THE FOOD TASTES GOOD AND IS VERY CHEAP

We were there for breakfast, it was delicious, the atmosphere was quiet and the view of the Spiez Bay was beautiful. And all at a moderate price.

Went to the restaurant this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. Bratwurst menu and autumn plate menu. Almost cold vegetables and bratwurst, fries hard and inedible. Just miserable food! Why do you have to turn off the warming containers, grill and deep fryer so early? Save electricity? Employee laziness? With real heat something could have been saved. Please go over the books!!! The range of desserts was extensive and very good.

Pretty good food but the view is the highlight. Good for a relatively quick stop before catching the train.

I drank a mineral drink there. The cashier was very nice. I really liked the atmosphere with the colorful chairs and the view of Lake Thun was wonderful.

Basic self-service. Not much more to say. It's clean, there are games for children. It remains self-service in terms of food (where fries will be great allies). In terms of price, it is acceptable but it remains expensive (like all of Switzerland).

Why is every dish dipped in butter? Since I travel a lot in Switzerland and visit a lot of Migros restaurants, I know that this is not common. But as a vegan you don't have the option to eat anything warm here. When I asked why that was the case, I was told if I wanted something vegan I should look for a vegan restaurant. Not up-to-date….

This is a buffet-style restaurant with a lake view. A size L bowl costs 14.9 francs. You can put your food in a bowl of the desired size and bring it to the counter to pay. Menus, desserts, and drinks cooked to order must be paid separately. I think the price is reasonable for travelers. Personally, I liked the many potato menu options.

7 lunch menus, none of them vegetarian, let alone vegan... Paid for a bit of salad and potatoes (without any option for vegetarian protein) 18.- francs. Employees smoke one after the other (on the admittedly wonderful lake view terrace) and leave their own trash... definitely expect more!

Cordon Bleu was good, but the portion with fries and spinach was measly small. For the price, Fr 18.-, I expected a larger portion. Still hungry afterwards. If I could have, I would have eaten the cumulus points ☹️

We arrived at 4:30pm and even though it would be open up to 5pm there was barely any food left and they wouldn't make any hot dishes anymore. The service was not nice at all. The salad and desserts that were still available were quite good though.
