Migros Restaurant in Meiringen

The food is bland, often cold and although cheap (ish) for Swiss standards, it is mass catering, not cooked on site, and rarely good value for money. However today it also came with unhelpful and very unfriendly service which, to be fair is unusual. If you can afford it, go elsewhere.

The food was rather average, but it is a good option for a budget meal. We arrived around 2pm and the variety of meals was down to 2 options, so probably better to arrive earlier. The service was fine, we needed to wait a bit for our food to be ready but it didnt take more than 5min. Even though it is a fast food type of restaurant, the tables were clean and there are quite many of them.

Migros was better... I had lunch a little earlier today, but the food in the buffet was almost cold. Unfortunately, I have experienced the same thing in other branches and think it has to do with the shortage of skilled workers.

Nice Migros restaurant. Parking nearby. Delicious sweets and a colorful salad buffet. The staff makes customers wait at the checkout. The offer to get coffee cheaper with a piece of patisserie didn't work. I paid full price for the coffee. 👎

Ordered a large portion of French fries from the Migros Restaurant today. Fries were scooped out of the warming device. When I asked if the fries were still hot, I was answered "YES" with a questioning look. Unfortunately, the fries weren't even warm anymore, so I took the liberty of returning the product. Again the questioning look from the lady behind the counter, then I get the hot fries. Please pay a little more attention to the quality and product care, as you are paying the full price. Unfortunately, the outside area (terrace) seems very unkempt, some of the tables and chairs were still wet and dirty, and the table was never cleaned during our 45-minute stay. I would also be very happy about more friendliness and benevolence. The loading staff could learn a lesson from this. Thank you for your understanding.

S all good. Except that I find it tedious to ask for the certificate, which the employees come to when you are with a tray to take things and not right in front of the restaurant or at the checkout, because you have to pay there anyway.

The restaurant closes at 6:00 p.m. We were there at 5:23 p.m., unfortunately the employee was in the kitchen and didn't come to us even though she saw us. When the employee finally came after 5 minutes, she told us that we could only order warm food until 5:30 p.m. The kitchen is now closed. It was only 5:28 p.m. at this time and both deep fryers were still on. When she turned us away, she put the fryers down in front of us and covered them. Please stick to your own statements and serve customers a few minutes before the kitchen closes. Very disappointed, we went to another restaurant.

Pra que procurar outro lugar?

The morning meal, breakfast, is very interesting. For an additional charge of 1.80 CHF you can get a second coffee of your choice.

You generally eat very well in the Migros Restaurant, whether in Meiringen, Rosenberg, Neuwiesencenter, Römertor in Oberi or in Frauenfeld. It has a rich salad buffet, dessert buffet, etc., which is also very nice and clean. The prices are also reasonable. Highly Recommended!!!

I know two people who work at Migros but they aren't mentioned by name. They're both so great that's why I go to Migro. The food isn't particularly good. Above all, it depends on who doesn't cook a cruet on the tables but the service at the checkout is great If you have any questions, please contact the cashier. Otherwise, look for another place to eat, i.e. schnippo or chicken wings, which you can always eat and order, giving you a bit of a gastronomy experience

Great place to get all you groceries when at Meiringen. It has a nice coffee and restaurant corner. Great for kids to play.

The service was friendly. The supermarket is just oposite so it is a good place to do grocery and then eat something. The sausages were tasty, we got adviced that they will take 15 mins to prepare the food, a bit slow for a kinda fast food restaurant but the quality of the food is good. There is also a salad buffet. Washroom is paid like in many places in Switzerland but is weird that you do your grocery there, eat there and then they charge you for the use of the wc. This place is ok and is a good option for those visiting Reichenbach waterfalls.
