Ideal for people who like a middle-class atmosphere in a beautiful rural atmosphere. Traditional Swiss cuisine. Very good portions. The products offered are of very good quality and practically all CH. It was the first but certainly not the last time for us.

The food is always very good and the staff is always on hand and very nice.

Cozy place, excellent Cordon Bleu's, and friendly service.

Born out of necessity (another restaurant was on holiday), we looked for an alternative. We were so lucky to choose this excellent restaurant. Beef fillet with port sauce and 9! different types of vegetables. The beans are not crunchy, but not flimsy either, but rather digestible and perfect! The fillet is buttery tender, the sauce is port wine-like, sweet, but not cheesy. The fries (excuse the expression) are super awesome! My partner had a fitness plate with pork steak and loved it too! The service was very friendly and the food was on the table very quickly, even though the restaurant was full on a Thursday evening. Sxhlichtweg a big thank you, we will definitely come back! ;-)

Far too expensive and should have gotten 15 francs in change, I noticed at home that I got about 0.5 francs.

Hammer Cordonbleu. Especially the one with wild garlic. There was a reservation on the table with the words “❤️welcome family xx” written on it. So beautiful and loving. The “serving boy” was very friendly and funny, just sweet. Today the National was only an emergency solution but after this great experience we would like to come back again and again.

If you're hungry and want to eat fine, this is the right place for you. The specialty is clearly the huge cordon bleu. But I warn you: they are huge. But cream schnitzel, Zurich Geschnetzeltes or chicken curry are also very tasty. I have to allow myself a small criticism: The mixed salad has, for me and my wife, not only, but too many pickled salads. Of course you have to accept beetroot and corn, although the beetroot salad was a bit sour. But cucumbers and carrots? I am fully aware that handling such salads is easier (shelf life/workload) and our bodies can digest pickled or briefly pre-cooked vegetables better. Nevertheless: with green salad or hazelnut salad it's also possible: everything is crispy and fresh :-) My opinion may well be a matter of opinion. That's why I still gave full marks. In general, I am impressed by the cuisine at the National Restaurant and can recommend it without reservation. If you still want to go bowling, that is also possible here.

The perfect restaurant for Cordonbleu lovers. The beef fillet with port wine sauce is my favorite. The service is attentive and very friendly. It is advisable to reserve. Dogs are also welcome.

Had a spontaneous lunch there today and got a great table for five of us. Children's menu is good and shows delicious alternatives to the constant chicken nuggets, fries or spaghetti bolo. Cordonbleu National from Menu 2 and Rahmschnitzel Menu 1 were both very tasty. Fresh vegetables and side dishes could be changed. Only the franc for the menu change is not really understandable. But if you look at the value for money, the franc is also affordable. The kids even had a lollipop after their meal. Thanks.

We were there to eat game. The main course and dessert were very good. The starter, a grandmother-style nut salad, was a bit carelessly prepared, the salad dressing was thin and bland and you almost had to look for the bacon. What bothered us all was the harsh and domineering service, which almost made you feel like a schoolboy. We have experienced it completely differently in the same place. We have been regular guests at Nati for decades. A great restaurant with very experienced, friendly and long-standing service staff. The owners have followed a clear line for years and remain true to themselves, which I particularly like. We know that at Nati you always eat well and receive warm service. What made me particularly happy about our visit yesterday was that there is now a larger selection of veggies. The vegetarian cordon bleu was simply a hit!

Simply top Gordon Bleu's and friendly staff

Large selection of Cordon Bleus (for example a tomato-mozzarella Cordon Bleu called Cento Valli). The service is mostly friendly, the owners, the Leuenberger family, are happy about every visit and also remember the names of regular customers, which I personally really appreciate. Unfortunately, the unrivaled white wine risotto is no longer offered as a side dish, which for me was always a part of it... Card payment possible, there is also a bowling alley.

Not cheap, but worth it. Beautifully presented, well cooked food with considerations for gluten and lactose free diners. Very pleasant waitstaff.

The National Restaurant in Burgdorf is known for its good home-style cuisine. Lovers of Wiener-style schnitzel and cordon bleu have come to the right place. I think they have eight different Cordon Bleus on offer. I ordered the 'small' part with cheese, good ham and mushrooms. I hadn't had the experience with mushrooms before, it was very tasty and I will repeat this variant in my kitchen. Various salads, be careful, they are also large and good and are served with very good French or Italian sauce. The desserts are excellent, homemade 'Brönnti Creme' or Crema Catalana, an airy mousse aux chocolates are worth it. Be careful, the Cordon Bleus are excellent and 500g, real jumbos, can easily be shared or ordered on a small plate. If you don't complete your part, you'll be happy to take it home with you. I'm surprised by the National and will go by again. Then I'll try my friends' cream schnitzels.

First: Fernando is (and his colleagues too) absolutely great 👌 Next: The kitchen is great and so is the food. And the best thing is that I made a vegan cordon bleu for my girlfriend! I'm not a vegan myself but for what's possible they really did it perfectly. It can also be made vegetarian if desired. Please call one day in advance because the boss sometimes has to buy things for the vegan cordon bleu.

We made a quick stop at the National on the way through. I'm a bit surprised that we're almost the only guests and that it's Saturday lunchtime. However, it's completely unfounded, days like that just happen. We were greeted and served in a very friendly manner. The food also came very quickly. Price/performance ratio is definitely right and everything is also very tasty.

We always go to the National when we feel like having a Cordon Bleu or something to celebrate. We like the atmosphere there. Sustainability is important to me and that's why I was very pleased that the National stopped using plastic drinking straws and instead used more environmentally friendly paper straws. Bravo! The service was very friendly and helpful (thanks for making us happy 🙂). We look forward to your next visit!
