A small sink also allows you to use water as you wish. The products are available depending on whether they are on ice or simply placed in well-defined areas in islands surrounded by wooden edges where you can place your tray to help yourself. It is easy to move around the space with your service tray, wherever you want to go.

Very beautiful presentations of the food according to the different themes, the variety of dishes, the products are fresh, concocted with consistency and finally the value for money is great. Well done Manora restaurant Vevey. I'll be back

I came to your restaurant for lunch and I had a lunch for 6 francs but the ham was not to my taste. I reported it to the young man who worked there. And not only did he use it on my plate to test it, saying (it's very good, it's from this morning) I didn't appreciate his lack of professionalism at all! He should have said instead (excuse me, sir, I'll fix it! In short, it will be really difficult for me to set foot in your house again!!! It's unacceptable, frankly!!😡😡

Very good food with affordable prices. The dishes are diverse: hot, cold, buffet, pizza to compose yourself, grills, fresh juice. Sometimes during rush hours we waste time getting an overview of what is on offer because it is crowded. A free water fountain is available. Dishes to compose yourself or suggestions. Smiling and efficient staff. Restaurant to avoid between 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. due to the flow of people.

We came to eat but there were too many people. I can't understand why you are serving us if your restaurant is full and there is no room. In addition, the restaurant was extremely dirty. I had lunch Saturday 05.11 around 12:45 at the Manor restaurant in Vevey. I wanted to get the “Old Cheddar” Hamburger for 16.90.- with black bread. I ask the cook if he can prepare one for me. He tells me that it's not possible, that they're not making it today (there are, however, 2 huge signs in front of the restaurant that offer this burger....) He offers me burgers that he made in advance on a plate in front of him (with white bread) he assures me that he made them 3 minutes ago. I help myself. I ask him if I can have some fries. He tells me that there aren't any, but various side dishes are available nearby... I opt for potatoes. In the middle of a compact crowd and the surrounding hubbub, I try to get to a cash register to pay. Phew, the cashier is nice! I'm looking for a clean table to sit on, there isn't one. So I take some wipes out of my backpack and clean the table and chair myself before sitting down. I also notice that the floor is dirty. I see a poor gentleman alone, trying as best he can to group the trays, clear them and quickly "clean" the tables he passes by, too bad for the others! I taste my burger, surprise it’s cold! The potatoes are very poorly cooked (in a hurry). In short, it's nonsense. In conclusion : - the advertisements made at the entrance to the restaurant do not correspond to reality. - the cooks prepare the dishes as far in advance as possible to avoid cooking, which means it's cold. - the quality of the cuisine leaves something to be desired since everything is done quickly. - the service is mediocre and not worthy of Manor, you have the impression of being at Flunch in France. - the person who created the direction of traffic in the restaurant must be suffering from psychological disorders or the goal is for people to step on each other and there it is successful. - the tables are dirty. - The furniture is old and no longer up to date. Migros has renovated most of its restaurants. Honestly, Manor is no longer above the rest at all. If you want to eat properly before doing your shopping, it is better to go to Migros. At some point, you still have to ask yourself the right questions and rather than snickering and talking about your house in France in front of customers, certain managers and employees should concentrate on their tasks which is to satisfy the customer.

You can always find something to your liking, a meal or just for a snack or something to drink, lots of products are homemade, excellent value for money and friendly staff.

Well you have to like it.... Difficult to find your way around and know what to take or how the signage is lacking in my opinion. On the other hand, as a track or for orientation enthusiasts, an address not to be missed

Great value for money, quick and efficient for a midday break, the cooking is always respected... that said, the breakfast is great too... the pastries are delicious! Very pleasant terrace to enjoy in the sun! The only downside that sometimes makes me uncomfortable is 2 employees who don't have their eyes in their pockets, the looks are too insistent when you come with friends or alone and I find that inappropriate....they are often at the cash register what’s more, it’s therefore difficult to simply avoid them…

The lady who takes care of the pizzas, pancakes etc. is unbearable but in general the food is good. The children's corner needs to be reviewed because apart from chairs there is nothing. The price of drinks is to sleep outside! Fortunately there is a water fountain! The hygiene of the services leaves something to be desired!

I really like coming here, the dishes are quality, cooked in front of you. The prices are very reasonable. In the afternoon your pastries are very good and it makes for a pleasant break. The employees are always very nice.

Frankly catastrophic!! Everything is super tight, difficulty moving around and choosing your plate, staff not very pleasant because they are always stressed. You should take an example from Manora Monthey, management and setting up of the different stands, super logical and unique direction of rotation which makes the crossings fluid and the staff there are really really adorable, from the cook to the cashier.

Forgive me, this is not my favorite place...

Very good meal, lots of space, and the exterior is great, with a space for children, however in case of rain, be careful because the access to the mini play area is very slippery on the terrace.

In these times of Covid-19, hygiene and safety are the watchwords. I went to fresh to go the first week of reopening after confinement. Security for physical distancing was in place with disinfectant gel at the entrance. I decide for a takeaway Burger, it's the same young man from before Covid-19 who is behind the stove. I order and I wonder: why doesn't he wear a mask while these other colleagues do? Then I wonder again and why? No gloves either while my colleague has sushi yes!!! The time comes to finalize the burger and there....I WAS SPEAKLESS HE WAS ASSEMBLING THE BUGER WITH THESE HANDS WITHOUT GLOVES OR EVEN HAVING ONE TIME OR ANOTHER TO DISINFECT THESE HANDS. It is to you that I am speaking, ladies and gentlemen of the management, have you failed to inform this young man about the protection concept guidelines??? For my part, I won't be coming back to eat at your place for a long time!!

They have lots of different food. I took salad and noticed afterwards that they did not clean the salad (see picture) For the prices you can expect better quality.

The hamburgers are just excellent with the homemade fries and the sauce, nothing to complain about.

Good restaurant, the pizzas are good and made on site. The prices are not too expensive and it is suitable for eating something good without paying for table service, waiter etc... I was even surprised that people left their dishes at the table and we came to pick them up . As soon as there are people it is a little difficult to move around.

Great place! Magnificent welcome, clean place and the dishes are diverse and very healthy. I was served by a great young man, his name on the badge was H. Very professional and courteous!

The cafe is a nice location in vevey. The coffee is good, the sushi if done in front of you is good (otherwise if it’s prepacked it’s fishy), the pastries and chocolate milk are great. The fries is probably the worst I have had in vevey.

Very big problem with the staff. Half are great and professional but the other half openly criticize their colleagues in front of customers, don't say hello, not a smile, nothing…. we need to reorganize the interior because it's way too crowded at rush hour.

The food is good. The price is correct But....... A big shoutout for Mr. LAURENT DURAT, manager of this restaurant who forced me to put my little two and a half kilo chihuahua on the ground because it was dirty according to him... .... While this same ground was littered with food. He chased me in this restaurant, not letting me finish my plate! I wanted to be relaxed with my little cork on my knees. She didn't make a sound. Come on..... Let's work together to give this man a tender little heart. His is dry....
