I visit Basel on a regular basis and can’t miss out on Mezzo and their Neapolitan Pizzas. My favorite restaurant in Basel by far. Thank you Tobias and team 🩶

Best pizza in all of Basel!!! 🇮🇹🍕

At Mühlhauserstrasse, the choice between different pizzas and pastas is limited. The menu is reduced and that’s so much the better! Here, quality is prioritized to offer the best Neapolitan pizzas in Basel, with an exclusively vegetarian menu. Airy, crispy and soft, the dough could be sufficient in itself as it is so tasty.

Quick service with pizza and pasta arriving together after ca. 10 min, the pizza dough was exceptional. The pasta (ravioli caccio e pepe) very good but a bit small.

One of the best pizzas in Basel. There is friendly service and everything is very clean. Gladly again.

I came here because a friend said it was the best pizzeria in town. He wasn't wrong.

Hands down one of the best pizzas I've had in my life, the dolci are also nothing short of delightful ! The cocktails we tried were also more than solid and made for a great start with the mezzo misto plate. Combine all that with a cool and well curated ambience and a very friendly and proactive staff and you're in for a real treat :) PS: Special thanks to Tobi and the two amazing waitresses for helping us with our reservation at Herz Basel ♥️

Great place, definitely coming back. Neapolitan pizza at its best and if your hunger hasn't been completely satisfied, I recommend the tiramisu as dessert.

The wine cocktail tasted very tasty, but I found the pizza rather disappointing as the expectations “as the best pizzerias in Basel” were also very high. It was ok, but actually had better ones, including Neapolitan ones and also in terms of the dough. Friendly, relatively quick service, but somewhat uncomfortable benches that don't encourage you to linger.

Had a very very good pizza. However, the tiramisu tasted very salty and sour and didn't look like tiramisu but more like liquid mascarpone on a dry biscuit. The last visit was completely different. We each only had a small bite as it seemed very salty to everyone, but we were all charged for it in full.

Good vegetarian pizza and pasta. There are classic and more original flavors, with a minimum of ingredients and an accent on herbs and spices. Friendly and a bit disorganized service. For summer there is a terrasse directly on the sidewalk.

Great pizza and very friendly service. The price menu doesn't have much to choose from, but that's nice because what's conjured up in the kitchen is even more delicious. We tried two different pizzas and both were delicious. Absolutely recommended and best reserved.

Very fast service and nice staff! Pizza was amazing as well as the pasta. Only the portion of the pasta could be a tiny bit better, therefore the 4 out of 5 stars.

The pizza was excellent and the service was attentive and very friendly. The restaurant is exceptional and very stylish. The only thing that bothered me was the extremely high noise level. Entertaining was relatively difficult, which could also be because the restaurant was full on Friday evening :)

Mezzo, a family place with creative, seasonal, vegetarian and vegan cuisine. A holiday feeling can also be created with a coffee, wine or drink on the terrace or at the bar.

The Notorious 801 and the Squadra team guarantee super delicious vegan and vegetarian food in a cozy atmosphere. A real (secret) tip for everyone in and around Basel! Dear vegetarian friends: it's worth eating here.

This is a great place to find good food and drink as well as to meet interesting people and it is constantly developing and innovating. The team is very human and always attentive, ready to realize what the guests want and beyond to create new things to guide good spirit youbee 👍🙏

Nice restaurant, with young customers and a particular menu: it is hand written and changes every week. The choice is limited, but the food quality is acceptable. The environment is friendly and the music good. If you go for the beer, choose the caraff

It's great that the Milan pop-up restaurant is open again. The food is excellent. Regional, organic, made with love. You can taste that. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service is warm and courteous. Good music. You immediately feel comfortable. A unique restaurant in Basel.

It's bigger than expected. Available from Thurs. - Sat. A LUNCH MENU. It's very comfortable there. It's run by six people at the moment. Something is fuming here. I was offered a coffee. VERY NICE!! They are just There until the end of April, placed. More of a culture place.

Food was super tasty, the concept was a bit obsessively “different”. Full marks for the dishes and compliments to the kitchen. Prices are rather high and so far only cash.
