Had an enjoyable lunch here last week. Staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. The raviolo were excellent and served with style. I much enjoyed the setting as well. Special attention was given to the decor.

The ambience is great and the service is very nice. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the quality of the cuisine. The polpette were too hard and the sugo tasted mainly of tomato paste. The lasagna was dry, the spaghetti vongole was bland and too soft. The tiramisu was too heavy and just creamy, no freshness from zest! The espresso, however, was perfect.

Simply top - from the staff to the food - you feel like you're at Nonna's. The best restaurant in Aarau! Be sure to try as many different things as possible. Gladly again!

We were at Nonna at the end of December and the carbonara was to die for! Really in the traditional style with al dente spaghetti that had a coarse structure. MEGA FINE! Today I really feel like eating exactly this plate of pasta... The atmosphere was very nice, homely despite the modern furnishings. The service was friendly, but sometimes you had to wait a little longer to be noticed. But all in all I can only recommend the restaurant.

Nice ambience The bacon on the spaghetti carbonara smelled very strongly of pork, and so did the rest of the food. The waiter did not respond to our feedback. After the main course we were not asked for dessert or coffee.

Hello. I'm sorry. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food was good, but the service from the staff was very unprofessional. You weren't taken seriously and unfortunately it was very loud. They danced around and shouted. Unfortunately, you couldn't enjoy the food at all. It was very uncomfortable. For me and for my friends. I am active on social media. I'm happy to recommend restaurants but unfortunately I can't recommend it. The food was great but the service was no go.

Polite. An ok shabby chic desgin. The brusccetta was utterly hard. No special taste. The salad was from a consumer bag or the like. 2 moderate olives on top and a watery sauce of no taste. CHF 12.50, no, not acceptable. I cannot remember having such a bland boring salad. The pasta was too hard to be called al dente in our himble opinion. A very sad dinning experience for people like us who eat out often. Expensive, low quality, moderate ambiance, but a fair politness.

I can only say that Marco, the chef, was a discovery for me as a young boy but with a good knowledge of combining ingredients that are certainly fresh and home-grown (and you can feel it!) Everyone was really friendly but above all the welcome from Clara, good and beautiful, who proved to be capable and at the same time nice at the service... and then Esmeralda... cheered my palate with a good coffee... .that not everyone here in Switzerland succeeds in such a feat! Well done! For the owner of the restaurant: I believe he has a good team at his disposal who gives value to the products, which I believe are really of excellent workmanship as you can feel the freshness and I congratulate you... but certainly if the chef doesn't do things well everything is not possible... For the chef: continue to work with the right commitment and positive attitude and I believe that the satisfaction will come!!! Highly recommended, I will certainly return to try other dishes. For the price: despite the reviews I read, I can say that the price of the menu is not that much more expensive than other places here in Switzerland... for the quality that I have been able to see, in fact it is more than in line!

Unfortunately the food disappointed me. The lasagna was not crispy on the outside, and the béchamel sauce was on top of the lasagna instead of in it. The salad was overly salted and the bruschetta turned out to be three dry slices of bread with different toppings. One was just tomatoes, which was pretty bland, while the other just had fried onions. The idea of ​​being creative and different is laudable, but unfortunately this seemed to come at the expense of taste. The service was exceptionally nice and the atmosphere in the restaurant was extremely cool and trendy. Overall, I would give the restaurant a rating of 3.5, but since the food is particularly important to me, I'm giving it an overall rating of 3 stars. But you can definitely try it.

Local looks nice, but that's about it. Ice tea was a cheap, semi-cold fruit tea. Starter was supposed to be bruschetta with toasted bread - wasn't the case. The main course didn't convince me at all either. Price/performance not justified…

For the “trend crowd” a real Italian. Probably too foreign for the "normal" guests... Service is top, even if they hardly speak any German.

Visually top, middle class in taste. The caprese salad was enhanced by the pesto and balsamic balls. This upgrade was also necessary. Unfortunately, the tomatoes were tasteless and the buffalo mozzarella was also rather bland. I was very disappointed with the quality of the products. The ravioli filled with goat cheese and honey were delicious and skillfully prepared. According to the menu, the dish also included 40g of eggplant. These were probably coated in flour and fried. The result was a product that was not crispy, very rubbery and only tasted of flour and fat. I rarely leave anything on my plate. But the eggplants were simply inedible. Since the eggplant was supposed to play an important role in the dish, I didn't have any fun eating it. What a shame! I decided not to have dessert, even though I love tiramisu.

Authentic Italian Restaurant! Nice staff, cool atmosphere, especially outside when the weather is nice. The lasagne, a dream! The menu is rather small, but everything is really homemade! I recommend the lasagna, polpette with tomato sauce or tomato mozzarella salad with balsamic pearls! Keep it up :)

The food and service were very good. No long waiting times and you can taste the freshness of the products used. I paid 32 francs for a plate of pasta and mineral water at lunchtime. Hence the one star deduction for what I consider to be rather high prices. I'll definitely come back but not for a lunch - it's just too expensive for me. A lunch menu is offered, which is fairly priced. For us it was a cheese sauce, which doesn't suit everyone's taste. I would very much welcome a selection of other lunch menus at fair prices.

The atmosphere was difficult because there was a lot of events going on at the same time, so people were constantly walking past the table. The food was bland, totally saltless and very fattening. Osso buco was fine, but with 42. and greasy tagliatelle in an even greasier sauce, it was just bad. The lukewarm beer was really bad. Service tried hard and friendly. There are so many Italians in Aarau that there is no need for this.

I went there spontaneously for lunch last Friday without a reservation. The service was quick and very friendly. The menu salad and the homemade pasta were excellent. The restaurant was designed and furnished with attention to detail. I can highly recommend it.
