Is it normal that they sell stale bread for 4.60? The bread was at least 2 days old and they sell it at full price?

I have known this bakery for a very long time. I have never been dissatisfied, but recently I had a question why they advertise a coffee for 4 francs 50 with a croissant? But the saleswoman counted everything separately for us. As there were a lot of people I preferred to write to Michellod directly on their site. I never got a response and that saddens me greatly.

The bakery products are great. The price of the drinks is not great, too expensive and we don't even talk about the teas where the small cup is only half full, the rest for the metal basket with the tea...The service is great depending on the person doing it.

For me and for many people who live around the central square in Monthey, even those who are far away, we are used to it. I would say that it is an extraordinary chance to have a magnificent bakery like Michellod next to us, also, for the quality of the products they offer us and above all the good, friendly people who are used to welcoming us with joy. Happy I am for all kinds of breads, cakes and other products that our bakery offers us every day even on Sundays, on weekends no worries in any case.

Tea room which offers a very varied and nice choice of tea. The pastries are expensive but worth the detour. The staff is smiling and helpful. A small terrace is available despite the proximity to the road, it is appreciable.

I went there on a Sunday. The saleswoman at the bakery didn't even crack a smile and spoke to me very curtly. I felt like I was being scolded by my mistress... Finally I asked her why she was talking to me like that and I left without buying anything. I won't go back there.

After giving this bakery several chances, we were almost disappointed every time. If we go there after 10 a.m. there is nothing left. As for the service, we really need to review our manners... The salesy waitresses are never pleasant, limit the impression of being a nuisance. I go there with my husband, and our impression is always the same... to stay there as short as possible. We tried several times because it is the only bakery that is open all day on Sunday in Monthey. Now we prefer to deprive ourselves than to go there.

Really disappointed with the croissants, raisin breads and vanilla breads picked up in the morning at 7am and eaten at 8am, all dry! A high price for poor quality. The second star goes for the raspberry cake which was good
