Good kebab, fresh fries, large portions, nice service and good ambience

I do not know what happened. I always ate a kebab there every Thursday and it was always great. But for 2 months it has tasted different and is heavy in the stomach. I no longer recommend it. I gave it a chance several times, thinking it might have been a one-time mishap, but there's something wrong with the meat

Exceptionally good dürüm and kebabs. And because it's so super good, all hell usually breaks loose at lunchtime. But the wait is always worth it. Simply fine...

Good food 1 time it wasn't so good but that was the exception. It's busy but it's still very quick to get your food. Good kebab shop, been there a few times for lunch. Will definitely come back.

Cozy kebab shop, large and the atmosphere is pleasant. The kebab is always delicious, the falafel was a bit dry despite the sauce. Definitely coming back.

The Yaprak Kebap is very good and the staff is friendly. One star deducted each because the delivery fee/minimum order quantity is very high (when ordering online) and the boss himself is not particularly friendly.

Very very bad experience the salad tomatoes were bad dürüm was not good the kebab box was over-saturated with sauce my colleague ordered without lettuce and tomatoes and was over-satisfied with sauce and tomatoes and salad never resisted that really can't be disgusting

Unfortunately, it seems to have slacked off a lot. We had Dürüm, meat was charred, tomatoes and dough tasted questionable. After the food put a lot of pressure on my stomach, I was plagued by diarrhea the next morning. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend it.

Definitely the best kebab in Frauenfeld. The quality of the meat was A1. Why only 4 stars for service and atmosphere: Order from machine. And rather too fancy shop. Not a conventional "döner kebab shop", which unfortunately loses a bit of its flair :)

Mega kebab ordered not a tomato not a drop of sauce just meat with bread!!!

Very spacious and brightly furnished large snack and takeaway restaurant. Quality of the products is very good. Flatbread is freshly made and tastes very good. Falafel is crispy and very appetizing. It has enough parking spaces. The service is friendly and also responds to special requests. Highly recommended.

Mehmet's Palace is the most beautiful kebab restaurant I have visited so far, bright, modern, stylishly decorated and very clean. The bread was freshly baked and the kebab was extremely tasty and full of stuff. A real treat! We ate here as a family and will definitely come back.

Yaprak kebab is very good and recommended. The meat is fresh and juicy, the spices are perfectly seasoned, and the price is ok. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a good kebab. Please take it without cocktail sauce 😉

Service extremely unfriendly! Stay away from this restaurant, especially if you want to eat with children. Was there yesterday with my son because the food is actually quite good at Mehmet's Place. Unfortunately our kebab plate wasn't what we ordered! I kindly told the seller that too. Then the guy completely freaked out, insulted us and kicked us out of the restaurant! Then I would say: learn German and listen to customers when they order. The head of the country still has room for improvement. But guys, the food is still very good and highly recommended!

Wanted to eat on site. Took 2 Yaprak with yogurt sauce. We then got 1 with yoghurt and one with cocktail sauce. I then complained about this. The waiter was then totally rude and took away the plates and put the money on the table and asked us to leave. So I've never experienced anything like that before. There are enough good kebabs in Frauenfeld, we will definitely not visit this one again. Who treats his customers like that.

I think everything is great, except the cocktail sauce is a bit too sweet, but otherwise everything is great!

Large portions, unfortunately the meat on the kebab plate was cold. The fries and sauces were good, the salad was okay. The kebab bread was homemade and very good. The place is nice and clean and there is parking right at the entrance. But we would rather go back to the “old” Mehmet Kebab.

When I first ordered the falafel pocket bread was incredibly tasty, there was a lot of falafel and the salad mixture with sauce fit together perfectly. French fries were the best we've eaten in our lives. But the second time it wasn't as good. French fries didn't taste fresh but falafel pocket bread was still good. The flatbread was also very good.

Best kebab around, especially Yaprak! Waiting times are never too long, even when it is full, due to the good organization.

I've been there once before and have rarely eaten such a good Dürüm as I did there! I took the Yaprak Dürüm, which actually contains meat (not minced meat) instead of sausage meat, tastes fantastic, the price is justified and quick and generous portions!

Mehmet is a very warm, friendly host. I've been eating kebabs exclusively at his kebab when I'm in Frauenfeld for 20 years and have never been disappointed. Always a highlight for us when we are in Frauenfeld. The best kebab in the region, especially the Yaprak variant.

Doner kebab box delivered without fork. Pocket bread was without hummus, even though I paid extra and there was too much onion, and the fries were soggy, the delivery person came 5 minutes early, I wasn't prepared for that. The food actually tastes good, but today I was upset.

The Dürüm was very tasty and also big. The Yaprak meat is great. The price is fair. I only found the surcharge for the feta to be relatively high. But all in all, I'm happy to pay a little more if the quality is good.

I hope the Asian guy washed his hands - I saw he touched the fries and meat with his bare hands... I was hungry that day, so I ate the kebab box, and it was OK, but I don't think I'll come back

I ordered a kebab yesterday and after I ate it I felt really sick and had a stomach ache. I had to throw up all night and I also had diarrhea. Something was no longer good, maybe the sauce or the meat… otherwise friendly service

Food is very good but expensive

Price performance is not right at all. Quality not good. Way too expensive. You can't order over the counter, only with that Order computer/screen. Also doesn't accept cash. I won't eat there again.

It's almost impossible to give a rating here because sometimes the kebab tastes very good or sometimes not at all. Depends on who makes the kebab... In addition, one supplier has been the most incompetent so far because he couldn't find my house even though it was right under his nose. Otherwise the store isn't bad And they fill well, don't skimp on meat, so I think you really get what you pay for :) But I have also experienced that, for example, the kebab box was only moderately filled with meat. Preferably at times when there isn't much going on.

I think it's great that the shop offers Yaprak meat and makes the pocket breads themselves. The prices, on the other hand, are very high in my opinion. It's somehow not entirely justified Edit after the owner's answer: Thanks for the clarification. I didn't know Yaprak meat cost so much. I didn't know that you relied on organic either. I really should come over so I can talk to you. So far I have only ordered. See you soon!

Simple but very nice kebab shop. Very nice staff, always clean and pretty quick even with a lot of customers. Can be a bit tricky with parking at peak times but otherwise always happy to go there.

Fresh homemade bread, what more could you want

Waiters didn't wear a mask! Certificate was not checked! Fries tasted bad, kebab was good because the bread was made out.

Food generally good… great location, nicely done… short waiting time.. but why does Werder's boss and other staff wear a mask?

11 Fr. For a vegi kebab. Where unfortunately it was very bad. The sauce was disgusting. Never again.

Mehmet is definitely taking advantage of his once good reputation here, but he is rarely at the counter here. Instead, there are sometimes 3 employees in the kitchen and one employee at the checkout (at least everyone is super friendly). When I was there at around 12.30 p.m. something was only ordered every 3-4 minutes. And yet no one checks the certificates (absolute NOGO!!!) and the restaurant is only partially clean. They just stand there, twiddling their thumbs and taking a sip of Ayran every now and then. What's that supposed to mean? I know kebab stands with 20 meter long queues at lunchtime, which are better served by 2 people than by 4 here. The food is also mediocre and totally overpriced. If I pay 11 CHF for a kebab, then it has to be very, very good to justify the price. Especially in such a remote location. I always wonder why the meat doesn't stay on the skewer longer. Some of it is cut off half raw and put in. You could still fry it on the plate. Then another 3 CHF each for additions such as feta cheese or hummus. Cool idea but don't exaggerate. I use the money to get a pack with five times as much at the co-op next door and can stuff it in myself. Nice location or not. With these employees it will never work and will forever remain an Ayverdi's copy.

Mehmet Palace is the new temple of Kepab in Frauenfeld! With fresh and homemade products, Mehmet and his family ensure enjoyment. I had doner kepab and it was amazing! Very warm welcome! I will definitely go back there very often!

Excellent restaurant with very friendly service. I have already tried the vegi-dürüm and also the falafel. Everything tastes very fresh, the home-baked bread tastes delicious and the ingredients, from the fresh vegetables to the fine sauce, are of very good quality. The airy location with plenty of space also invites you to linger. Gladly again!

When I opened the pizza box, I was very disillusioned and the anticipation of the oversized pizza vanished as quickly as my children and wife's disappointment became apparent. Instead of the specified 50cm pizza, we were greeted by a very delicious smelling pizza with a diameter of almost 44cm. I don't strive to measure a pizza, but when the round Italian traditional feast immediately questions the 50cm, the urge to measure it is called to the table, literally. Conclusion: Great delivery, great taste, unfortunately the size of the pizza to be ordered was not what was expected and the hunger was not satisfied.

Yaprak Kebap was really delicious, excellent bread and the meat was really great too. We recommend.

Personally, the kebab was far too saucy for me & the onions were not cared for enough. Which then results in Turkish farts. However, the Yaprak meat alone tastes very tasty. It tastes like an animal between chicken and goat.

One of the most modern and beautifully decorated kebab restaurants in the region. The ingredients are high quality and always fresh. Always very friendly service and no long waiting times. Had the best kebab in Switzerland here by far.

Yaprak with yoghurt and spicy...

Unfortunately postcards are not accepted. The Yaprak doner meat was not well done, since it is chicken it should be fried properly! (Salmonella) The standard Royal Kebab minced meat is just standard. Unfortunately my kebab was drowned in sauce! Way too much sauce. Very long waiting time in an empty restaurant. Of the two times we were there we were disappointed both times. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not right at all. Simple standard kebab starts at 10.50 CHF. You can expect a little more. We will no longer visit Mehmet's Palace, there are others that are cheaper and of better quality in the Frauenfeld region and the surrounding area. A pity!
