From first courses to second courses (fish and meat) to sandwiches to desserts at the bar service you can never go wrong. Which is why it's never easy to choose! 360 degree quality service and products as is now rare to find around. Also convenient as the kitchen is open all day. Super recommended. Even just for the professionalism of the managers.

On a small tour in the Mendrisi area, after a visit to the beautiful Church of San Vittore martyr in Balerna, we stopped for a coffee at this place: the friendliness and friendliness of the manager and the good smell coming from the kitchen convinced us to stop for lunch rather than continue looking for a restaurant on our travel route. And no choice was more apt than this: flavors of the dishes that wonderfully take you back in time, balanced tastes that satisfy with every bite, both in the first courses with homemade pasta, and in the second courses with meat and vegetarian dishes. Products used of excellent quality and refinement in the final result sublimate the excellent professionalism of the service. And last but not least, the surprise of Sardinian cuisine such as gnocchi and ravioli, fregola, suckling pig and desserts such as pardule and seadas. A return, for us, to our land of origin, and with the knowledge of the cook, who is also obviously of Sardinian origins and extremely nice, we fully appreciated the offer of this restaurant-bistro, with the kitchen open all the time and which offers excellent dishes and cocktails in an informal and welcoming environment. Nikanor and Stef or maybe you are the same person, but it doesn't matter, I wanted to ask you if you are sure you ate the sandwich at the Bar Ticino stand. I ate it, it was excellent and had plenty of meat and was reasonably priced. The fact is that it was the most popular stand for food. Do you mean you caught the only two loser sandwiches? Bar Ticino see you soon for a meal.

Met for the first time at their stand during an event in Lugano. They were selling a sandwich for 15.- and it was practically empty inside. Practically a scam. If they work the same way in their location, it's better to avoid them like the plague!

Not a very large place but it offers a sort of external veranda that can be used even if it rains, the owner hosts various musical groups and I had the opportunity to listen to Mister Sound who are really good at acoustics with arrangements also with electric guitar and harmonica. The food is very good because it also offers a menu of Italian dishes and more.
