Very good all-you-can-eat buffet. However, when starting to eat at 1 p.m., the staff did not return some dishes that were finished. Too bad we couldn't taste everything.

Excellent food, fast service (especially for payment: very appreciable when invited to pay quickly and discreetly), competent staff. The only thing that, for me, could be the atmosphere (let it be more "hushed-romantic").

We had to ask to give our order half an hour after we were seated. When the appetizers arrived, we had no dishes. We had to ask again for them. Regarding the main courses, the chicken was overcooked and stiff. Our high expectations of the establishment were not fulfilled. Maybe we were unlucky and they just had a bad night.

Excellent Lebanese cuisine. Very good choice of mezze and traditional dishes in a charming place with a beautiful terrace. The servers were very friendly and attentive. We will return.

A good culinary experience, you have the choice at lunchtime of à la carte dishes or the buffet at 27.-CHF. The buffet was great in terms of choice and quality but it's a shame that it was missing the essential Lebanese dishes like warak enab & fatayers. But I would come back.

I absolutely love the shawerma sandwiches here! Even just nirmal houmous is a real authentic one which you rarely find here in Europe. The restaurant/interior is nice too but it is really about the food quality.

The lunch buffet is incredible! Full of flavors! They know how to cook and combine vegetables, nuts, fruit... Everything is very fresh, the room is clean and the waiters are pleasant. I recommend 👌

24.02.24 Couple We came to this restaurant after looking for a Lebanese restaurant on social media. Super friendly setting with a beautiful terrace in front for summer. Very welcoming friendly place well decorated Waitress who came to help her partner served us very well and apologized several times because of the missing dessert following the success of the evening. Very professional, she offered us a second solution which was greatly appreciated, we thank her a thousand times A very beautiful and very good restaurant! Impeccable food from start to finish. Great discovery in Lausanne Received very good advice to discover the Lebanese digestive. Recommended if you want to have a nice evening and eat well. See you soon ✌🏽

Very slow and poorly organized service - expensive.

Food is overpriced and not so tasty. Some of the dishes we couldn’t even eat. Service is unpleasant and very slow, the manager has an attitude and lacks basic manners. The chairs are very uncomfortable.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We are always well received, the service is excellent and the dishes are succulent, a real treat. We look forward to returning there. Thanks to the whole team.

Best libanese restaurant in Lausanne! The place is very nice and cozy and the food is amazing, especially the mezes; the portions are largest and the staff friendly and kind.

We had an excellent time in this place with a warm atmosphere that transports you directly to the sun. The various dishes were excellent, from starter to dessert, we were won over by so much finesse and taste. I highly recommend this place.

Not recommended with the gourmet passport because it was very poorly received from the moment my friend took out her passport, which was announced during the reservation. Very limited choice of card with the use of the passport (not specified in the passport, nor when booking by telephone). Borderline dishonest server. On the other hand, the dishes were very good but we will not return there.

If you are looking for Lebanese food this is a good option , moreover make sure you have a reservation before you go and the service will not be the best .

Any cold mezzes, hot ones not good, main course (stuffed lamb), an anise tamboille, dessert ok, very good wines, and the carafe of water? Non-existent. No comment.

After ordering an aperitif for 4 people, food, drinks, coffee, they refused to bring us a bottle of water!!!! I won't come back again.

Very good food, we enjoyed ourselves! The waiters placed us on a lovely table for our anniversary. Small point of improvement: offering an aperitif from the start would be welcome. We waited a long time until it was time to order. But then the delicious mezze quickly arrived. At the end of the evening, it is not very pleasant when the atmosphere is brought to a halt by the music stopping and the tables being cleaned. We felt a bit like we were being kicked out even though it wasn't very late. But that didn't stop us from having a wonderful evening. We recommend. Thank you so much.

I ate at this restaurant without inquiring beforehand and was very impressed. Although the environment and the place in general are quite elegant, the prices are very honest. The food is really great and the service friendly, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try something different to eat.

We reserved a table for three via the restaurant's website. Once we arrived there, we were welcomed and then installed. We received the menus and five minutes later the waiter asked us to hurry up and make our choice because the kitchen was closing soon (he said 9:30 p.m.). He came back two minutes later to take back the menus and say that the kitchen had just closed and that it was no longer possible to eat even though it was 9:25 p.m. However, we clarified that the reservation had been confirmed and that we had not received any information regarding the opening time of the kitchen. He replied curtly that if we had booked by phone, they would have told us. Extremely disappointed by this welcome and this lack of professionalism.

Very good evening spent in this restaurant with friends! We had the mezze menu for 7 people. It’s a treat, we left the choice of dishes to the chef who selected very well! Come several times, never disappointed!

Obeirut is a very well known address in Lausanne but I never had the chance to go there until last Tuesday. The service was at first very slow, they didn't ask us for drinks and we had to call the waiter after 15min. They took our drink order, but not the food.. Had to wait again.. We took the menu, and it came pretty quickly. The food is ABSOLUTELY delicious! After the appetizers we were all almost full.. 😂 😂 😂 It has been impossible to finish the main dishes.. And then came the dessert 😱. One of us didn't take the menu so had no dessert but the waiter generously offered him one. At the end, they offered the digestive.. Depsite we had to wait quite a bit at the beginning, the overall experience was Stunning and the staff super friendly.

It's been a long time since we came back! The cuisine met all our expectations, always original and perfect. The soup, a marvel! Mezzes, a dream for our taste buds. The spinach, a little too salty for our taste, was still very good. The service, discreet as desired, remains perfect, satisfying our slightest questions. We will come back with pleasure

Very nice setting and excellent food. Downside on the service at the end of the evening. We have been completely forgotten. 35 minutes to get the dessert menu, then 25 minutes to return to the table… strange! Too few servers for the packed restaurant. To rectify.

We tried the buffet lunch for 27 CHF and I believe the food is really delicious. There were salads, baclava, chicken stew, etc on the buffet. Although the variety was low but the quality was good.

A warm welcome. An oriental atmosphere. And simple cuisine full of spices and flavors even for the vegetarians that the three of us were.

Ultra expensive for what it is! The dishes are ok, nothing impressive. The service was quite insistent on the choice of dishes and wine, at one point the waiter got angry because we were taking too long to choose a dessert haha. This is not an adequate service! I advise against it, first and last time I come.

Disappointed.. we went there on a weekday evening thanks to the fork (-50%) We chose several mezzés: Traditional sausage Falafel Crunchy meat Risoles Fatouch salad Etc.. In short, we took quite a few things to enjoy tasting everything. What a disappointment.. they would be better off going to try it at the competitor's because everything here was dry and tasteless.. the fatouch salad was seasoned with an “Italian” Migros style salad dressing (purple pink color) The cauliflower was not seasoned, luckily there was a little sauce to accompany it. And everything that was fried was so dry.. the kofta balls were fatty and disgusting as were the traditional sausages. I couldn't find the flavors of Lebanese cuisine. When the waiter came to clear us out he asked us how it went, so I explained but he didn't even take it into account, he offered us the dessert menu.. Also the bread is not homemade which is such a shame for a restaurant at this price that wants to be renowned for its starred chef.. Frankly, there are much better Lebanese restaurants in Lausanne.

Outstanding Lebanese food! The new owner and chef have changed this restaurant into a must visit! Pricey, but worth it for a real treat.

Everything was excellent, we had a very wide choice of mezzés and we were also able to discover new Lebanese specialties that we didn't know at all. It was really very, very nice!

I highly recommend OBeirut! The food is FABULOUS and the service SUPERB! Kareem the new manager was so attentive and friendly. Don’t miss this treasure of a restaurant!

If you're looking for actual Arab food (bamyeh, malukhiyeh, etc.) , you won't find it here. If you just want shawarma and kibbeh come here.

The food is great here. The waiters are polite but for our case they were a bit confused and messed up the order. However, once again, the food is great. Definitely recommend.

An elegant restaurant, with delicious and clean food. I think it is the most luxurious Arabic restaurant in Lausanne. (I recommend booking before arrival).

I go to this restaurant regularly, and I find that the lunch buffet no longer offers as many choices as it used to. Very little choice for hot flavors.

Cool place, nice stuff, the best food in Lausanne

Nice discovery for my sister and I, we had a mixed mezze menu for 52.- / person, it was delicious and plentiful. According to our server's recommendations, I tasted a Lebanese red wine which was excellent, we also drank a homemade lemonade: orange, lemon, orange blossom: killer! Very warm welcome, friendly and attentive staff, fast and careful service, good value for money. I recommend this place.

Very tasty mezze in a very pleasant atmosphere. Personal highlights were the Moutabal and the cauliflower, as well as the homemade lemonade with orange blossom water. Personally, the hummus was a bit too sour for me.

Terrible service, the waiter let us wait 1 hour to take our order and we reminder hem 4 times we want to make our order. Rude attitude. Food was okay but nothing special. Don’t go here.

This pertains to the take-out traiteur. The food is good, but they consistently set a time for when the food will be ready and then there is a long wait. Today I waited 20 minutes. And not even a word of apology.

What I liked best were the refreshing orange blossom drinks. This restaurant is a great discovery, I didn't know it before. Despite a last minute reservation, the service was pleasant, as well as the atmosphere, it felt like home. Magnificent and delicious buffet in a welcoming setting!

The Obeirut Lebanese Cuisine restaurant is nicely situated in Lausanne, easily reachable within a few minutes from the train station. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. A wide variety of Hummus and the likes, as well as potatoes and chicken. Menu at noon a la discretion for a very fair price. The location itself is beautifully designed and the staff very welcoming and friendly.

Always plenty at noon. Largely appreciated by non Lebanese. Excellent choice of wine . For all tastes.

Service and food presentation were both disappointingly poor. When I ordered hummus, the accompanying pita arrived in a sad-looking plastic bag. There were only two people working there, and only one of them spoke English. The place wasn't even that busy, and it took about 15 minutes for my order to be taken. The only saving grace was that the hummus was delicious. This is not the place to go if you expect excellent customer service.
