We came to the restaurant a little cold from a snowshoe hike, covered in snow and with bags and packs, including snowshoes. We had a bit of a guilty conscience because of that, but we were welcomed very friendly. And because only the staff table was free, they quickly cleared it and offered us this table. We felt valued and welcome. We also had a quick conversation with the landlady, she comes from another country and was very friendly. They make a real effort to respect our culture and integrate. Food price-performance tip top. Gladly again.

The espresso at the end was an instant powder coffee. Overall a bad experience with poor service.

I am very excited. The food was fantastic, which is not always a given in a Swiss restaurant these days. The vegetables were perfect with a slight bite and very fresh. The liver sauce was seasoned and rounded off in a wonderfully interesting way and the rösti was also perfectly fried. The waitress responded to my special request for a special drink that wasn't on the menu without any discussion and the service was always friendly and helpful. The price was also right. I haven't been as positively surprised as I was here in a long time. I can definitely recommend the restaurant.

We had a wonderful meal (evening and breakfast) and had a great chat with Max and Zora. We were able to park our motorhome directly in front of the Hirschen. Electricity and public toilets are available. You simply ignore the church bells from the nearby pilgrim chapel.

Es stellte sich heraus das es die Chefin ist. Eine kl. Tagessuppe 13 Franken und etwas ungrades erschien mir zu viel. Das Teeglas war nicht unbedingt sauber und das Mars was es dazugab war grau angelaufen. Bei nachfrage ob der Preis stimmt wirkte die Chefin extrem patzig auf mich. Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant auf keinste Weise weiter.

Es war ein schöner Abend, wunderbar kulinarisch verwöhnt worden. Gerne immer wieder.
