National in St. Gallen

Went here on a company outing with the Rosengarten Widnau. We recommend. Delicious food, great staff and the boss was very accommodating. We'll definitely come back.

Carnival Sunday (schnitzel bench), food... without words... price/performance nogo... dessert, 2 chocolates for everyone. For me the restaurant has gone out of business.

One of my favorite restaurants in St.Gallen. The food is prepared with so much love and dedication. You immediately feel welcome. I was served lovingly and my special wishes were implemented 100%. Always a pleasure and great for sitting outside, especially in summer.

Found this place by accident because we asked the service girl here for directions, she was really nice and helpful so we decided to come back for food here. We did not disappoint. The spare ribs was just the way I've been craving for after living in Switzerland for a while... this is the best ribs for me. The cheese quiche was really nice, service was extremely nice and helpful, beers were nice with the ambient of true Swiss, location is also right in the center. What I could ask for more.... is more space in my stomach to fit all the food in! 😄 By the way, the toilet is nice and clean.

But my wife doesn't eat either dish. So she came away empty-handed. My cakes were already made and came on 2 plates. When serving, the waitress from the kitchen noticed that both cakes were probably just for me and put both cakes together on a plate. My criticism... if the menu is valid until 5:30 p.m., why are 80% of the dishes no longer available at 5:05 p.m.? Why was my meal prepared before we were informed that the salsa platter was no longer available? So I had to eat alone and my wife had nothing. It's just not right to eat alone. But it's not appropriate to leave cooked food lying around. If I had known this beforehand, I would have canceled. You can empty the cakes onto a plate, but it's a waste of time and not appropriate. Above all, until then I had no place setting, no cutlery, nothing... my wife organized the latter for me. fetched myself.
