We were there yesterday (Valentine's Day). We made reservations and arrived promptly at 8 p.m. The staff seemed very disorganized and hectic. We waited 15 minutes for the menu only to find out that today there was only dS Mezze for 2 people. It's a shame you didn't say that when you made your reservation! Food was ok. Mezze were fresh but unfortunately not well seasoned. Plastic bowls, what a shame! The main course was not appealing, the lamb skewer was fried to death. The rest was carelessly served on a small plate. A pity. I understand the stressful evening, but the cell phone was more important to the staff than serving the guests

We were greeted by an employee at the entrance. Everyone in the restaurant was attentive and nice. Not a long waiting time. We were delivered mezzes and were able to help ourselves. We were really full. We enjoyed the meal with our team and I will remember it. I'm from ZH and unfortunately not always nearby.

Price-performance ratio is not right for me. No menu available online at all. According to the meat declaration, only beef from Switzerland. Lamb from New Zealand and chicken from Brazil - why?! We had two starters, two main courses with meat, two alcoholic drinks as an aperitif and tea. Total CHF 131.- The marinated carrots that were placed on the table at the beginning were simply left open on the counter in the entrance area for take-away service. All dishes had an unpleasant basic acidity, which somehow gave everything the same basic taste. It wasn't anything special for me and I wouldn't necessarily want to eat there again. Lebanese can be eaten much better elsewhere in Bern. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very inviting and pleasant. The service was untrained (awkward due to the other's glasses being served by drinks, a teapot for both was placed in front of my tea glass, so that I had to reach around to grab the glass to be able to drink, and even more.

I was invited to a Lebanese meal, this for the first time... Curious about what awaits me here, I have no knowledge of this culture... beautifully located, quiet - subdued light, simple, appealing atmosphere... warm welcome, table accompaniment, traditional background music ... Menu card well structured, clear, not too much, not too little selection, well explained, the details content... It was a symphony of spices and flavors that meandered around the palate... 1000 and 1 night... Service coordinated quickly... Only the lady's face came across as a bit bored and annoyed... It's a shame, it probably wasn't her day...

The food was good, but I expected better. We ordered shawarma and mixed grill. Grill was good but shawarma was not like our Arabic shawarma. Service was nice and friendly. :)

Excellent .. Saturday night 8pm and it was really busy but served with charm and hospitality. So lucky we booked a table for the four of us (2 adults and 2 teens). We 4 had the MEZZEH 1001 NACHT 4 Personen - 14 small bowls of lots of great things to try such as mixed grill: Kafta (gehacktes Rindfleisch), Shish Taouk (mariniertes Pouletfleisch), lammspiesse, Reis, Bulgur oder Pomme. Definitely coming back !!!

Top notch Lebanese cuisine! Mont Liban impressed me in every way. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, the staff is very attentive and extremely friendly, and the food is simply sensational. The best hummus and falafel I have ever eaten. The chicken shawarma was of the highest quality and definitely recommended. Thank you very much and I look forward to the next visit.

I was there a few days ago, great dinner and very good service and friendly environment!

We arrived at Mont Lebanon restaurant. The waiter started questioning us about where we are from. After 15 seconds the restaurant manager came, the feeling was horrible, we felt like we were being interrogated in an unpleasant way. It felt like we were in an interrogation room. We understood that this place is owned by a racist people, who probably understood our source, and left it in a mature way after feeling unsafe, in order to avoid unnecessary conflicts. I don’t know about the food and can’t relate, but this place needs to be shut down immediately regardless of the quality of the food, nonetheless after what happened in Europe in the past which can not happen again, especially in 2023. Not recommended at all by any means and I hope that this review would make the right buzz.

All around great restaurant! The food is outstanding and the staff also stand out for their friendliness and good service. The maximum grade is more than deserved, I'll be happy to come back.

In the evening the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant. Only the tables are a bit too small, which has a negative impact on the feeling of well-being. Well attended on this Tuesday. Online reservation recommended. We ordered the mezze menu for two people. First the various starters come in small bowls, then the main course, all to be shared.

The food is tops! Service is great and friendly. Hummus for starters with Lebanese flat bread. We had the lamb and immitation lamb (vegan). Very well made. Presentation is beautiful and authentic Finished off with fresh mint leaves tea. Delicious, healthy and refreshing. Highly recommend and we will be back!

We received 8 bowls for starters. Usually accompanied by lots of salad. 2x something like a spring roll. 2 x something mushy in the dough with spinach. 2 pieces a lot of dough and a little chopped meat in it. 1 piece of lukewarm flatbread wrapped in plastic wrap. Hummus, olive mixture. There was hardly any space for everything on the puny tables. I ordered a beer and wasn't asked which one. Of course I was offered the expensive Lebanon beer. Anyway, the slim lady was completely speechless. The young gentleman at least explained to us what he was serving. We left a lot of things standing because we didn't like them, although the young gentleman left two bowls for us. Goes well with the main course. Now I know why. We then received a total of 3 smallest skewers of meat for both of them and a ladle of cuscus. No additional sauce or side dish. The price-performance ratio isn't right at all and the sparse, wordless service doesn't leave a positive impression either. Well, the big exception is the boss himself.

Probably the best Lebanese restaurant in Bern. I had a vegetarian plate with hot and cold nets and enjoyed every single dish. The food is beautifully prepared and the service is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

I wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. First sat outside - looking at the sky I wasn't sure if the rain was coming. I was able to place the order quickly. I had “Batata” Harra as a starter and “Shawarma” as my main course. Both dishes were delicious. The potatoes with bits of pepperocini made it a little spicy but not too spicy. The lamb meat with rice and vegetables was very delicious. Service: During the starter it started to rain, so it became too "uncomfortable". People moved inside. The waiters cleared the table and showed me a nice seat again. I found the waiters attentive - they often made the rounds and asked if everything was OK.

Despite I sitting with my wife, he neglected to offer us menu for an extended period of time. When I finally requested the menu, he responded in a peculiar and abrupt manner, stating that we had to wait as there were other customers and priorities. I am unsure of the reason behind his impolite behavior. This worker displayed extreme rudeness and arrogance, and it is inappropriate for him to engage with customers without proper etiquette or politeness. As a result, I decided to leave the restaurant and will not return. my recommendations If you choose to eat in there, I strongly advise against interacting with him at all. Excellent Libanese restaurant, from Arabic language. There are many better restaurants that he caters to. It is one of the best Arab restaurants I have tried, making you feel as if you are in Lebanon. It is a respectable, tidy place, and the most important thing is hope and nothing better.

The reservation was great because they didn't have space at first and then called us back because someone canceled. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for food. What also bothered us was that the table had already been cleared while we were still eating. The food itself tasted good, but not particularly special. And the price-performance ratio is not right. I find 132.- for three people for a starter and the 3.4 meat skewers very expensive.

Starters were very good. In the main course, part of the vegetarian plate was missing; shawarma was served with practically no sauce. It was therefore very dry and a lot of bare meat. A pity. Too few serving staff (1 real waiter for the whole restaurant).

I know the cuisine of the Levant well, what is served in Mont Liban pleases the palate, the tabbouleh lacks nothing, the mixture of ingredients is balanced, the parsley is not chopped too finely, the cous cous still has a slight bite and it is not drowned with lemon juice and oil. There are various fattayers that are like empanadas or, for us, dough carp. We ordered the ones with cheese filling and were not disappointed. We also had Arayes, flatbread filled with spiced minced lamb, Patata Harras, this could be described as fried potato cubes with coriander and is never missing from me and was as I know it from the Orient, hummus with fried lamb, simply 'to die for' and we ordered another one. If you don't know much about Lebanese cuisine, I recommend a mezze.
