The food was very tasty. But today you unfortunately had problems with the door. In short, it was so cold that you could hardly sit in the restaurant. Guests had jackets on and when my wife and I left the restaurant she was shaking badly. We took the rest of the main course and dessert with us. It's really a shame that the problem wasn't solved proactively... Negishi has enough blankets that could certainly have been offered to the guests.

Absolutely love the food. The style of the restaurant is also lovely. I just found the service a bit impersonal due to having to use the app. Also, if you are going to use the app to select the foods, it should generate the order, it all works a bit backwards. Staff were very busy and looked stressed. We had to wait long periods to be served and the desserts came out very late. It is convenient to pay with the app so not waiting longer to pay the bill, however, none of the staff say goodbye when you leave which is again, impersonal. Overall, we love the food (although quite expensive) and will definitely go again. Would rather an old fashioned menu so everyone on the table is not on their phones.

The sushi is extremely tasty but also really expensive. There were two of us and if you don't look too closely, you'll quickly find yourself at CHF 150 for both of us. Evaluating the service is difficult because you are unfortunately obliged to look at the menu via the QR code and therefore you don't really have much interaction with the service staff. When we asked, the answer was that they still had tablets. We thought that was a shame. We wanted to enjoy time together away from cell phones and not have to be glued to our cell phones to even know what's available for dinner. All in all satisfactory.

The restaurant has a nice spot, close to the city centre, cozy decorated, but unfortunately sushi it’s a huge disappointment. Sushi was served very cold, 100% done at the morning and stored in the fridge waiting for orders. It’s the biggest mistake they’ve can made. Moreover it happened even though there was a lot of people inside and it was Sunday. It’s so sad, this place has huge potential but has been ruined due to this cutting costs approach. Don’t want to even mention that the slice of tuna on top of nigiri had like 1 mm diameter. I’m shocked as they know how sushi should be served, and they boldly and consciously breaking it. Sadly I will never come back to this place again.

Sushi in Switzerland - that makes sense! The plan was to have a sushi experience together and YES, we did! We started with gyoza as a starter and a plate for 2 afterwards. Both fed up and in sushi heaven! What was astonishing to me was that none of the waitresses were Asian - unthinkable in my region! But it didn't hurt the ambience, because it was extremely atmospheric and relaxing, beautiful and still modern. Next time in Zug I will definitely come here again!

I've eaten here many times and I love everything about this place. They have a nice variety of options and I personally enjoy the Tuna Bowl best, it's super good. The staff is very friendly, take care of the guests and the ambiente in the restaurant is cozy, pretty and welcoming. Mondays they have all you can eat Sushi for a reasonable price which makes sense to check out as well! Quality of the food is also impeccable. I'd recommend this restaurant any time!

-Food good but extremely expensive -Service bad The biggest impudence I have experienced in a restaurant is that a 10% tip is automatically deducted when paying with Twint. If you don't ask for the receipt/invoice, you won't be given one. You don't notice it and 10% is simply deducted without your knowledge!! This borders on fraud...

In all of my (our) stays, the dishes and service were absolutely great. Service is always friendly, attentive and accommodating, the food is always fresh and very tasty. The Momos (Pork & Beef) are something really worth mentioning. The location is beautiful and always creates a good atmosphere. I always feel comfortable and welcome there.

I go to Negishi for lunch once or twice a week. The location is perfect because I only work a few meters away in the Metalli. The managing director Tobias spreads an extremely pleasant welcome atmosphere as a host. And the employees are super accommodating, helpful and friendly. I usually only give very good or very bad reviews because anything that's average isn't worth the effort. I had a disastrous experience here. Went to eat here with my children. Only one child ordered raw fish, i.e. typical sushi. Result: food poisoning with severe abdominal cramps and pitch-black vomiting for a week. I've been avoiding you ever since. Very disappointing. A horror experience. Regarding your feedback: First of all, thank you. You know what pediatricians tell you when you come over? Yes. This is typical food poisoning. But no, there is nothing more than combating symptoms (i.e. identifying the pathogen)! Because it doesn't seem to matter in terms of the result. This is probably called a cost brake. The symptoms started almost 1 1/2 hours after eating sushi! It was pitch black, repeated vomiting throughout the night. Followed by very severe daily stomach cramps. Ending about 6 days later than the last - sorry for the unpleasant detailed description - last defecation took place. It was really accompanied by terrible pain and was a horror for my child. Then there was finally peace. I've never experienced that - anywhere - at any time.

So that we were finally served after 15 minutes, I had to ask the employees about 3 times. The food we ordered in advance didn't come automatically. We ordered a large sushi platter for 150 for 4 people. It was enough sushi but it had almost no fish, tuna?! Cucumber, crab. Tuna was completely missing. The sushi itself was good. Unfortunately there is no green tea ice cream. For the price I find the service and quality poor.

We reserved early so we could get a table next to the kitchen entrance. It was very loud and smelly there. The service was certainly nice, but I don't understand why guests are always expected to speak English and not the staff to speak German. We didn't fully understand the ordering system. I use the QR code to look at the card and add my goods to the wish list and then have to wait until the waitress takes the order. Why can't I order this online straight away? Doesn’t that work in other of your restaurants too?

Good quality sushi with a large menu and many variations. A bit too expensive comparing to similar food quality elsewhere. The staff is rude. The menu is a scan-qr-code-with-your-phone and read. Smart if you remember your reading glasses, since recently they added electronic menus. I forgot and asked for a printed menu, and was arrogantly told they don't have a printed menus anymore. So I tried again but had to give up. Letters too small on the phone and not zoomable. When leaving I told another waiter why, and he told me they did indeed have written menus and pointed to them lying on table, looking at me as if I was stupid. Not going here again with such a rude staff. There are plenty of other good sushi places in and around Zug.

If you go for the takeaway you literally have to take it away, as there are only few non-attractive seating places in front next to the toilet. We spent more than 110 CHF i 4 people and expected at least a comfy place to seat. There is though a reserved area, but only for classic restaurant customers. Takeaway would mean for me that at least the waiting time is shorter, but it is not! After waiting 20 min we asked about the status: they told that there is no difference in waiting time vs the restaurant. The food now: sushi was between 3 and 4 stars. The rest 2-3 (soups not really tasty). Overall a disappointing experience for the money, honestly.

Great food, great service. The only thing is that it took forever to assign a table at the entrance because there was no waitress nearby. Another point is the facility. There's no such thing as a real sense of well-being. It all seems a bit chaotic and somehow put together.
