Mungga Hütta in Davos

The hut is great. There is also cheese fondue to eat here. I don't know whether a reservation is necessary for this. The waitresses were all super nice and quick.

Highly recommended. The staff is really just lovely! Everything was very chilled. Ordering goes quickly. Smiles and small talk are real. The price is Swiss, but reasonable. Were there several times and were always welcomed and served perfectly! And definitely try: hot dog. It's delicious!

Skislopeside Restaurant with great patio. Super friendly staff and extremely efficient. There's quite a wine list and a couple of quick bites, all fairly priced.

Very long waiting time for everyone on an admittedly surprisingly beautiful and therefore very busy day. Our order was then completely lost but was delivered later.

Unfortunately it's just closed like that... there's probably no need for it. Beautiful Saturday in mid-August. Parsennhütte summer season 2023 also closed. But at least this is communicated...

The Munggahütte remains my absolute favorite in terms of price/performance. The location is fantastic, with a unique, beautiful view of the mountains and a good selection of food and drinks. My family and I would love to come back! :-)

Dia Mungga Hut used to be really great. I miss the food and the great service from before. The staff now is lousy, very long waiting times (even when there's not much going on). Eating it is no longer a hit either. I've been going to the Mungga Hut for years, but not anymore. It's a shame about the beautiful location.

The staff was extremely friendly. The food is very fine and varied, even for vegetarians! We had a lentil curry, highly recommended! Prices are very reasonable and there are also small portions.

Unfortunately, these are warmed-up ready-made meals. The food came 3 minutes after ordering, it can't be fresh, and that's how it tasted. Is not recommended.

Things looked much better in the pictures from earlier. At the moment the food tastes just okay. You feel a bit ignored by the staff and you should allow about 20 minutes to order and 20 minutes to pay. Other waiters standing around say that they are not responsible for the table and point to the colleague who is supposed to be coming soon. The ambience otherwise is bomb! Nice location.

There was chaos when ordering, as expected a main course was forgotten. The "big" raclette was a slice with 5 unfinished potatoes. Croissants with minced meat were good. At least, coffee on the house if you forget. Where is the Superbratwurst from before??

Every year I am a regular guest at the "Mungga Hütta" and I always enjoy the high quality and good food. The service is usually a bit overwhelmed when there is a large rush of guests, so it can take a while until you get your food or place an order. The atmosphere is very simple, especially since most of the seats are outside on the terrace. However, the view from the terrace is nice.

I would prefer to give zero stars. We always enjoyed having lunch here, but since the new tenant you can no longer even order a fondue for one person. None of the employees feel responsible, despite repeated requests we were not served. Absolutely NOT a recommendation even though the location is so great

Long waiting times, extremely disorganized staff and the food is all finished products and no comparison to before. Very disappointing

There was only warm Calaaaanda. But Ueli was hit on by the waitress, otherwise completely ok.

No drinks served after 15 minutes of waiting for nothing.

Good location in the middle of the ski area, but the food is no longer comparable to what it used to be (including no more warm nut croissants!).

Very friendly service, waiter was nice and charming, however the drinks werent up to a good standard (think, watered down instant coffee). Price does not match the quality as everything is quite expensive.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has switched to convenience foods. Accordingly, it is warmed up food from a SiSiSi Systems machine. The menu corresponds exactly to the manufacturer's homepage. The quality in no way corresponds to the price level and is more reminiscent of a large canteen. It's a shame that this once top restaurant has become so run down! A visit is currently absolutely not recommended!

Food good, but not justified in terms of price.

Today's visit to the Mungga Hut totally disappointed me. With these new hosts in 2022, the quality of the food has suffered greatly. The veal bratwurst was deep fried, apart from the skin there was no sign of a bratwurst. The employee's quick-tempered nature clearly showed that she often had to deal with complaints. I would advise against a visit, you'll only get upset in vain. It's a shame for this great place in this Davos ski area.

The best place to hang out on bad weather days. We spent a few hours in the nice atmosphere with the lovely and entertaining people running the place. It saved our day and was a lot of fun. The owner is a passionate snowboarder who gave us tips on where there is good snow to go next.

Food was OK. Staff wasn't really attentive. There was an intense urine taste throughout the restaurant.

I've never experienced anything like that, very unfriendly staff. The customer is not king here. Food was okay.

Fast service. They even improvised a Tschigg board for us. Thanks for that. But it cost me a lot because I always lost. A pity. Still 5 out of 5.

Juan Stern. He ordered but received the wrong thing (3/8 correct to him). He didn't get an apology. Food was expensive for him. Not even pomeran to boorgir. Not a dream for him, no, a nightmare for him. The only plus point: When the raclette (which you didn't order) is served, it ends up in the customer's crotch instead of on the table (watch out for him). Him roars

Very good special hot dog! Very efficient checkout and service (take-away).

Today we visited Anja and Jörg for the first time. What the two of them have gotten out of the current measures is sensational. But adding a take-away offering of food and drinks, which many restaurants in the city can't do, is the last straw. We were thrilled and would love to come back.

They responded as best as possible to the incomprehensible BAG requirements.

Great burger 🍔, friendly staff with an outdoor seating.

The burger meat is too thick and the sauce is not distributed properly. The bread is not crispy it is hard. And all at affordable prices

The hot dog is special but delicious.

The burger was tasty, but a proud 16 Fr for a crispy Püürli with meat on the hand is almost a bit cheeky in terms of price.

Waiters shout at guests, super rude, impolite. There is such a mess with the tables. We took a table, after 10 minutes they told us it was book and we had to change the table. After 5 minutes they told us that we again have to change the table, but there were no free tables. They shouted at us that we are not supposed to stand between the tables on their way!! Super rude and unfriendly!

The hut is cozy and small. The terrace has space for 200 people (at maximum capacity) and is located in the center of the ski area. The food was excellent and the service was quick. Unfortunately, the stress of the employees occasionally shows itself on the guests. But this is compensated for by the presence of the house dog. I'll be back.

Directly on the slopes! Very friendly staff. A friendly Husky wanders among the tables (outdoors) entertaining guests. Prices are logically high, but this is now the case on Swiss snow.

Despite Corona, you can still order food/drink👍 and sit down and enjoy the weather and the view 🤩🤩🤩

The best ski hut in the area! Top service and top price/performance! Despite the small hut, there is a good selection of delicious and fresh food. The slightly different “HotDog” is and remains my absolute favorite. You will always receive a warm welcome at the Mungga Hut. Thank you Anja and Jörg and team... In high season, it's best to avoid rush hour and stop by before 11:30 a.m. or after 1 p.m. and grab a seat.
