Again hidden surcharge! If you order a portion of Rösti for CHF 9.50 you get about half or max. 3/4 of the portion from before, but the same price! The sour cream sauce included in the price is no longer available and cannot be made fresh. Another performance reduction for the same retail price. Unfortunately, another disappointment as a regular customer over 35 years old! However, I assume that this location will soon be replaced by a bistro (with a non-comparable range) and BurgerKing, this is probably Coop's strategy...

We love Marche. It has a good selection of food, always seating and the staff is very nice. The fact that the quality is still good after all these years speaks for good management.

Very good place to stop for a break and eat. The parking lot is large, the restaurant is too, it is bright and the choice of products is quite wide. The quality is very good and the value for money is interesting. Nothing to complain about

The food is similar to all Marche restaurants. Good, digestible and the price is fair. The service is always very good, I often come to Kemptthal and I always get a smile. The employees are always well positioned, even when things are a bit busy. The ambience is slowly becoming outdated and it almost gives the impression that a major renovation is coming soon and that everything is therefore being left more and more to its own devices.

Very expensive and many salads at the salad buffet are extremely oily. But the Asian menus with chicken are really outrageous. This doesn't look like sliced ​​meat, but rather like the leftover gristly meat from, for example, chicken thighs. What kind of meat is this? Addendum: Today we had beef goulash soup without ONE SINGLE piece of meat. Carrots and zucchini could be found. Nothing else, for almost CHF 10. This is very annoying and you feel misled in a way.

One (or more) children's menu for free and that includes a surprisingly great children's dessert. If you spend CHF 25 or more you get a free children's menu. From CHF 50 there are 2 children's menus. The included dessert is, for example, half a cream slice. The salad buffet is ok. Everything is fresh, but not too much choice. Also difficult to scoop. The Rösti, on the other hand, is a price-performance winner: small side Rösti, available with either a fried egg or another main course. We will be back.

A good buffet restaurant with high quality. The fresh ingredients and healthy food are a welcome change from the usual highway fast food chains. If you still want a sausage with fries, you'll get your money's worth here too. The salmon steak with salad was very tasty. You don't have to worry about parking spaces at a motorway service station, as there are understandably enough of them.

Nice and quiet place with little playground for the kids. Small variety for the food. I think they forgot salt for the rosty. It tastes like baked potato.

Unfortunately, at half past eight in the evening you can no longer feel much of the advertised freshness and care. The staff is primarily busy cleaning the displays so you have to stand out in order to be noticed. By the way, the promised curry sauce turned out to be onion sauce in the end. I just hope it's better during the day.

Kemptthal is one of my favorite rest stops, toilets and showers are always nice and clean and the food is tip top, it's also good that there is a small coop

Always fresh juices, vegetables, bread and salads. Three wonderful menus prepared on request. Enjoyed great service. Self-service. Personally, I like the freshly squeezed juices.

An ideal place to stop with children. They have two parks for children. It is full of fruits and vegetables and is very cozy. Baths cost €1.

I love being here. Everything is just perfect, you can sit, wherever you feel like due to the differences of the seating arrangement. There is a lot of variety when it comes to food, sometime you even have the possibility to order something special. Steph is very friendly and nice and supportive for kids. Typically Marché, fresh and fine (not just healthy) food - the prices are moderate - the selection is more than sufficient, plus friendly and helpful staff and a clean, well-kept restaurant. There is also a nice outdoor area and a small playground. Only the paid toilet for restaurant guests is a nuisance.

The rest stop is known for their cleanliness and high standard of maintenance. The stop offer well-kept restrooms, equipped with baby-changing facilities and accessibility features. Coop pronto is in the premises and you can buy snacks and cigarretes. Payment with apple pay and card available!

Very unfriendly staff in the kitchen, food not hot and fries were halfway raw. Way too expensive for what you get. Next time I'll go to Coop Pronto to get a sandwich, better and more of it.

Were very disappointed. Went to dinner at the Marche Kemptthal towards evening. Food no longer looked fresh. Offer very limited. The selection left a lot to be desired. There was nothing left except the grill with dried out ingredients and salad. You could also tell that the staff preferred to continue chatting together instead of serving us. This used to be a cool Marche with always fresh food. But unfortunately it is no longer that. Very unfortunate.

One star is merciful because there is no possibility of rating below zero. I'm definitely used to something different from Marché!!!

Unfortunately, chilli peppers are added to almost all dishes 🥲 Also in fried potatoes or boiled savoy cabbage, where you wouldn't expect it. Even in asparagus salad. You could simply put the chilli peppers next to it in a container and if you like chilli in everything you can have some.

Everything was very good, especially the friendly and competent staff. One point deducted because the (incidentally clean) toilets can only be reached via stairs. Maybe there is a solution for wheelchair users. Other “foot sufferers” have trouble. I'm also unhappy about the "diaper changing station" in the middle of the passage. On the other hand, it's better than changing diapers in the ladies' room (I'm widowed with a set of twins). I don't have a fundamental solution given these structural requirements.

The food was good and the service was very friendly. Lots of parking spaces and very clean. What I found extremely wrong were the showers. You pay 5 Fr. and when you enter the shower your shoes and feet are already wet before you have even showered. The ground was completely flooded. The reason for this is probably the drain, which does not drain properly and causes the shower tray to overflow completely. And then there was some substance on the wall. I didn't look at it any further, but it almost looked like mold to me. You also pay for it. Toilets were very clean in comparison.

A slightly larger selection of salads and vegetarian protein sources such as beans, tofu, eggs, edamame, cheese, etc. would complete the offer

The Wienerschnitzel and the rosemary potatoes were excellent, and the two vegetables that were available with it (zucchini and fennel) also tasted good. We arrived here in Kempthal: - first go to the toilet: 1 franc only gives you a voucher of 0.5 francs, but the men's toilet was no longer so clean and one of the two soap dispensers was empty! - Food was very good as before, but all prices were high. So-called week sausage (Schüblig in plain German) with side dishes now costs 19.5 Fr. - So that you don't have too many side dishes (that's my impression), you get smaller plates with the sausage. CONCLUSION: This Marche should easily yield 20 - 30% more profit!!!!. Sorry I didn't ask: the answer would probably have been Ukraine or Covid!! My rating for food would be 4 stars.

Sausage without side dish 10.95, packet of ketchup 0.95, sorry but for 2 drinks, chicken thighs with fries, 2xketchup and 2 sausages for 51Fr!!! And what's more, things weren't even what you'd expect from Marche. I am very disappointed with my favorite restaurant!
