Montreux Jazz Café - Pont-Rouge in Lancy

Very nice choice, but one of the waitresses is detestable, too bad because the rest is great!

Very good dish with unusual flavors, the decor referring to the Montreux Jazz Festival is very nice and offers us a good lunch break.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Montreux Jazz Café at Lancy Pont Rouge neighborhood of Geneva. The food is good enough for quick lunch if in the area. Prices are decent. They also gave quite a fee almond-filled chocolate with coffee which was a nice gesture.

The place is cool but the waiting time is really long.

It's too expensive for the quality of the meal. I had the poultry supreme for 29CHF. It was impossible to eat it, because it was served in a small bowl and the pieces were large and bone-in. So, I only finished the rice, which was on the side (it was good).

Very nice frame In the afternoon not many people. Very nice waitresses. I'm not rating the food because I only had one coffee.

Place decorated in the style of the Montreux Jazz Festival. We had to wait a good 10 minutes before ordering a drink and then wait again for the meal order. Some dishes were passable (linguine) and others very good (tuna tataki or hamburger). In short, don't be in a hurry.

Food not too bad, service negligible, in a group avoid ordering your drinks not grouped otherwise you will be reprimanded by the waitress. Too bad I don't know if we will ever go back there.

Fast and quality service. The dishes tasted were tasty, and the quantities correct.

Dish of the day yesterday: Thai pasta and undercooked meat. Since this meal I haven't stopped vomiting, body aches, generalized weakness -> food poisoning? I'm really not well... Nothing to say about the service but frankly I don't know what they put in this dish...

Very large premises but few seats and few service staff. The food is OK (I don't recommend the fish & chips though - small portion, no taste, very fatty) but very small menu so we had a quick look around. Slow service, always ask for the bill as soon as they come to clear it! The desserts are good though.

First visit, just time for a coffee. Nice decor, nice music and nice staff. I can't wait to try their cuisine.

Met a friend for a coffee between two trains. Excellent service, the place is really cool. Considering this is under a train station, kudos!

Beautiful decoration and beautiful layout. On the other hand, very restrictive that they only accept cash...

We ate last night at the Montreux Jazz Café Pont-Rouge and were pampered by Célia who was serving. We dealt with a young woman who was cheerful, smiling, very attentive and efficient. We opted for 2 vitello tonnato/prawns and a sea bream tartare. When ordering, Célia very kindly informed us that the cook had chosen to replace the veal with turkey in order to keep the price attractive. This was a first for us and we were not disappointed, the dish was excellent and the sauce delicious. The sea bream tartare was perfect. At the end of the meal, our waitress heard that we were celebrating our mother's birthday, and spontaneously added a candle to her dessert. A big thank you to Célia and the cook for their welcome and their professionalism. We will return to eat in this restaurant whose setting and decoration are magnificent and highly recommend it.

Cool trendy café with a nice "Co working" table to stay for a moment

A delicious restaurant with a nice atmosphere and not crowded or noisy, which is what I loved most. The burger is very delicious, and the service is excellent. Prices are as usual in Geneva. Suitable for work or meeting with friends.

The team is great. The price is affordable. With the terrace for this good weather, it's really great. Thursday evenings with music and family to entertain the children.

The service, the decor, the delicious dishes... everything is perfect!

Restaurant that I highly appreciate for the following reasons: -- heartwarming welcome -- nice touches, even just the appetizer with the dish of the day and the chocolate with the coffee -- cooking of meats respected (when I ask for blue, it's blue!) -- tasty original dishes (e.g. croque-monsieur with black bread or slow-cooked beef cheek!) -- availability of staff, including cooks In short, a restaurant where life is good.

Very good times had, a delicious meal for both adults and children. Personally, I took a hot dish off the menu: the salmon was killer, I didn't leave a crumb. And it was the same for dessert: chocolate mousse. There were 4 of us and we left 4 empty plates. To do again without problem why not one evening, or concert evening or for their after work...

Splendid place. The decoration is superb and the concept is very nice: half café with takeaways, and half restaurant. I tried the dish of the day and it was very good. (I came a little before the midday rush, that's why there's no one in the photos)
