Friendly service in a great atmosphere. Good selection of food that was served very quickly. Unfortunately the food was cold.

I was at the Old Wild West on February 18th, 2024, the service was super friendly, not fake but completely authentic. The food was very tasty, unfortunately the portions are a bit small (ok, I eat a lot too🙈). But a visit is definitely worth it. I can only recommend.

Ambience: appealing inside and out, rustic, looks like a typical American restaurant in Western style. Staff/Service: Friendly, but a bit lacking in attention. We got a table very far away, even though the restaurant was only minimally busy. Food: longer waiting time, which should indicate fresh preparation. Unfortunately the burgers were only lukewarm. Unfortunately, the taste of the cheese BBQ burger was heavily influenced by the baked onion rings and tasted sweet and like rancid frying fat. The meat was okay, the fries were slightly soggy, the salad was wilted. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not live up to our expectations.

I chose the French Burger. The meat was fried a little too long and was therefore dry. Otherwise with delicious ingredients and also pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately the fries went cold quickly. The plate was lukewarm, matching the lax service.

Clean, warm, very friendly staff, very good food for a fast-food restaurant with my family

We had to wait 15 minutes until we could order. Then the food came after an hour and sometimes lukewarm or cold. Since we had to wait so long, it was too stupid for us to have the food warmed up again. But the staff was always friendly and nice. I think there just needs to be more staff, then the restaurant would definitely be good.

we call to ask if the restaurant is open today, January 1, 2024. they tell us yes, so we reserve. we arrive and in the doorway there are 4-5 people waiting to be accompanied to the table. the waitress loudly and in an unpolite manner announces to all the people standing that there is a minimum of an hour's wait, even for those who have reserved (like us). there were seats, I imagine the problem was a lack of staff outside or inside the kitchen. absurd to drive 30 minutes to leave the restaurant in 30 seconds, angry and hungry. we were deeply disappointed.

Old wild west gentlemen, hire an extra waitress because this evening there were two people working in the entire restaurant and consequently the service was terrible. The girl has always been kind but in her place I would have sent you I won't say where.

Food: good, tasted a little like griddle. Quality/price ok. Service: poor, when we arrived the table had not been cleared of previous customers' plates and glasses. When they gave us the table they cleared the table but they didn't clean the table! Took our order after 20 minutes (too long waiting time) and to top it off, we were served dinner before drinking. Too expensive. Price quality outside the parameters. Service ok, atmosphere is particular. The meat was quite good, cooked well. But in general what I ate was not all of quality, the differences between the fresh products used and non-fresh products were too noticeable. Too bad, disappointing result for a restaurant that does only that. And if the food is disappointing, the final bill for quality and price is too expensive. Decreasing by 15% would be more correct. I will hardly go back. I'm not an occasional tourist.

The western atmosphere is very nice. The service is a bit poor despite the fact that I go during opening hours (often the first to enter) so you wait quite a while both to be seated and to order and receive the meal. Several times I have asked for information via telephone, email and social sites for the various events but no one ever responds. For car parks they are often full given that it is located near the station

An incredibly cool Western saloon-style restaurant right next to Locarno train station, an extensive menu, from steak to Tex-Mex cuisine, everything is included. Food quality is ok. Wide range of beer. But the restaurant is only a quarter full.

Great Wild West atmosphere, fast friendly service, food was very good, I really liked it in the Old Wild West Locarno.

Location was quite empty. Lots of seating options in saloons, mines, or wagons for pioneers. Service was quick& friendly. Burger meat was medium rare and a bit too salty. The fries were super dry. Almost like oven fries. Overall, I was a bit disappointing.

Enjoyed great food for a fair price and we'll be happy to come back

The Old Wild West has an incredibly cool ambience, you feel like you're in the Wild West. The burgers were very tasty, the sauces were perfect too... The fries were a little too salty (I like them saltier) and others weren't. Service was extremely friendly, spoke some English and German, we had a long, nice conversation, definitely a cool dude. Very cozy, very delicious food, with a different theme than the other restaurants, very friendly staff, the only bad thing is that the bathroom has very low lighting and the children are a little afraid to go alone, but otherwise very good.

Burgers, tacos and quesadillas were delicious and accompanied by lots of chips. The staff is always attentive and kind. The offer of a free children's menu on Wednesdays is a really nice touch. Personally I don't know of any other restaurants as "family friendly" as Old Wild West.

Really bad food, way too expensive and cold food and soda tastes like water and you don't get anything new

For a fast food shop it was good starter and choice of ice cream very good, salad supper, double cheeseburger very good quality the only thing that wasn't quite so good was the almost raw and cold beef strips. Service rarely came along. Ambiance like in America.

Starter mix was good. I had a spicy double burger. - Meat was dry and only slightly seasoned. - Dry bread - Spicy is different - Price performance ratio is not right.

It was me and my boyfriend for dinner last night. Decent food, BUT and I underline BUT, I give one star to the service because I can't go below zero. We arrived and a girl welcomed us who made us sit at a table in a room where there was no one. The place had few people. After taking our seats we were totally abandoned for more than half a TIMED hour before we could take our order. In the meantime I continued to look at the two waiters hoping that they would give us a look. But the girl was too busy wandering around the room without having any plates or trays in her hand. After thirty-eight minutes we glimpsed a boy who took an order from a table of four who had arrived after us. But let's gloss over this. Finally they deign to take our order. We order two appetizers and two burgers. Only one arrives, we try with great difficulty to attract the waiter's attention to no avail. At that point my annoyed companion gets up from the table and goes to call the waiter saying that there had been a mistake. My partner had also ordered the same burger as mine, but WITHOUT BACON. Well, it arrived after another full half hour, the second appetizer and the two burgers together. Which bothered us a lot. The waitress brings us the dishes and even has the courage to specify: "THE BURGER WITHOUT BACON?" He puts them at the table and guess what??? Both burgers came with bacon. So I ask myself, WHAT ARE YOU ASKED TO DO? However, at that point we couldn't wait to leave, we ask for two coffees and the bill, we are told that the bill must be paid at the register. There are no problems . So let's just wait for the two coffees. It's a shame, however, that only one arrives, once again we call the waiter back for the second coffee. Absolutely tragic experience, never again in this branch. Totally incompetent staff with no desire to work. We are sorry because the food was also pleasant. But really never again. Exorbitant prices for a simple steak

a lot of attention to detail in the furnishings. the kitchen was too cold. Hamburger meat was lukewarm. Ribeye steak was not warm enough. Since the plates aren't preheated, everything will soon get cold anyway. Long waiting time despite few visitors

The food was lukewarm but tasted great! Unfortunately, the service was alone and was always on the move, unfortunately not with us to take orders. Otherwise I thought it was great!😊 I would love to come back

Restaurant in a central location with themed furnishings. Rather a bit dark, especially in the back area. The menu was extensive and even available in German for the non-Italian speaking group. Prices are a bit high, but still ok for the city. Portions could be a little larger. The taste was okay, but nothing particularly outstanding. Service was so friendly and accommodating. The waiting time was just at the end of the green zone, even though there wasn't a lot of traffic at the time of our visit. Toilets could be a little cleaner and, above all, free of mold (left corner near the urinal above). There was only one women's toilet (or at least only one that worked), which quickly led to a bit of a traffic jam in front of the entrance.

Western character... You have to like it. The burger is very tasty. There could be some salad as a side dish... This is my second time here. For the first time in February 2022... I like the place 👍👍

Think about eating in these restaurants, it's better to know what awaits you, the food is not good or even fresh, it all seems frozen, like a fastfood restaurant. The service is a bit poor with only one lady doing everything, so sometimes one has to go up and look for her or stand up to order. So much potential for this restaurant, but they lack fixing these things.

I hadn't been back for a long time, but I had a good time

For lunch we had dinner in the Old Wild West, which was of course a must for me as a county and American "fan" when I saw this as I was passing by... We were served immediately, unfortunately the service specialist didn't speak German. The food was delivered quickly and was beautifully prepared. Price performance is good. The star deduction was because the fries were very salty and the hamburger wasn't warm enough. The atmosphere is awesome.

The meat was very tough, especially completely cooked through. But it was ordered medium. The service left a lot to be desired. Complaint was ignored with composure.

The only positive is the decor (and the beer)! We ordered the second most expensive meat and had to send it back because it was hard as a rock. Better go to the Mac Donalds next door... The staff is friendly but totally understaffed. We waited 30 minutes before we could order...

We went to Old Wild West as a small group based on good experiences in 2021. Unfortunately, the restaurant was very disappointing. Mozzarella sticks were barely lukewarm and like chewing gum, cheap quality and expensive. The burger buns were very dry, had cracks on the lid and were not warm. Meat was done, but only lukewarm. Very few side dishes in the burger, fries were lukewarm and bland, sauce was very chemical. Luckily it wasn't that expensive.

The meat is good and not very expensive considering we are in Switzerland.

Service was slower than usual, I ordered a sirloin, in my experience sirloin is tender. I felt like I was eating a round steak.

We like this place and usually get a very good meal. I ordered sirloin steak and it was tough like round steak. The fries were good. We got there 1.5 his early because we take the train home, they were kinda laid back, we'll get to you when we get to you. In the past the food was better, they service was better but they don't work on tips, they get a full minimum government induced wage. So you get what you get in this case

The food wasn't good. The hamburger bread looked normal but tasted burnt. The steak was still completely red and was very tough, some of it you couldn't even chew.

Shoe sole restaurant with rotten salad 🤮

We got to know the Old Wild West in Italy. We were looking forward to it, but unfortunately there is no comparison! The map here is also not that extensive. The restaurant was almost empty and we waited 1 hour for food! The promised appetizer sauce was forgotten in both portions, and the spareribs were of poor quality. Well, it was worth a try, but I will avoid this store in the future. Especially since the prices, especially for the appetizers, are almost outrageous.

I had dinner there with my husband last week, we were disappointed, we ordered the ribeye steak with fries and vegetables, it was listed below as entrecote, the meat was fatty and streaky, the vegetables were cold, the fries were best

We were here a year ago and we liked it back then, so we came back. Unfortunately, this time was the last time. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the kitchen seems to be overwhelmed. Price/performance was not right for the starter, for 10.90 it was more of a greeting from the kitchen. Both burgers had a slightly burnt note. One went well, the second got worse and had to be returned. Replacement was delivered quickly. Unfortunately, this burger also has a burnt note. During dissection the culprit was found; the bacon was charred on the edge. These charcoal experiences and the non-special sauces, an absolute no-go. The yellow seagull has more taste. When it came to the bill, 10% was added to everything.

First and last time. The cuisine leaves something to be desired, the service offers no better. We ordered a mixed grill and all the vegetables were finished, this was only communicated to us after the order, so I asked them to add some baked potatoes, the waitress replied that she would ask if it was possible but in the end the the grilled meat only arrived with chips, I deduce perhaps the potatoes were also finished, the meat was cold and undercooked, for my two and a half year old daughter we ordered the menu with sandwich and chips, the meat in it too was undercooked, the the menu promised gadgets, placemats and coloring pencils, but we received none of this. In the end we ask for the dessert menu and the waitress replies that the kitchen is closed, we ask for two coffees and at least one scoop of ice cream for the little girl, moral, the coffees are not served to us because the waitress forgets and cleans the machine, the ice cream is served to us by what I assume was the chef complete with "here". On the other hand, the ice cream is offered to us for forgetting the coffees, in the place you could only feel the desire of the employees to go home as soon as possible. High prices for the quality offered.

Very Wild West setting. Regarding the food, the burgers are excellent and the wraps incredible. A great meal in an unusual setting: ideal for a family meal with children.

Quickly served and didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. Burgers were well cooked and tasty.

We liked the place. The beer from the pump was warm and non-carbonated. The starters, onion rings and chicken wings were very good. The main courses, two burgers, were very poorly prepared. The meat was more than cooked through and the visual appearance of the whole burger wasn't very appetizing. In a burger bun that was far too big, there was a piece of beef that was far too small. The proportions just weren't right.

If you call yourself a stakehouse then the corresponding quality is expected. Unfortunately the food isn't really good. I had an entrecote (sole of a shoe) which was exchanged without comment, but the second one wasn't really any better... The food alone would have earned 1-2 stars, but the staff deserved more.

Extremely rude service team. Told me to wait 5 min and after I waited 20min, they told me that they had to serve the rest of the people before even coming to me. What?? Very very disappointed…. By the quality of the service more than 20 minutes of waiting for someone to be interested in my table. Then the burgers are a blast…. by the “surplus” of sauce… no, I’m kidding, we’re always looking for it, and the avocado that you have to look really hard to find the 2 little bits they put in there. Since my last visit to them, the level has gone very, very low….
