The food is super delicious. But: The restaurant looks like an old dive bar! Interior from the century before last. And the toilets are really disgusting!! The building should be torn down! I trust that the kitchen is clean...

The food was actually good, there was one complaint but it was resolved without any problem! Service good and friendly! Unfortunately one of the ladies was a little grumpy!

I don't want to talk about the service... As always, the food was SUPER and mega tasty, many thanks to the “Chuchi team”. Very good price/performance ratio.

Had dinner for the first time yesterday and was totally thrilled. You get huge portions at low prices and it's also very tasty. The leftovers can be packed up without any problems. The staff is very polite and attentive. Always happy and I can only recommend it.

Cozy for everyone from small to old. Service was very accommodating, inside simple, rustic and cozy. Garden restaurant available, parking spaces available. Food and portions excellent. The military plate and the cord en bleu are highly recommended. Price performance top

Extremely friendly people and really nice staff. The portions are large and the burgers are good. They have good beer and the atmosphere is nice, reminding me of a old inn, everything is made of wood and the music they played was American country which was a plesant thing to hear inside the heart of a city in Switzerland. They have free parking outside and if the parking spaces there are full it's easy to find another spot nearby. It's also conveniently placed! If you drink there you can easily walk to the trainstation with out a problem.

Simple, delicious, home-style cooking... Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for our food, which left us quite dissatisfied because we were going to an event afterward and couldn't really enjoy the food. A pity.

As always, a top Cordonbleu. More aks enough for a fair price. The ambience is a bit old, as is the military garden. But I can recommend it.

With pleasure, we were there with the association for a board meeting. We had to go into the smoking room and one member just left when he saw this. Afterwards it was so loud from the regular guests that we almost couldn't understand each other

Absolutely no longer recommended. There are no longer small menus. This in today's world where food waste is an issue. No more menu after 30 minutes. Alternative Schnipo. Soup and salad used to be either or. Reason: Everything has become more expensive. Menu 18.- Schnipo had 2 schnitzels, one of which would have been enough. Price justification extremely doubtful.

I must have eaten lunch in the military garden 20 times or more in 2021. The food was always very good and the portions were more than enough for me. Accordingly, I can recommend the restaurant.

Everything is very delicately cooked. The portions are too big - a small portion is enough.

was there today. Food was catastrophic, service was unfriendly. and the host has nothing better to do than go to the neighboring hair salon and tell the guests there to move. and that in an empty parking lot. a real indictment, especially when your own pp is empty... for me once and never again.

Super good cuisine, it's just a shame, they deserved a gourmet star long ago!! The menu is very inexpensive and affordable for everyone and the staff is very friendly!! So, enjoy your meal!

Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, courteous, quick and always with a smile. The food was first class. I am a big eater and am always completely satisfied with the quantity and the very good quality of the meat. Beautifully arranged plates, everything was very clean and in the evening there was a nice atmosphere under the lanterns with round cards at the table. Military garden has become one of the top addresses in Thun and 😊 I like to go there with friends and family to unwind with good food and top staff, best regards 🖐😊

Food is OK. Portions are large. Price is small. The ambience and the restaurant interior need to be renewed.

Saw the large group of soldiers here all eating the cordon bleu and knew it must be good. It was! And it was huge! One would easily feed two people. No English menus available but the waitress was very helpful and we got by just fine. Would definitely eat here again!

Thank you for the fast response. When we visited them, the waiting time during the "breakfast" was relatively long. Since we only have a 15 minute break, you shouldn't have to wait that long. We'll definitely come back and then we'll see if anything has changed. I wish you all the best.
