Migros in Lugano

The scales for vegetables have been added. Compliment. Unfortunately, the staff's friendliness has dropped again. Prices are often not transparent (one sign - of course the cheapest - for several similar but different priced product variations). Should the customer only notice it at the checkout or, better yet, not at all? Questionable morals.

The convenience of Migros is known to all, the supermarket is well organised, clean and quite complete. It has irreplaceable products (some types of ice cream, as far as I'm concerned), a quality fruit and vegetable department. Thank you.

Migros Department Stores and Supermarkets are an institution in Switzerland and synonymous with quality. In the Migros assortment there are many brands of own-produced products, both food and non-food. The prices are affordable (by Swiss standards) and the staff is not stressed, friendly and immediately ready to help advise you or look for what you can't find. Of course I also buy in other shops and discount stores.

We've been there a few times at this Migros, every time we come in the afternoon there is very little choice, no normal sandwich or puff pastry like ham croissants or salad but otherwise the staff is very friendly 😉

The staff at information desk was not so friendly and helpful, the carrots I brought in Lidl are so much sweeter.

A large and well organized store. There is a wide variety of products. In addition, the patisserie and coffee section have enough taste and variety to compete with tourist cafes. After doing a little shopping, you can drink your coffee and eat a crispy croissant on the streetside.

Those who go shopping feel cheated due to the poor quality and quantity compared to the prices. I wonder the manager who works has, if not, notices these obvious deficiencies. Then the staff! Some are truly rude, trained in form and not in the correctness that those who interact and are in contact with the public must have. There is an atmosphere of taking in as much money as possible, without respect, if not great hypocrisy. The person in charge will certainly have incentives in the monthly collection, which is why they purposely bring in psychopathic crocodile people. Then they are taking advantage of it because we are confined and under house arrest. Prices increased without criterion! From 25 to 40%! Why? Poor and expired products. Have the products analyzed and they are full of fat/sugar/salt. Unfortunately sheep don't distinguish, they eat only by instinct.

The building is very beautiful and well organised, but sometimes the staff is not up to par. I was looking at a product and accidentally dropped it, then immediately picked it up and put it back. I left and I heard a sales assistant say “'but this isn't a playground, but can you do it?! (I quoted the exact words) I'm sorry, but this is not very kind or professional.

I went for breakfast here this morning, inadequate staff, old croissants, the cappuccino cold and full of air bubbles because obviously whoever made it doesn't know how to make milk cream. Really bad service!

Variety of products, good, beautiful and expensive

I like this Migros centre, because the supermarket is large and there is a lot of choice of food products, then on the ground floor there is the pastry shop and the little bar, other floors are for clothes, women's, men's and children's shoes, books and articles for the home ... truly complete

Parking from the Middle Ages... if you forget to pay the ticket and insert it, it is no longer given back and you have to pay 50 francs to get another one... simply returning the ticket, no, is it better to punish the customers of your shopping centre?

Friendly staff had a cornetto with crema and a cappuccino, both of which tasted delicious. Prices very cheap a cornetto for 2.30 francs. The pizza a taglio is also recommended.

Very organised, large, always stocked and very often there are discounts on expiring goods. Very tactical location, the only big flaw is the grocery store in the first basement! Maybe just a matter of habit.

Stunning place, there's everything

I've been going to Migros every now and then since I was a child. I love coming back here, the atmosphere has never changed, and the staff is always courteous. It seems like people feel comfortable here.

Large supermarket in the center of Lugano. In the basement there is the food section, on the ground floor there are various take away options: sandwiches, pizza, salads, sushi, hot meals and pastries. On the upper floors you can find household and hygiene items, toys and DIY items.

The Migros in the center of Lugano is great! Everything as usual from other Migros branches! The food court is particularly worth mentioning! This offers a large selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices.

A Migros where I feel very comfortable, well stocked

Huge Migros store in the centre of Lugano. Great food selection on the basement level along with a pick up point for DHL. Ground floor has a take away or sit in restaurant. Other floors have electrical and electronics plus floors for household and clothing too. The floors have other small stores around too.

Migros is certainly one of the best department stores in Lugano. The grocery section is large and very well stocked. There is also a large car park. The only real flaw: there is no real entrance to the shop and it is practically impossible for a passer-by to notice the existence of a supermarket and several warehouse floors.
