Mikado Terrassière in Genève

This is a quick and easy store to grab some lunch/dinner. I had an arrangement of sushi, wakame salad and the star of the meal: their aubergine. I loved all of the food and would definitely recommend this place. The staff was very kind and helpful.

I'm a big fan of Mikado (Manor, Plainpalais and Pâquis) but the one from Eaux-Vives is really not as good as the others. I do not understand why. I have been several times and I have always been disappointed, the slices of fish are much smaller and thinner, the presentation is sloppy and they are less tasty (spicy tuna and spicy salmon, missing the spiciness each time) You deserve sincere feedback because I am a big fan of Mikado but that of Eaux-Vives is really below in terms of quality. 🥲 Hoping you can spread the message 💌

I eat lunch here a lot so I know the names of the food well. I said it was sweet soja sauce, but they gave me miso soup and I said no, and then they mistakenly gave me a different sauce, which I said was wrong, but they gave me the wrong sauce again, which was very annoying. After switching to the source, they didn't give me my money back. Miso soup is 3.40 francs and the sauce is 0.3.

I was craving sushi and this place was rated well on google so we decided to try it out. It’s a self serving sushi place but there’s seating inside which is convenient. The food is good, some items are a bit of hit or miss but overall it was good. The only thing I’d have liked if this was fresh like the gyozas were not made immediately on order and the sushi are all pre-made, if only they were made to order like an authentic restaurant, it’d have been five stars. The lady at the counter was very sweet and accommodating

Went to eat here today the sushi is acceptable its not the ultimate highest quality but it does the job, and honestly for the price you probably wont find better in Geneva. The good part about this place is that it has air conditioning (great on hot days) and the system makes it so that you dont really have to interact that much with the people that work there which is nice if you dont feel like talking to the waiters and doing the whole restaurant routine... you basically choose your sushi which is already pre prepared the prices are visible there then you take it to the cashier pay and then sit wherever you want. When youre finished you just throw the container in the trash and leave...they also have some cool japanese drinks including green tea, beers and japanese sodas (ramune). I recommend this place.

This place doesn't know about climate change, speciesism, sustainability and hunger. They are throwing again unsold food every evening. Be careful with their soy sauce, it is very concentrated so you may want only slightly dip it or dilute. Staff speaks english and there were no misunderstandings.
