I was invited by a friend to this restaurant, we ordered (lake perch fillet for 48 chf). After 40 minutes of waiting!! at 2:10 p.m. the dishes arrive, the perch almost brown and inedible, despite that I ate them with the help of sauces out of respect for my friend and the hunger and that the restaurant closes at 3 p.m., she expressed her dissatisfaction to the waiter at the In the end, I think it's not very professional to serve such expensive and bad dishes. I didn't feel well afterwards because of the unpleasant taste of the frying oil. I will never set foot in this restaurant again.

The waiter made a mistake in the order of service... main course as starter, soup as main course.... after my refusal, they insisted on serving this way with an excuse that deceives no one.... .. Unacceptable!!! .... So even if the waiter is indeed stupid, I came not to eat blah blah blah.... But many dishes in order and I paid full price! Thank you forever for coming back......! This is how you lose customers...

The Café des Marronniers is a wonderful address - to discover and share! The setting is as warm as the welcome and the service. The cuisine is both demanding and generous. The atmosphere is always smiling and friendly, whatever the time of day. A special thank you to Christophe for my daughter's birthday dinner: it will remain, for her 15th birthday, a delicious memory.

Very good pizzas, varied daily menus and often very good. Underground parking for easy parking nearby. Very noisy. The service is friendly, but slow when there are people. Avoid Wednesdays if you are allergic to children in restaurants...

Good surprise ! We stopped by by chance but were not disappointed. Perch fillets and delicious lemon sauce, flank steak with onions and a very good burger. Top notch and very attentive service! :)

Mixed food, too plentiful. A nice tuna tataki, but nothing more. A beef tartare that is too hearty, not great... The wine was okay. The high price, I find too high for what we were served. The waitress was smiling and attentive.

My sister and I had an excellent time this afternoon at Les Marronniers where we were very well received by Nicolas and his colleagues. We enjoyed an absolutely sublime Simmenthal steak, accompanied by small vegetables, fries and a sauce to keep you going at night, a veggie pizza very rich in various vegetables and fresh mushrooms, not forgetting the artichoke. with its foliage, as a starter, accompanied by its vinaigrette seasoned just right. Green artichoke that was worth the trip. It's simply incredible to still find an artichoke on a restaurant menu. The two espressos ended our meal with the same note of excellence. The atmosphere was really nice. It goes without saying that we will return there very soon. Thank you for everything! 😀👍

Very disappointing. The service is particularly long. We had to bring back the fondue because it was inedible. Closed to the show, no discounts following all the inconveniences encountered. On the other hand, when cashing out, we are cashed at the highest rounding to facilitate payment. Deplorable, to be strongly avoided.

8 people ate in this restaurant and we were hugely disappointed by the quality of the food which was really expensive for dishes that were not incredible at all. Poor service with forgetfulness when ordering and terrible staff who clearly lack experience in the catering field. I do not recommend this restaurant

Too much stress, anxiety from the waiters, forgetting orders, poor reception, instead of eating at the restaurant to relax, we ate under the uncontrollable stress of the waiters.

On a Sunday in the countryside, noon, hold the Café des Marroniers? What if we stopped to eat there? New owner apparently, young waiters who are quite casual and messy, the noise of passing cars, as long as the rest is more cheerful. French tartare recommended by the French waiter, perch fillets for my friend. The 8 small fish at 48chf cooked in flour have a mud taste, the tartare has a strong taste of faded meat that the spices cannot mask, the fries are cold. Not even want coffee or anything else, just leave and never come back.

I recently visited this restaurant and was disappointed with the overall experience. Although the food was satisfactory, the service was poor. We waited 45 minutes for our first dishes and another 10 minutes for our pizza. The staff forgot to bring us our wine, and our request for another pizza was never fulfilled. The price was quite high, which made me expect high quality service. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I found that the new owner was not following the line of conduct of the old one, and that was disappointing. I think this restaurant could use a stronger structure and more polite staff to provide an amazing experience. If these issues are resolved, this venue could be exceptional.

Customer for 40 years I have just had my last meal in this restaurant the reservation had not been made by the restaurateur the perch fillets frozen dry hard just disgusting the red wine and the spritz there is more because we are at the end of the month the meats way too cooked and the piece of pan-fried foie gras almost non-existent however the bill was full and the price high, don't waste your time and money at the chestnut.

We ordered pizzas and they arrived burnt. The dough was soft and the taste left something to be desired (very bland). If you want to order a pizza, avoid the small one because it is really tiny and ridiculous. You will pay 18CHF (vegetarian) for a small piece of dough 15cm in diameter with 2-3 vegetables on it. In short, I almost feel like I've thrown my money out the window. Such a restaurant should do better. WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I went to this restaurant once a few years ago, I had a mediocre experience in terms of service, friendliness and quality of the dish. This restaurant was recently chosen for a birthday, and it's a completely different dynamic that I found: Very warm service, generosity, and a super delicious meal (despite the slightly too salty fries). We were served by Evelyne, whom I salute for her impressive dynamism and thank her for her kindness. I came away from this moment with a new memory of this restaurant, now more positive!

Very disappointed for the 3rd time! I won't go back to eat there again. In Mr. Trohler’s time it was very good. Always full. So you see how long I've been going there. For several months a disaster. Hunting was not well served, lots of things were missing. Fondue: cheese in the middle in a ball and the fat around it. And there the top see photo “rib steak with sauce 123 on warmer served with fries with truffled brie at 38.- I am still looking for the sauce 123 and the fries with truffled brie sauce. And when I say that's not what I ordered, they tell me they haven't changed the placemats yet (where the card is written). I assure you I paid full price. It's no surprise to me that the servers change all the time. There is a bad atmosphere in this restaurant. At 10:30 p.m. we had to leave because we no longer had a cat. About a dozen tables on a Friday evening. That says it all…..a disaster….

Hello As much as I had a very good experience of this restaurant having often eaten there at lunchtime, last night I found this restaurant very average, everything was a failure. Service: not professional and distracted or even absent. Served dry or drowned in sauce. The Malakofs look like rubber and the perch fillets are dry and few in number. more comments...

How to explain such a difference in cuisine/service/communication between servers. We ordered perch fillets recommended by all the staff, the photo speaks for itself… A horror. Despite a commercial gesture of only paying for one plate out of two and a free coffee that I am still waiting for (I say that because it is on the bill!!) just like the second plate of perch).
