Moderne Bar & Karussell in Luzern

Don't let us in after 45 minutes without a reason. People come out all the time but they won't let us in.

Overall it was good, but the music was monotonous.

The bouncer was antisocial and disrespectful. Kicked us out for an unnecessary reason.

For me it is one of the most beautiful and best locations in Lucerne and a real enrichment for the nightlife. I can only recommend it and it is definitely worth a visit.

The bar would basically be really great. However, the music was way too loud all evening. A normal conversation was hardly possible. I think people should be able to talk to each other in a bar. In addition, it is very questionable if the music is between 90-100 decibels loud for several hours (recorded by the  Watch). I assume that you want guests who leave your restaurant healthy and not hearing impaired. Either you don't place the loudspeaker directly next to the tables, or you turn down the music by 15 decibels. Even then the music would still be loud enough to entertain because the music selection was very good! If it's better on my next visit, then I'll be happy to give it 5 stars ☺️ And no, I'm not an old man who can't stand the music anymore.
