Never again. This is not even adjacent to a decent experience.

Lots of vegan starters. The restaurant is a bit dark, the terrace is rather narrow and directly on a busy street.

The food is alright but the restaurant was fully empty to where the server said that it's fully booked and there were even tables with no reserved placks on it. We sat,ordered and finished eating with only two more tables being occupied. The manager is nice with the service. Needs improvement.

Delivery took 80 minutes! Ordered a chicken sandwich, what I got is a salad wrap! Food is horrible and tasteless.. This is not what lebanese food tastes like.. such a disappointment

I ordered for the very first time from Le Monto Restaurant, and my order was Shisha Tawouk for 35.- chf. You would expect it to be amazing, but it was actually disgusting. Never have I ever before paid for something over 30 chf and receive, old soggy fries, over cooked chicken vegetables that soaked in vinegar and to top it up hummus that didn't even taste good, let alone the amount I got. I called the restaurant, and the person who answered didn't even speak back to me when the phone hung up they never called back. I hope Le Monto understands why I'm making this post because i also work in restaurants. Your food was disgusting.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at the Monot Restaurant last Friday. We were together with two foreign friends. We ordered the Monot Queen plate with 7 mezze. Everything was authentic, delicious, fresh and very tasty with generous portions. The Fatayer and the Samboussak Jibneh mezze were particularly appreciated. Our friends were also very pleased. Fadi, our waiter, was very friendly, smiling, and helpful. He speaks several languages which was helpful for our international group. Fadi gave us excellent and quick service. He even had a special conversation about Lebanese wines with one of our friends. We look forward to returning. I have no problem in recommending the Monot for a delicious and pleasant meal, especially with Fadi as your waiter.

Ordered via Uber eats, food arrived 30 minutes late, which can happen from time to time. Price-performance ratio is not right at all. We ordered the platter with 9 different mezzes and what we got for 47.- was definitely not enough. There was 1 piece of each of the different mezzes: 1 falafel, 1 stuffed vine leaf, 1 samosa, 1 feta ball. The rest (baba ganoush, hummus, rice etc) were put together in takeaway containers. There, too, more than was saved and the containers were also leaking and smeared all over with oil. This order definitely did not meet our expectations and contrary to the reviews that the portions are large. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed and expected more based on the positive reviews. The food is absolutely disgusting! Covered in grease!!! I never had such a bad food delivered. All Mezze have been tossed together into a box. Everything was mushed together. We ordered quite a lot but 2 out of the 4 boxes leaked and the oil spilled everywhere. On top of the two main courses was so much oil. I’m still shocked. We didn’t even receive everything we ordered. Half of the Mezze were missing! The beef for the main course was also missing! After a few bites we tossed everything in the trash. That’s where this food belongs!!! I contacted the restaurant multiple times. They still haven’t responded yet! They told me the owner will call me. But this still hasn’t happened. The food was not edible. Gross and absolutely disgusting!!! Usually we order at ZaZaa where the food is delicious, fresh and nicely packed and presented. But sadly ZaZaa wasn’t open on the day we ordered. I will NEVER order from this place again. Such a disappointment!

Very dissapointed with the food. I ordered because it got high scores on trip advisor but regretted it almost immediately as soon as I opened the boxes of food. Salad was fine. Rice looked like it was a few days old, the chicken was extremely dry and very salty, most of it went in the bin unfortunately although we hate wasting food. The safayeh were not safayeh, the pastry was so dry and filling was terrible. Very dissapointing. We won't be ordering again and will not be recommending.

I called the restaurant to ask what they would suggest and the 9-piece mezze platter was on offer for October so we ordered 2 of these to enjoy with our 2 little girls, that way we got to taste a few different dishes. Everything was delicious! From the hummus and baba galoush to the falafels and tabouleh (omg!) Homemade. Fresh. Tasty. First time Lebanese food, and we loved it! I love the Baba Ghanouj, but we order the Monot Royal, which includes 9 different Mezze so we could try everything. Chateau Kefraya was the wine to perfectly match the food and after the meal ofcourse one Arak and some Baklawa as dessert. Friendly service and clean place. We are definitely going back there.
